The Consulate-General of the Russian Federation in Houston (Russian: Генеральное консульство Российской Федерации в Хьюстоне) General'noe konsul'stvo Rossiyskoy Federatsii v Kh'yustone) is Russia's diplomatic office in Houston, Texas, United States. It is located in Suite 1300 at Park Towers South. The facility serves Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. As of 2017 the consul general is Alexander Borisovich Pisarev.

The Post Oak Hotel & Tower, also popularly nicknamed the Fertitta Tower is a 36-story, 499-foot-high (152 m) mixed-use skyscraper in Uptown Houston. The building operates a hotel, office space, residencies, and retail. The Post Oak serves as the headquarters for Fertitta Entertainment and its subsidiaries including Landry's, Inc., the Houston Rockets, and the Golden Nugget casinos. A penthouse room which houses Fertitta, the developer, is located in the building.

Four Oaks Place is a complex of skyscrapers in Uptown Houston, Texas, United States. Managed by CBRE, the complex includes the 420 ft (128 m) 1330 Post Oak Boulevard (sometimes referred to as the Aon Building), the 25-story 351 ft (107m) BHP Billiton Tower (1360 Post Oak Boulevard), Wells Fargo Tower (1300 Post Oak Boulevard), and the Interfin Building (1400 Post Oak Boulevard). The buildings were designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects.

Yia Yia Mary's (sometimes referred to as Yia Yia Mary's Greek Kitchen and Yia Yia Mary's Mediterranean Kitchen) was a Greek restaurant with two locations in Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. Pappas Restaurants opened the Uptown Houston restaurant in 2004, and second Yia Yia Mary's began operating at William P. Hobby Airport in 2015. The restaurants served Greek cuisine including seafood and received a generally positive reception. Both locations closed in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally developed by The Winter Company and completed in 1982, Five Post Oak Park is a 28-story building on 3.8 acres (1.5 ha) of land. It has 567,396 square feet (52,712.8 m2) of rentable space and a 1,673-stall parking garage. It is located in proximity to Uptown and inside the 610 Loop. The building is in proximity to River Oaks and Tanglewood.

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center (155 acres) is a non-profit arboretum and nature center located in Memorial Park at 4501 Woodway Drive, Houston, Texas. It is open daily with free admission.The arboretum was first conceived by Robert A. Vines, and in 1951 park land was set aside by the City Council for the Houston Botanical Society. (Today's arboretum is somewhat smaller than its initial 265-acre (1.07 km2) site.) The children's botanical hall was funded in 1966, and nature center begun in 1967. The Houston Arboretum is managed by the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center Board of Directors and staff under an agreement with the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department.The organization was renamed in the 1980s; donations in the 1990s provided for major renovations and expansions.Today the arboretum contains over five miles (8 km) of nature trails, with forest, pond, wetland, and meadow habitats. Specialty gardens include a Hummingbird & Butterfly Island, Sensory Garden, and Wildlife Garden. It is a favorite date spot for Houstonians.

BLVD Place is a mixed-use development located in Uptown Houston, Houston, Texas, United States, encompassing 20 acres at the intersection of Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe. The development is the largest in Uptown with over 1.8 million square feet with 124,644 sq ft (11,579.8 m2) of retail space and 92,234 sq ft (8,568.8 m2) of office space. BLVD Place is home to Whole Foods Market and numerous upscale shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Phase II of the development contains about 211,000 sq ft (19,600 m2) of retail, restaurant, and office space, and is 99.9% leased. Phase I, including 70,000 sq ft (6,500 m2) of retail and office space, was completed in 2009. The complex includes 1,300,000 square feet (120,000 m2) of Class A office space and retail. The complex includes a 90,000-square-foot (8,400 m2) retail center and parking for 4,200 cars.

River Oaks District is an outdoor shopping complex in Houston, Texas, which opened October 1, 2015. It consists of 252,000 square feet of retail space with an iPic movie theater. Instead of a large anchor store it has multiple smaller high-end anchors. The layout is designed for strolling with heavily landscaped walkways, tree-lined streets, and curbside and garage parking. Restaurants and cafes are distributed throughout.
