Doğan Holding is amongst the biggest conglomerates in Turkey operating in the energy, media, industry, trade, insurance and tourism industries. Founded by Aydın Doğan who still is a major shareholder, the company is led by his daughter Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı. Main operating activity of the Holding is to invest in various sectors via associates, to provide all necessary support to its subsidiaries and joint ventures in order to develop their activities.

The Vehbi Koç Foundation (Turkish: Vehbi Koç Vakfı) is one of the biggest non-governmental charitable organizations in Turkey. It was established on January 17, 1969 by the Turkish entrepreneur and philanthropist Vehbi Koç (1901-1996). The foundation is active in the fields of education, healthcare and culture.The board of directors is currently chaired by Semahat Arsel, the eldest daughter of Vehbi Koç. Executive committee's president is Suna Koç, another daughter. Erdal Yıldırım is the managing director of the foundation. The headquarters of the foundation is located at Nakkaştepe in Kuzguncuk, Istanbul.

Kuzguncuk Gasworks , also known as Beylerbeyi Palace Gasworks, (Turkish: Kuzguncuk Gazhanesi or Beylerbeyi Sarayı Gazhanesi) was a gasworks to produce coal gas in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1864, and functioned until 1940. After 1992, it was redeveloped as acultural ans social facility.

Bet Nissim Synagogue (Hebrew: קהל קדוש בית נסים) is a synagogue built in 1840s in Kuzguncuk, Istanbul, Turkey. With its Ehal-ha-Kodesh dating from the end of 18th century, it was restored and reopened to the public. Visits are possible through appointment from the Chief Rabbinate.

İcadiye is a neighborhood in the Üsküdar municipality on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. It is centered on İcadiye Hill and is bordered on the north by Kuzguncuk, on the east by Altunizade, on the south by Selami Ali, and on the west by Sultantepe. It is mostly a residential neighborhood, with a few historic houses and buildings. The name of the neighborhood is related to the word for invention (Turkish: icat). It received this name because new types of printing presses invented by Sarkis Kalfa of Kayseri were manufactured in shops there.Several water sources on İcadiye Hill were connected to the historic center of Üsküdar during the Ottoman era. The Mihrimah Sultan Water Line was built in 1547 to bring water to the Mihrimah Sultan Mosque. The Arslan Agha Water Line was built in 1646 to bring water to fountains in Sultantepe and to the Abdi Efendi and Mihrimah Sultan Mosques.The neighborhood has a historic bathhouse, the İcadiye Dağ Hamamı, built in 1854 by Sheikh ul-Islam Arif Hikmet Beyefendi.Because of its strategic location, in the past the neighborhood was the site of two fire towers, Arapzade Tower and Ayarcıbaşı Tower.Mosques in the neighborhood include the Hacı Mehmet Ali Öztürk Mosque (1990) and the Hacı Osmanoğlu Mosque. Schools in the neighborhood include Nersesyan Yermonyan Armenian Private Kindergarten and Elementary School (as of the 2000-2001 school year, this school had no students), Fuat Baymur Elementary School, İcadiye Elementary School, and Üsküdar High School.

The Feeler (Turkish: Hisseden İnsan; previously Hisseden Adam) is an outdoor sculpture, located on the Üsküdar University campus in Üsküdar, İstanbul, Turkey. Installed in front of the Altunizade Central Campus, it was commissioned in 2011. Small sized versions of the sculpture are given by the University, as awards.

Boğaziçi Köprüsü is a station on the Istanbul Metrobus Bus rapid transit line. It is located on the Istanbul Inner Beltway and accessible via Abdullahağa Avenue. The station is serviced by four of the seven Metrobus routes.Boğaziçi Köprüsü station was opened on 3 March 2009 as part of the eastward expansion of the line across the Bosporus.

Agios Georgios Greek Orthodox Church (Greek: Ἑλληνορθόδοξη Ἑκκλησία Αγίου Γεωργίου, Turkish: Ayios Yeorgios Rum Ortodox Kilisesi) is a Greek Orthodox church dedicated to Saint George located in Kuzguncuk neighborhood of Üsküdar district in Istanbul, Turkey.According to an inscription, the church underwent a complete renovation in 1821.

Üsküdar American Academy (Turkish: Üsküdar Amerikan Lisesi) is a private coeducational high school located in Üsküdar borough of Istanbul, Turkey. The school was established by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in 1876. Today, it is owned and administered by the Health and Education Foundation (Sağlık ve Eğitim Vakfı, or SEV) along with other former ABCFM institutions in Turkey.
