Hopper House (Upper Saddle River, New Jersey)

New North Reformed Low Dutch Church (also known as Saddle River Reformed Church and The Old Stone Church) is a historic Reformed church on East Saddle River Road at Old Stone Church Road in Upper Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The church was built in 1819 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 15, 1982.

The Upper Saddle River School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Upper Saddle River in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising three schools, had an enrollment of 1,133 students and 108.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "J", the highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 8,353, an increase of 145 (+1.8%) from the 2010 census count of 8,208, which in turn reflected an increase of 467 (+6.0%) from the 7,741 counted in the 2000 census.Upper Saddle River had a per capita income of $73,639 and was ranked 20th in New Jersey based on data from the 2006–2010 American Community Survey (ACS) from the United States Census Bureau, more than double the statewide average of $34,858. In the 2013–2017 ACS, Upper Saddle River had a median household income of $176,674 (ranked 8th in the state) and included 42.9% of households earning more than $200,000 annually.

Hopper-Goetschius House is located in Upper Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983. The house was built in 1739 by Abraham Hopper and sold to Rev. Stephen Goetschius in 1814. It remained in the Goetschius until 1985 when the house was given to the borough of Upper Saddle River. The Upper Saddle River Historical Society now uses the house as a museum.

The Terhune–Hopper House is located at 349 West Saddle River Road in the borough of Upper Saddle River in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was built around 1781 by tradition, perhaps later by architectural evidence. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).According to the nomination form, Albert Terhune bought 330 acres (130 ha) here in 1746. The house was left to his son, John Albert Terhune, and then to his son, Albert Terhune. The house next went to his brother Harmon Terhune, and then his sister Elizabeth Terhune, who married John Eckerson Hopper, listed as the owner in 1846.

Eckerson House is a historic house located at 280 Chestnut Ridge Road in Montvale, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1796 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983.

F. L. Wandell, Estate and Ward Factory Site, is located in Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 1, 1990. The house was completely gutted down to the wood frame around 2012. The houses overall shape is the same, but the exterior appearance has been greatly altered for a more contemporary style of architecture from the home's original 1800s appearance. Other major changes include the reorientation of the driveway and the addition of a swimming pool and various other aspects. The photo displayed here on Wikipedia depicts the home after the 2012 renovation. Whether any of the homes original interiors are still intact is unknown. The original barn, which is now part of the neighboring parcel still has its original exterior. The William Ward Edge Tool Factory was located on the F. L. Wandell Estate and manufactured tools from 1868 to 1890. There was a murder/suicide at the estate on September 8th 1896. While visiting for Labor Day from New York City, Frank Wandell's friend Issac Caryl was shot & killed in the Estate's massive horse barn by the Wandell family's coachmen William Dowling in a "fit of insanity". Caryl was shot through the chest with a shot gun being killed almost instantly. Dowling committed suicide shortly after, also in the barn.

Airmont is a village in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States, located north of the state of New Jersey, east of Suffern, south of Montebello, and west of Chestnut Ridge. The population was 10,166 at the 2020 census.The village of Airmont, incorporated in 1991, is a consolidation of the hamlets of Tallman, Airmont and South Monsey. Joseph Berger of The New York Times wrote in a 1997 article that Airmont was one of several Ramapo villages formed "to preserve the sparse Better Homes and Garden [sic] ambiance that attracted them to Rockland County." In 2005, Peter Applebome of The New York Times said that Airmont was "slapped around enough by the courts to be something other than a virginal player in any discrimination case" since it ran into legal resistance to its development laws.

Dr. E. G. Roy House, is located in Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1865 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 29, 1986.

Saint Joseph Regional High School (known as SJR, St. Joe's or Joe's) is a private, Roman Catholic, college preparatory school for boys, located on a 33-acre (130,000 m2) campus in Montvale, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school operates under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. St. Joseph Regional High School was founded in 1962 by the Brothers of Saint Francis Xavier. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1968.As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 505 students and 32.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.5:1. The school's student body was 71.5% (361) White, 10.5% (53) Black, 8.7% (44) Hispanic, 6.9% (35) two or more races and 2.4% (12) Asian. Green Meadow Waldorf School (GMWS) is an independent Waldorf school located in Chestnut Ridge, Rockland County, New York. It offers parent and child classes, and nursery/kindergarten through 12th grades. The school is accredited by both the New York State Association of Independent Schools and the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Founded in 1950, it is one of the oldest of the approximately 190 independent North American Waldorf schools (there are about 1,000 such schools worldwide).
