Trenton City Hall

The New Jersey Network (NJN) was a network of public television and radio stations serving the U.S. state of New Jersey. NJN was a member of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) for television and the National Public Radio (NPR) for radio, broadcasting their programming as well as producing and broadcasting their own programming, mostly relating to issues in New Jersey. With studios in both Trenton and Newark, NJN's television network covered all of New Jersey, plus parts of Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and Delaware. The radio network primarily served several areas of New Jersey that were not covered by Philadelphia and New York City public radio stations. New Jersey Network ended operations on June 30, 2011. The television network was succeeded by NJTV (now branded as "NJ PBS"), and the radio stations were split through two separate sales to NPR-member stations in Philadelphia and New York.

NJ PBS (known as NJTV prior to 2021) is a public television network serving the U.S. state of New Jersey. The network is owned by the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority (NJPBA), an agency of the New Jersey state government which owns the licenses for all but one of the PBS member stations licensed in the state. NJPBA outsources the network's operations to Public Media NJ, a wholly-owned subsidiary of New York City-based The WNET Group (formerly known as the Educational Broadcasting Corporation and later as WNET.org), the parent company of Newark, New Jersey–licensed WNET (channel 13) and Garden City, New York–licensed WLIW (channel 21). In addition to PBS programming, NJ PBS airs shows distributed by American Public Television (APT); the network also produces and broadcasts its own programs, mostly related to issues in New Jersey. NJ PBS' operations are based in Englewood, New Jersey. Its anchor studio is located at Gateway Center in Newark. Master control and some internal operations are based at WNET's studios in the Worldwide Plaza complex in Midtown Manhattan. NJ PBS is the successor to New Jersey Network (NJN), the state-controlled public television and radio service. NJN ceased operations on June 30, 2011, and Public Media NJ took control of the former NJN television stations the following day.

The New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles Building, also known as the Looman Building, is a historic International Style office building located at 25 South Montgomery Street in the city of Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It was designed by the architectural firm Kramer, Hirsch & Carchidi and completed in 1961 by Looman Associates. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 20, 2023, for its significance in architecture.

The Clarkson S. Fisher Federal Building and United States Courthouse, originally known as the United States Courthouse and Federal Building, is located in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. It houses the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. The building was designed by James A. Wetmore and completed in 1932. The "stripped" Neoclassic structure contains murals by Charles Wells. It was added to the state register of historic places in 1989 and federal register in 2012. It was named for federal judge Clarkson Sherman Fisher in 1993 prior to his death in 1997.

The Douglass House is a historic house currently located at the corner of Front and Montgomery Streets in the Mill Hill neighborhood of the city Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey. It served as George Washington's headquarters prior to the Battle of Princeton on January 3, 1777. Listed as the Bright–Douglass House, it was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1936, when the house was located in Mahlon Stacy Park near the Delaware River. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 1970, for its significance in architecture, military and social history. It was added as a contributing property to the Mill Hill Historic District on December 12, 1977.

The Broad Street National Bank building is located at 143 East State Street in the city of Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1900 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 17, 2008, for its significance in architecture and commerce. The building was the first skyscraper in the city.

Mill Hill is a historic neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is considered to be part of Downtown Trenton. The Mill Hill Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Trenton Friends Meeting House is a historic Quaker meeting house at 142 E. Hanover Street in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The Trenton Quaker Meeting House dates back to 1739. It was occupied by the British Dragoons in 1776, and by the Continental Army later in the Revolutionary War. It has been in continuous use by Quakers in and around Trenton ever since it was built. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Friends Burying Ground is a cemetery in Trenton in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The cemetery is located on the west side of North Montgomery Street north of East Hanover Street, adjacent to the Trenton Friends Meeting House.

The Mercer Street Friends Center is located at 151 Mercer Street in the Mill Hill neighborhood of the city Trenton in Mercer County, New Jersey. Built in 1858, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 12, 1971, for its significance in architecture, religion, and social history. It was added as a contributing property to the Mill Hill Historic District in 1977. It now houses the main offices of Mercer Street Friends, a Trenton-based Quaker-affiliated social service agency founded in 1958.

Ewing/Carroll is a neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is considered to be an enclave within the larger Coalport/North Clinton neighborhood.

The New Jersey Women's Hall of Fame was established in 2011, by the YWCA of Trenton, in Trenton, New Jersey. Inductions into the hall of fame occur at the Annual Induction Gala, which is held in the Spring. Each inductee receives the Gerber Daisy Award, created in 2011 by Boehm Porcelain, of Trenton, for the hall of fame. The inaugural class was inducted on March 31, 2011. The YWCA of Trenton—sponsor of the hall—was founded in 1904, to empower women, eliminate racism, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for everyone.
