It has an area of approximately 58 hectares (144 acres). It is located 14.4 km (8.9 mi) distance by road from Limerick city centre, in a South South East direction. The name is an anglicisation from the Irish language "Airí Bhuí", meaning "yellow milking place".Residents of Arywee entitled to vote may do so for candidates in the Adare-Rathkeale Electoral Area for local elections, the Limerick City (Dáil constituency) constituency for general elections, and the South constituency for European Parliament elections. South Liberties (Irish: Saor Theas) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in County Limerick, Ireland. The club is based in the parish of Donoughmore-Knockea-Roxboro, on the southern outskirts of Limerick City and is affiliated to the East Board of Limerick GAA. It is one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1884, the same year as the GAA. South Liberties' home ground in Ballysheedy is called Dooley Park, in memory of one of the club's greatest players. The club has won many county titles during its history, most notably seven Limerick Senior Hurling Championships; in 1888, 1889, 1890, 1972, 1976, 1978 and 1981. The club currently fields teams in the Senior Hurling and Junior Gaelic football Championships in Limerick.

Roxborough (Irish: Baile an Róistigh) is a townland in County Limerick, Ireland comprising some 24.02 km2. It lies to the south of the townlands of Ballysheedy and Routagh and to the east of the townland of Ballyclough. Its northern boundary, partially bounded by the Ballyclough River, lies some three kilometres to the south of the Limerick City boundary at Southill. The Limerick to Fedamore road (R511) bounds the west side of Roxborough. Roxborough was historically part of the civil parish of Caheravally and the Barony of Clanwilliam and comprised 526 acres, two roods and five perches. Roxborough is in the Roman Catholic parish of Donoughmore and Knockea, which lies in the Diocese of Limerick. It is also part of the catchment area of South Liberties GAA Club. Roxborough is designated as an electoral division and contains the following townlands: Ashfort, Ballyclough, Ballysheedy West, Bohereen, Cahervally, Derrybeg, Friarstown, Greenhills, Lemonfield, Lickadoon, Lissanalta, Oatlands, Parkroe, Raheen, Rathuard, Rootiagh, Routagh, Roxborough and Toberyquin. The Roxborough Electoral Division had a population of 1,601 at the Census of Ireland 2011, consisting of 810 males and 791 females and represented a 0.2% decline from the 2006 census.

Neighbouring townlands include Carnane and Arywee to the west, Ballynagarde to the east, Parkatotaun to the north, and Loughlinstown to the south.The townland has an area of approximately 43 hectares (110 acres). It is located 14.2 km (8.8 mi) south east of Limerick city centre.Residents of Williamstown entitled to vote may do so for candidates in the Castleconnell Local Electoral Area for local elections, the Limerick County constituency for general elections, South constituency for European Parliament elections. The polling station for these elections is in nearby Caherelly National School.A four-storey tower house, known as Williamstown Castle, is located in the area.

Meanus (Irish: Méanas) is a small village and townland in County Limerick, Ireland, approximately 19km south of Limerick City. As of the 2011 census, the townland of Meanus had a population of 63 people.The village has a Catholic church, a GAA pitch (Camogue Rovers GAA), two pubs, and a community centre. The Catholic church, Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, was built between 1845 and 1846, and was renovated in 1999.The River Camogue runs close to the village. Nearby villages include Fedamore, Bruff, Athlacca, Croom, and Crecora.

Crecora (; Irish: Craobh Chomhartha, meaning 'tree of (the) sign') is a village in County Limerick, Ireland, located approximately 8 miles (13 km) from Limerick city. The small village has a school, stone yard, garden centre, GAA pitch (of Crecora/Manister GAA), post office and a Roman Catholic church. This church, Saints Peter and Paul's church, was built in 1864 and is in the parish of Mungret, Crecora and Raheen within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limerick.

Cahirnarry (also Cahernarry) was a parish in County Limerick, Republic of Ireland. It was settled in 1837 with nearly 2,000 inhabitants over nearly equal acreage covered by meadows, pastures, limestone quarries, and a bog. It had a school, church, and police station.

Carew Park F.C. is an amateur football club from Roxboro, Limerick City in Ireland. The club plays at Carew Park and fields teams in the Limerick & District League. The club colours are yellow shirts, blue shorts and blue socks. The club qualified for the 2013 FAI Cup, but did not make it past the first round.
