Mount Pleasant is a neighbourhood of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, located in the northwestern portion of the city. Historically, the community was a rural hamlet surrounded by agricultural lands. Since opening the Mount Pleasant GO Station in 2006, the area has experienced rapid suburban growth. Along with the Mount Pleasant GO Station retail amenities have opened in the area. The public library has opened up both floors and the library building is a reconstructed historic CPR station structure used as a cultural facility in the Mount Pleasant Civic Square shared with the Peel District School Board and the library. The school connected to the library is Mount Pleasant Village Public School and offers grades K-8.

Mount Pleasant GO Station is a GO Transit railway station Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Situated on the Kitchener line, it serves the Mount Pleasant district of Brampton. It is located at Bovaird Drive and Ashby Field Drive. As of April 2023, it is the western terminus for weekend and most off-peak Kitchener line train services.

David Suzuki Secondary School is an institution located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The school is named after Canadian environmental activist David Suzuki In association with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority, the school offers the Ontario curriculum in a program that is rich in environmental studies and models sustainable practices. The school is also distinguished by the high level of computer technology available in school and utilized in classes. The school draws most of its students from the area bounded by Queen Street West, Hurontario Street, Bovaird Drive West, and Mississauga Road.

St. Edmund Campion Catholic Secondary School is a high school in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The school is operated by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. As of now there are over 1,800 students enrolled in, and the uniform consists of a navy blue golf shirt, a navy blue golf t-shirt and navy blue pants. Additional uniform pieces include a rugby sweater, a Campion branded sweatshirt and a school sweater. Previously, the uniform consisted of khaki pants but this was altered in 2023.

Despite the school's recent construction, its population is growing at a rate faster than the supportable growth rate. For the 2010 and 2011 school year the boundary for the school changed, thus dropping the student population by 300 students to a more manageable population of 1700 students.

Its population was 170,422 in 2006- making it the most populous riding in Canada.The district includes the western part of the city of Brampton excluding the neighbourhood of Madoc. The electoral district was created in 2003: 72.8% of the population of the riding came from Brampton West—Mississauga, and 27.2% from Brampton Centre. As a result of the 2012 electoral redistribution, this riding lost just over half of its territory, mostly to Brampton South, with portions going to Brampton North. The Toronto Real Estate Board labels this section as "W24" in their studies.People of Jamaican ethnic origin make up 13.0% of the riding's population, the highest such percentage in Canada.

Brampton Innovation District GO Station (Brampton Station) is a railway station served by GO Transit and Via Rail, located at 27 Church Street West in downtown Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is directly connected to the Downtown Brampton Terminal which serves GO Transit and Brampton Transit buses.

The Downtown Terminal is a Brampton Transit bus station serving the central area of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is located a block north of the intersection of Main Street and Queen Street, the two main streets in downtown. There is direct access to Via Rail and GO Transit trains at the adjoining Brampton GO Station. Municipal and private-sector partnerships funded this facility and built a six-storey office building above the transit terminal. A portion of the ground level of the building accommodates ticket sales and a heated waiting room.
