CFB Trenton

The Afghanistan Repatriation Memorial is a war memorial in Trenton, Ontario, Canada to memorialize Canadian Forces casualties in Afghanistan. The memorial was funded by a public fundraiser announced in July, 2011, and opened November 11, 2012.

The Trent River is a river in southeastern Ontario which flows from Rice Lake to empty into the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. This river is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway which leads to Georgian Bay. The river is 90 kilometres (56 mi) long. The Trent drains a large portion of south-central Ontario, including most of the Kawartha Lakes and their supplying watersheds. The river is host to numerous species of birds, amphibians and fish. Some species of fish in the river include: Smallmouth bass, Largemouth bass, Pike, Walleye, Freshwater drums, Crappie as well as other smaller fish such as Sunfish, Rock Bass and Bluegill. Located in traditional territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabek, Trent River's name in Ojibwe is both "zaagidawijiwanaang", and "Saugechewigewonk", meaning "Strong Rapids Waters".Tributaries of this river include the Crowe River and the Otonabee River, which runs through the city of Peterborough, Ontario. Trent University, located in Peterborough, is named after the region, and looked to provide university education to the area. In 2008 water soldier plant was reported found along the shore line. The plant is imported from Europe. It is a common pond plant, purchased in garden stores. It has sharp leaves and is a possible concern as the plant spreads quickly using asexual reproduction.

Bayside Secondary School is a high school in Quinte West, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board. It is one of the largest high schools by area in North America.Bayside offers grades 7-12 and is the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board site for secondary French Immersion. Trenton (2001 population 16,770) is a large unincorporated community in Central Ontario in the municipality of Quinte West, Ontario, Canada. Located on the Bay of Quinte, it is the starting point for the Trent-Severn Waterway, which continues northwest to Peterborough and eventually Port Severn on Georgian Bay.

Trenton Junction railway station (French: Gare de Trenton Junction) is an unstaffed inter-city train station at 18277B Telephone Road in Trenton, Ontario, Canada operated by Via Rail. The station is located 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) south of Ontario Highway 401 on Ontario Highway 33 and serves trains running from Toronto to Ottawa on the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor.The unstaffed station shelter is heated and has telephones and washrooms. It is opened 60 minutes prior to train arrivals at the station and remains open for 30 minutes following train departures.

Quinte West () is a city, geographically located in but administratively separated from Hastings County, in Southern Ontario, Canada. It is on the western end of the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. The Lake Ontario terminus of the Trent–Severn Waterway is in the municipality.

Batawa Ski Hill is a ski area in the municipality of Quinte West in eastern Ontario, Canada, that was established in 1959 (1959) by employees of Bata Shoes just outside the community of Batawa. The area offers lighted night skiing, a terrain park, and snowshoeing. The ski hill operates one quad Chairlift and one T-Bar.

Batawa is a small community in southeastern Ontario, Canada, in the city of Quinte West. It was set up by the Bata Shoe company as a planned community around a shoe factory, which opened in 1939 and closed in 2000.

Carrying Place is a community straddling the Quinte West and Prince Edward County border that serves as a gateway to Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Situated northwest of Picton and just south of Trenton, it was named for its location on the portage between the Bay of Quinte and Weller's Bay on Lake Ontario. The Loyalist Parkway passes through the community. Carrying Place is home to the Department of National Defence's LPH-89 antenna farm attached to CFB Trenton and located along Loyalist Parkway south of Twelve O'clock Point.

Potter Creek (French: ruisseau Potter) is a stream in the municipalities of Quinte West and Belleville in Central Ontario, Canada. It is a tributary of the Bay of Quinte and is thus in the Lake Ontario drainage basin.
