Fifth Avenue Theatre was a Broadway theatre in New York City in the United States located at 31 West 28th Street and Broadway (1185 Broadway). It was demolished in 1939. Built in 1868, it was managed by Augustin Daly in the mid-1870s. In 1877, it became the first air-conditioned theatre in the world. In 1879, it presented the world premiere of The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan and the New York premiere of H.M.S. Pinafore, followed by other Gilbert and Sullivan operas throughout the 1880s. The theatre continued to present both plays and musicals through the end of the century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the theatre presented English classics and then vaudeville, and later films, as well as plays and musicals.

The Everard Baths or Everard Spa Turkish Bathhouse was a gay bathhouse at 28 West 28th Street in New York City that operated from 1888 to 1986. The venue occupied an adaptively reused church building and was the site of a deadly fire.

The Baudouine Building is a historic building at 1181-1183 Broadway at the corner of West 28th Street in the NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It was built from 1895-96 as an office tower with street level store, replacing a hotel that had previously stood on the site, and was designed by Alfred Zucker in the Classical Revival style. The building is notable for having a small Greco-Roman temple at the top, called "a little Parnassus in the sky" by chairwoman Sherida E. Paulsen of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission It has extensive decorative motifs including escutcheons of anthemions with lion heads over many windows. The Baudouine Building, which also carries the address 22 West 28th Street, lies within the Madison Square North Historic District created by the Commission in 2001.

Center for Book Arts (CBA) is a non-profit arts organization, founded in 1974. It is the first organization of its kind in the United States dedicated to contemporary interpretations of the book as an art object while preserving traditional practices of the art of the book.

Princess Theatre was a Broadway theatre located at 29th Street and Broadway in Manhattan, New York City.Built as a billiard parlor, the theatre was first named San Francisco Minstrels Music Hall in 1875, where it presented minstrel shows. After this, it was renamed several times, including Hermann's Gaiety Theatre, Jack's Theatre, Theatre Comique and Jonah Theatre. In 1902, the Shuberts leased it and renamed it the Princess Theatre.The building was demolished and made into retail shops in 1907.

Universal Hotel may refer to three different establishments of the late 19th century and early 20th century Manhattan, New York. There was a Universal Hotel at 352 Bowery. Another lodging, called Morgan's Universal Hotel, operated in New York City during the 1890s. It was located 75 Clarkson Street, currently the address of Mystique Gentleman's Club. A third establishment named Universal Hotel was located at 6th Avenue (Manhattan) and the northwest corner of 28th Street (Manhattan). It was altered in 1909, expanding to a five-story hotel and store. The alteration was performed by architect B.W. Devitan, at a cost of $15,000.

The 28th Street station is a local station on the BMT Broadway Line of the New York City Subway, located at 28th Street and Broadway in Manhattan. It is served by the R train at all times except late nights, the W train on weekdays, the N train during late nights and weekends and the Q train during late nights.

Weber and Fields' Broadway Music Hall, sometimes simplified to Weber and Fields' Music Hall, was a Broadway theatre located in Manhattan on 29th Street near the corner of 29th and Broadway going towards Sixth Avenue. It was the resident theatre of comedy duo Joe Weber and Lew Fields from 1896 through 1904; with the pair starring in numerous original high energy musical farces mounted at that theatre.

The Caspar Samler farm was a tract of land comprising the greater part of Fifth Avenue from Madison Square to 31st Street in what is now the Koreatown section of Manhattan, New York City, New York.

28th Street was a station on the demolished IRT Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two tracks and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Sixth Avenue Line. This station opened in 1892. From 1910 to 1937 it also had a connection to the 28th Street (H&M station). It closed on December 4, 1938. The next southbound stop was 23rd Street. The next northbound stop was 33rd Street.

Milk Bar makes custom wedding cakes, produces their own line of baking mixes, and ships baked goods internationally. It also conducts baking classes at their Williamsburg kitchen, the heart of Milk Bar's nine New York locations. Milk Bar has locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, Las Vegas, and Toronto.
