Vietnam National Children's Hospital (VNCH) is a medical facility in Hanoi. Initially established in 1969 as Institute for the Protection of Children's Health. It was also known as Vietnam-Sweden Children’s Hospital, Olof Palme Pediatric Institute, and National Hospital of Pediatrics (NHP) before adopting its present name in 2016.The facility was designated to follow the model of pediatric department in Bach Mai Hospital of Hanoi and became the leading pediatric center in all Vietnam. Hữu Tiệp Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Hữu Tiệp) is a small artificial freshwater lake located in Ngọc Hà ward, Ba Đình District, Hanoi. The lake was once part of a river. Most of the river was filled to be reclaimed as residential zones in 1994, leaving Huu Tiep lake and a nearby unnamed lake, separated by 55 Hoang Hoa Tham lane. The lake is also a site of the wreckage of one of B-52 Stratofortress downed in 27/12/1972 by the 285th regiment of the 363th division in the Vietnam Air Defence - Air Force Service during Operation Linebacker II, hence the alternative name, B-52 Lake. The lake and the ruins was designated as a national historical vestige in April 22nd, 1992. In April 2021, the lake and the ruins of the downed B-52 was renovated by the People's Council of Hanoi City after reports of them downgrading. The renovation was completed and tourists were allowed to visit the site during the 50th anniversary of Operation Linebacker II in 2022.

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (Vietnamese: Bảo tàng Dân tộc học Việt Nam) is a museum in Hanoi, Vietnam, which focuses on the 54 officially recognised ethnic groups in Vietnam. It is located on a 43,799-square-metre (10.823-acre) property in the Cầu Giấy District, about 8 km from the city center. The museum is a member of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences - an academic institution of the Vietnamese Government. A second exhibition building was open in 2013 and has a focus on Southeast Asian cultures and peoples.
