John Holmes House, also known as the Cresse–Holmes House, is located at 504 U.S. Route 9 North in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township in Cape May County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 12, 1979, for its significance in vernacular Georgian architecture. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1992.

The Cape May County Park & Zoo in the Cape May Court House section of Middle Township, New Jersey, provides free year-round admission to a collection of more than 550 animals representing 250 species in 85 acres (34 ha) of exhibits. The zoo is located at 707 U.S. Route 9 North, in the center of Cape May County's Central Park. Together, the zoo and the park cover about 220 acres (89 ha). The zoo began operation in 1978. Its principal exhibit areas are a 57-acre (23 ha) African Savanna, a free-flight aviary, and a reptile collection. In addition to the Zoo and Park Central, there is also Park East, Park North and Park South.The zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. Time changes occur with daylight saving time. The zoo also has a train ride and carousel. The train is trackless and can take visitors all around the zoo. The carousel has zoo animals for riding seats unlike the traditional horses on most carousels. Cape May County Zoological Society/ZooFriends, a 501(c)3 non-profit NJ corporation, is the official Support Organization of the Cape May County Park & Zoo. Since 1986 the Society has continuously provided the private sector funding needed to develop new exhibits, improve facilities, purchase zoo equipment and make acquisitions for the animal collection. The Society makes significant contributions to conservation and endeavors to encourage the community's interest and enjoyment of the Zoo.

It is the only hospital in Cape May County. Cape Regional Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County. The system includes Cape Regional Medical Center, three urgent care facilities, Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 50 primary care providers and specialists delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County, the Thomas and Claire Brodesser Jr., Cancer Center, the Jane Osborne Center, Cape Regional Miracles Fitness and numerous freestanding outpatient facilities providing wound care, radiology, lab, and physical therapy services. Cape Regional Medical Center is accredited by and received the Gold Seal of approval from The Joint Commission.

The Cape May County Special Services School District (CMCSSSD) is a special education public school district headquartered in Middle Township, in Cape May County, New Jersey, United States, whose schools offer educational and therapeutic services for students of elementary and high school age from across the county who have emotional of physical disabilities that cannot be addressed by their sending districts. As of the 2011–12 school year, the district's two schools had an enrollment of 267 students and 45.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 5.89:1.Its facility has a Cape May Court House postal address but is not within the CMCH census-designated place.

Cape May County Technical High School, located in Middle Township, which provides vocational and technical education to students in ninth through twelfth grades from Cape May County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as part of the Cape May County Technical School District. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 2000.It has a Cape May Court House postal address but is not located in the census-designated place.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 553 students and 65.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.5:1. There were 129 students (23.3% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 37 (6.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Old Cape May County Courthouse Building is located in Cape May Court House, Cape May County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1848 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 22, 1981. It was replaced by the Cape May Courthouse in 1927.

The Cape May County Courthouse is located at 9 North Main Street in Cape May Court House, the county seat of Cape May County, which itself is in Middle Township, New Jersey, United States.It was designed by Edwards & Green of Camden and Philadelphia and built in 1926–1927 by Bennett McLaughlin Company, also of Philadelphia. They also designed the county seal, which was originally meant as a medallion for the new courthouse floor, and adopted as official in 1927.It replaced the Old Cape May County Courthouse Building that had been built in 1848 and that was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. This First order, Fresnel lens from the top of the Cape May Lighthouse was moved to the courthouse.

Cape May Court House is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Middle Township in Cape May County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is part of the Ocean City metropolitan statistical area. As of the 2020 United States census, the CDP's population was 5,573, reflecting a 4.4% increase from the 5,338 enumerated at the 2010 U.S. census, in turn an increase of 13.5% from the 4,704 counted in the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Cape May County and serves as the principal administrative hub for the township. It constitutes part of the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, or the Delaware Valley. In addition to students from Middle Township, students from Avalon, Dennis Township, Stone Harbor and Woodbine attend the high school as part of sending/receiving relationships with their respective school districts.The school is in the Cape May Court House census-designated place.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 790 students and 64.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. There were 242 students (30.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 44 (5.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Enrollment was 900 in 2013.

Middle Township is a township in Cape May County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township, and all of Cape May County, is part of the Ocean City metropolitan statistical area, and is part of the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden, PA-NJ-DE-MD combined statistical area, also known as the Delaware Valley or Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 20,380, an increase of 1,469 (+7.8%) from the 2010 census count of 18,911, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,506 (+15.3%) from the 16,405 counted in the 2000 census. The township's Cape May Court House section is the county seat of Cape May County.
