Estadio Rumiñahui

Sangolquí is a suburb of Quito and the seat of Rumiñahui canton in the province of Pichincha, in northern Ecuador. It is connected to Quito by the Autopista General Rumiñahui (General Rumiñahui Highway). The suburb is home to the prestigious university ESPE, one of the best universities in Ecuador. It is also home to Colegio Liceo del Valle, Colegio Antares, Liceo Naval Quito and "Émile Jaques-Dalcroze" High School, which offers International Baccalaureate and is an authorized centre for University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. The suburb also holds the football club Independiente del Valle that reached the final of the 2016 Copa Libertadores, won the 2019 and the 2022 Copa Sudamericana. Sangolquí, along with the rest of Rumiñahui canton, was designated as a Pueblo Mágico by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) in 2020.

The Armed Forces University – ESPE (Spanish: Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas – ESPE), which can also be translated as Polytechnical School of the Army, formerly called "Escuela Politécnica del Ejército" (Army Polytechnic School) is a higher education university in Sangolquí, Pichincha Province, Ecuador. Established on June 16, 1922, it originated from the Escuela de Oficiales Ingenieros (School of Engineer Officials), created by the Ecuadorian President José Luis Tamayo.Currently, Armed Forces University – ESPE has several campuses across Ecuador. These are ESPE Sangolquí (Main Campus), IASA (El Prado estate), ESPE Latacunga Campus, and ESPE Santo Domingo Zoila Luz Estate. There are several laboratories, courts, auditoriums, virtual classrooms, and a library in the main Polytechnic campus.

Estadio Banco Guayaquil, sometimes known as Estadio Independiente del Valle, is a football stadium in Quito, Ecuador. It is currently used on club level by owner Independiente del Valle and their reserve team Independiente Juniors. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 spectators.

Ilaló is a volcano (eroded and no longer active) between San Pedro River to the west and Chiche River to the east, in Quito Canton, Pichincha Province, Ecuador. Ilaló is surrounded by the rural parishes Cumbayá, Tumbaco, La Merced and Alangasí. A song was dedicated to the ex volcano by Chancha Via Circuito titled "Ilaló"

Puengasí is a hill towards the southeast of the center of the city of Quito, Pichincha Province, Ecuador, across Machángara River, and southeast of Itchimbía. It is northwest of the rural parish Conocoto.

The British School Quito (BSQ) is a British international school for students aged 3–18 in Quito, Ecuador. It was founded by Gloria Hooper, Baroness Hooper and the former British Ambassador in Ecuador Richard Lavers in 1995.In Years 12 and 13, the school offers the accredited IB Diploma Programme. The British School is the only school in Quito to offer, in English, all of the “Higher Level” IB programmes of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The school curriculum is taught in English. The curriculum is the British National curriculum from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4, this includes the internationally recognised Cambridge iGCSE examinations. The school teaches Spanish, has a Spanish as a Second Language department, English as an Additional Language department, and geography.

El Recreo is a Quito Metro station. It was officially opened on 21 December 2022 as part of the inaugural section of the system between Quitumbe and El Labrador. The revenue service started on 2 May 2023 and discontinued on 11 May 2023. It resumed on 1 December 2023. The station is located between La Magdalena and Cardenal de la Torre.This is an underground station. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Pedro Vicente Maldonado and Avenida Moraspungo. The station is part of a large transfer complex which also includes the trolleybus station.On 23 January 2023, the first train with 600 passengers to whom invitations were extended, arrived to the station.

Quicentro Sur is a shopping mall located south of Quito that opened in August 2010. It is the largest mall in Ecuador. It contains 350 shops, an entertainment area, a food court, ten cinema screens, a large plaza for events, and an ice rink in a construction area of 165,000 square metres (1,780,000 sq ft) over a total area of ten hectares (25 acres).

Píntag is an agrarian village located 27.5 kilometers southeast of Quito in Pichincha Province, Ecuador. Pintag is 9284 feet above sea level. The closest airport is the Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito. The town is located is near the Antisana volcano in Pichincha. Some of the residents farm and raise livestock, and horse riding is a popular local sport. Pintag is the home to the first Jesuit house in Ecuador, a farmhouse named Hacienda Yurak. The monks quarried stone from the farm to build the church named la Compañia.The town is known for its many public festivals. On January 1 of each year, the town celebrates the Fiesta of the Child. On the Tuesday during Carnaval the Fiesta of the Virgen de Santa Bárbara is celebrated, and on March 19, Pintag holds the Fiesta de San José. The first Sunday of October is the Fiesta of Santísima Virgen del Rosario, and the subsequent Tuesday is the Fiesta of the patron saint, San Jerónimo. On December 8, Pintag celebrates the Fiesta of the Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción.The artist Estuardo Maldonado was born in Pintag in 1930. Contemporary watercolorist Manuel García was born in Pintag and paints the architecture and people of the town.

Solanda is a Quito Metro station. It was officially opened on 21 December 2022 as part of the inaugural section of the system between Quitumbe and El Labrador. The revenue service started on 2 May 2023 and discontinued on 11 May 2023. It resumed on 1 December 2023. The station is located between Cardenal de la Torre and Morán Valverde.This is an underground station. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Ajavi and Calle Benacio Estandoque. On 23 January 2023, the first train with 600 passengers to whom invitations were extended, arrived to the station.

Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda is a multi-use stadium in southern Quito, Ecuador. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Aucas. The stadium holds 18,799 spectators and built in 1987 and opened in 1994. British Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden performed in the stadium as part of their Somewhere Back in Time World Tour on March 10, 2009.

Cardenal de la Torre is a Quito Metro station. It was officially opened on 21 December 2022 as part of the inaugural section of the system between Quitumbe and El Labrador. The revenue service started on 2 May 2023 and discontinued on 11 May 2023. It resumed on 1 December 2023. The station is located between El Recreo and Solanda.This is an underground station. It is located at the intersection of Avenida Cardenal Carlos de la Torre and Calle Vicente Reyes. The tunnel was extended to the station on 21 September 2017. On 23 January 2023, the first train with 600 passengers to whom invitations were extended, arrived to the station.
