Sunshine Radio (Thailand) is a community radio station in Thailand which plays Thai adult contemporary music. It broadcasts in Pattaya, Hat Yai and Phuket. Its slogan is "Good Life, Good Music".

Walking Street (Thai: ถนนคนเดิน) is an entertainment and red-light district in the city of Pattaya, Thailand. The street is a tourist attraction which draws both foreigners and Thai nationals primarily for its night life. The Walking Street area includes seafood restaurants, live music venues, beer bars, discothèques, sports bars, go-go bars, nightclubs and hotels. Tourists are able to watch a variety of sex shows. The area is closed to vehicles from 19:00 until 03:00. Car and motorcycle parking is provided at the Bali Hai end. Although the closing time of the bars and clubs is officially 04:00, some stay open later illegally.

Sunee Plaza is an area in Pattaya known for gay nightlife. It is just off Soi V.C., which intersects Second Road in south Pattaya. It is built around two parallel streets, with a cross-linking street. All the buildings in the plaza are owned by Madame Sunee, a Thai national, and are leased to the various businesses. In the past, Sunee Plaza had been referred to as "the heart of the extreme city."; however in recent years, the Plaza hosts only a few bars. As of 2019, Most of the gay life in Pattaya has now relocated to Jomtien Complex.

Mike Shopping Mall is a chain of multi-story shopping malls on the beachfront of Pattaya, Thailand. The main mall is one of two centers named Mike Shopping Mall, both of which are owned by The Mike Group of Thailand who also own and operate several resorts and housing developments throughout the city.

Central Pattaya (Thai:เซ็นทรัลพัทยา), previously CentralFestival Pattaya Beach, is a shopping mall in Pattaya, Thailand. The mall opened in 2009 and was the first shopping mall of Central Pattaya, Thailand's largest retail corporation under the "Central Pattaya" brand. Central Pattaya is the largest beachfront shopping center in all of Southeast Asia.

The Waterfront Suites and Residence (Thai: วอเตอร์ฟรอนท์สวีทแอนด์เรสซิเดนซ์) is an unfinished and abandoned condominium located on Chalermphrakiat road in Pattaya, Chonburi province, Thailand. Standing at 53 stories high, the building began development in 2011 but was halted in 2014. The building has an area of 38,530 m2, and was designed to stand at 57 stories. The building has commonly been described as an "eyesore".

Khao Phra Tamnak (Thai: เขาพระตำหนัก, lit. 'palace hill', pronounced [pʰrá.tam.nakː] ), also called Phra Tamnak Hill, is a hill located in between Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach on the south side of Pattaya. The hill is known for its viewpoints in Chaloem Phrakiat Park; the temple Wat Phra Yai, also known as Big Buddha Hill, which is generally known for its large golden Buddha statue; and the Pattaya City sign. It has the highest natural point in Pattaya City, with its highest elevation being 98 meters above sea level.

Pattaya (Thai: พัทยา, RTGS: Phatthaya, pronounced [pʰát.tʰā.jāː] ) is a city in Eastern Thailand, the second-largest city in Chonburi province and the eighth-largest city in Thailand. It is on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Bangkok, and has a population of 328,961 as of 2021.Pattaya City (Thai: เมืองพัทยา, RTGS: Mueang Phatthaya, pronounced [mɯ̄a̯ŋ pʰát.tʰā.jāː]) is a self-governing municipal area within, but not part of, Bang Lamung district and has a population of 119,532. It covers the tambons of Nong Prue and Na Klua and parts of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. Although the municipal area is not part of Bang Lamung district, Pattaya City has grown into all adjacent sub-districts and accounts for the largest population percentage in the district, making it de facto a part of the "Pattaya-Bang Lamung-Jomtien" area, otherwise known as "Greater Pattaya". The city is in the industrial Eastern Seaboard zone, along with Si Racha, Laem Chabang, and Chonburi. Pattaya is at the center of the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Area (a conurbation in Chonburi Province with a population of 1,000,000), which forms the third largest metropolitan area in Thailand.

The 5 star hotels on the private estate are Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, Royal Cliff Beach Terrace, Royal Cliff Grand Hotel and Royal Wing Suites & Spa.

The Royal Varuna Yacht Club (RVYC) (Thai: สมาคมสโมสรราชวรุณในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์) is a yacht club near Pattaya, a popular tourist destination in Thailand. This club is named after Varuna (IAST: varuṇa), the Vedic divinity that rules the oceans.

Central Marina (Thai: เซ็นทรัล มารีน่า), formerly known as Central Center Pattaya, is a shopping mall on Pattaya Second Road in Pattaya, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, Thailand. It is the first CPN's shopping center that is located in Pattaya, another is CentralFestival Pattaya Beach. The complex has a marina theme and consists of a shopping center, supermarket, SFC Cinema, seafood market and outdoor market, with a total of 132 shops.

The Royal Jomtien Resort Hotel was a 450-room luxury hotel situated in a 17-story high-rise building on the northern end of Jomtien Beach, 110 kilometres (68 mi) south of Bangkok. At approximately 10:20 local time (03:20 GMT), 11 July 1997, a fire ignited as a result of a faulty liquid propane gas cylinder in a ground floor buffet of the hotel. The fire burned for 8 to 12 hours across all floors and caused the deaths of at least 91 people and injuries to a further 63.A National Fire Protection Association report attributed the ignition of the fire to human error by a worker who had identified faulty valve assembly on gas cylinder in a ground-floor buffet; while attempting to shut off the valve, the worker inadvertently increased the flow of gas and caused an explosion. The combustible wood and vinyl furnishings of the establishment allowed the fire to develop rapidly, as did a lack of fire separation, compartmentation and active suppression systems. As acrid smoke overcame the entire complex, several victims reportedly jumped from the higher windows to their deaths.At the time of the fire the building was 8 years old and had therefore been constructed prior to 1992 laws dictating mandatory installation of fire alarms and smoke detectors in Thai high-rise hotels. The fire prompted a review of safety standards of other high rise buildings in Chon Buri and at least 200 other buildings in the Pattaya area were found not to comply with the fire safety standards that had been violated by the Royal Jomtien Resort Hotel prior to the fire.
