Chase Mills is a hamlet in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. The community is located along the Grasse River, 6.2 miles (10.0 km) east of Waddington. Chase Mills has a post office with ZIP code 13621, which opened on November 19, 1853.

Coles Creek State Park is a 1,800-acre (7.3 km2) state park located on the Saint Lawrence River on the west bank of Coles Creek. The park is in the Town of Waddington in St. Lawrence County, New York.

The Battle of Crysler's Farm, also known as the Battle of Crysler's Field, was fought on 11 November 1813, during the War of 1812 (the name Chrysler's Farm is sometimes used for the engagement, but Crysler is the proper spelling). A British and Canadian force won a victory over a US force which greatly outnumbered them. The US defeat prompted them to abandon the St. Lawrence Campaign, their major strategic effort in the autumn of 1813.

Hepburn Library is a historic library building located at Norfolk in St. Lawrence County, New York. It was designed by architects Rossiter & Muller and built in 1919–1920. It is a T-shaped, cross-gable-roofed Georgian Revival style brick building on a full, raised basement. Funding for its construction was provided by local philanthropist A. Barton Hepburn. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

First Presbyterian Church of Dailey Ridge, also known as Reformed Presbyterian Church of the Town of Potsdam, is a historic Presbyterian church located at Potsdam in St. Lawrence County, New York. It was built in 1853 and is a modest, two story wood-frame building with a painted clapboard exterior and a simple, gable front, rectangular plan typical of mid 19th century rural churches. Located adjacent is the church cemetery. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

United Church Of Madrid, formerly the First Congregational Church of Madrid, is a historic church in Madrid, St. Lawrence County, New York. The building dates from 1807. First Congregational Church and the Madrid Methodist Church decided to merge in 1974. The combined congregation is affiliated with both the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church. It worships in the former Congregational Church building. The Methodist congregation in Madrid formed in 1837 from the Canton Methodist circuit. It was originally based in Buck's Bridge, but relocated to Madrid by 1847 because many of the congregants lived in Madrid. The First Congregational Church and Parsonage were listed on the New York State Register of Historic Places and National Register of Historic Places in 2010. The church's Sunday School wing features a 17-foot (5.2 m) tall stained glass window that was created in 1918 by Harry J. Horwood, a stained-glass artist based in Ogdensburg, New York, and originally was installed in the Madrid Methodist Church. When the churches merged, the window was moved to the Congregational Church and installed in the newly built Sunday School wing. A restoration of the window was completed in 2012.

Madrid is in the northern part of the county, north of Canton. Madrid-Waddington Central School serves the town of Madrid, but outside the population center.

Madrid is the primary hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Madrid in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. At the 2020 census, it had a population of 736, out of 1,735 in the entire town of Madrid. The community is in northern St. Lawrence County, south of the center of the town of Madrid. New York State Route 310 runs through Madrid, leading northeast 20 miles (32 km) to Massena and southwest 11 miles (18 km) to Canton. State Route 345 crosses NY 310 south of the center of the hamlet. It leads north-northwest 9 miles (14 km) to Waddington on the St. Lawrence River and southeast 10 miles (16 km) to Potsdam. The Grass River, a tributary of the St. Lawrence River, flows northeastward through the center of Madrid.
