Triumfalnaya Square (former Mayakovsky Square, colloquially Mayakovka) is a public square in the Tverskoy District of the Central Administrative Okrug of Moscow. It is located in the Garden Ring between the Big Garden street, 1st Brest street and 2nd Brest street, 1st Tverskaya Yamskaya street, Armory alley, Building Arc and Tverskaya Street.

Mayakovskaya (Russian: Маяковская), is a Moscow Metro station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. The name as well as the design is a reference to Futurism and its prominent Russian exponent Vladimir Mayakovsky. Considered to be one of the most beautiful in the system, it is a fine example of pre-World War II Stalinist Architecture and one of the most famous Metro stations in the world. It is best known for its 34 ceiling mosaics depicting "24 Hours in the Land of the Soviets." During World War II, it was used as a command post for Moscow's anti-aircraft regiment.

The ministry is responsible for regulating and forming policies related to socioeconomic and business development in Russia.

The Peking Hotel (Пекин, a Cyrillization of Peking, the name Beijing) is a building in Moscow which houses a four-star hotel and an office complex. The building, which was designed in the Stalinist classicism style, was constructed between 1939 and 1955. It is located in the city center at the intersection of the Garden Ring and Tverskaya Street. Designed by prominent Soviet architect Dmitry Chechulin, the hotel was originally intended to commemorate Sino-Soviet friendship, but by the time it was completed, the relationship between two nations had gone cold.Peking Hotel, which is owned by Sistema, is located at Bol'shaya Sadovaya Ulitsa, 5 in Moscow. Oleg Kuznetsov (Russian: Олег Кузнецов) was the hotel administrator from 2002 to 2016.In 2011, it was announced that the hotel would be renovated as a luxury hotel and would reopen in 2017, managed by Fairmont Hotels as the Fairmont Pekin Moscow. The renovation and rebranding never happened, however.

The Bulgakov House (Russian: Музей-театр «Булгаковский дом») is situated on the ground floor of Bolshaya Sadovaya ulitsa no. 10 in Moscow, in the building where the Soviet writer Mikhail Bulgakov used to live, and in which some major scenes of his novel The Master and Margarita are set. The museum was established as a private initiative on May 15, 2004. In the same building, in apartment number 50 on the fourth floor, is a second museum that keeps alive the memory of Bulgakov, the Bulgakov Museum in Moscow. This second museum is a government initiative and was founded on March 26, 2007. There is a rivalry between the two museums, mainly maintained by the later-established official M.A. Bulgakov Museum which, with no sense of irony, invariably presents itself as "the first and only Memorial Museum of Mikhail Bulgakov in Moscow".Many other locations playing a role in the novel The Master and Margarita are situated in the neighborhood of the Bulgakov House, like the Patriarch's Ponds, the Variety Theatre, and the Griboedov writers' house. The Bulgakov House open every day from 13:00 to 23:00 hours, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 01:00. Entrance is free.

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Moscow is the diplomatic mission of Nigeria in the Russian Federation. The embassy is also accredited to Belarus. Tverskoy District (Russian: Тверско́й райо́н, IPA: [tvʲɪrˈskoj] (listen)) is a district of Central Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. Population: 75,378 (2010 Census); 75,955 (2002 Census).The district extends from Kitai-gorod northwest to Belorussky and Savyolovsky Rail Terminals . Its southern boundary runs one or two city blocks south from Tverskaya Street; eastern boundary follows the track of the Neglinnaya River now flowing in a tunnel under Samotechnaya Street, Tsvetnoy Boulevard, and Neglinnaya Street. Tverskoy District houses State Duma, Federation Council, the Mayor of Moscow, Moscow City Council, and Moscow Police Headquarters. It contains Theatre Square, the business district of Tverskaya Street with Pushkin Square, Petrovka Street, Dmitrovka Street, and the western part of Kuznetsky Most. It has the highest concentration of theatres, including Bolshoi Theatre and the historical Pillar Hall of the House of the Unions. Historical areas of Patriarshy Ponds, Malaya Bronnaya Street, and most of Tverskoy Boulevard, while closely associated with Tverskaya Street actually belong to Presnensky District. Since 2002 Tverskoy District also includes Kitai-gorod, which was once a separate territory managed directly by Central Administrative Okrug.

Patriarch's Ponds (Russian: Патриаршие пруды, Patriarshiye prudy) is park, pond and an affluent residential area in downtown Presnensky District of Moscow, Russia. For the last 200 years, there has been only one pond, although, as the name of Tryokhprudny Pereulok (Трёхпрудный переулок, lit. Three-Pond Lane) suggests, there used to be more. The area of the existing pond is 9,900 square metres (107,000 sq ft); the depth is about two meters. The Ponds area is accessible via the Moscow Metro Mayakovskaya (eastern exit) and Pushkinskaya stations.

The Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH, RGGU; Russian: Росси́йский госуда́рственный гуманита́рный университе́т, РГГУ, romanized: Rossijskij gosudarstvennyj gumanitarnyj universitet, RGGU), is a university in Moscow, Russia with over 25,000 students. It was created in 1991 as the result of the merger of the Moscow Urban University of the People (est. 1908) and the Moscow State University for History and Archives (est. 1930). It is one of the leading universities for humanities in the Russian Federation.
