Loughshinny

Drumanagh (Irish Droim Meánach) is a headland near the village of Loughshinny, in the north east of Dublin, Ireland. It features an early 19th-century Martello tower and a large (200,000 m²) Iron Age promontory fort which has produced Roman artefacts. Some archaeologists have suggested the fort was a bridgehead for Roman military campaigns, while others suggest it was a Roman trading colony, or at least the site of a regular trading "fair", or a native Irish settlement that traded with Roman Britain.The site was acquired, reportedly for about €1 million, by Fingal County Council in 2017. In early 2018 they announced a Draft Conservation and Management Plan for consultation, including protection from further damage by motorbike scrambling, and integration into coastal walking paths. The purchase has raised hopes that the site will finally receive proper archaeological investigation, which will answer many of the questions that have been the subject of speculation for decades.

Kenure House (Irish: Ceann Iubhair – headland of the yew trees) was a large Georgian house and estate in Rush, County Dublin, Ireland. The main house was constructed between 1703 and 1713 by the Duke of Ormond on the grounds of an earlier house but was destroyed by fire and rebuilt around 1827. A later portico and further additions were added in 1842 to a design by George Papworth. The main house was demolished by Dublin Corporation in 1978 and the granite portico is the only portion of the main house which still stands as of 2022.

Kenure is a cricket ground in Rush, Fingal in Ireland. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1997, when Ireland Under-23s Women played New South Wales Schools Women. In 2000, the ground hosted two Women's One Day Internationals between Ireland women and Pakistan women. In 2002, the ground held a Women's One Day International between Ireland women and India women. Later in 2008, the ground held a Women's Twenty20 International between Ireland women and West Indies women, which West Indies women won by 75 runs.

Rush (Irish: Ros Eó [ˈɾˠɔsˠ oː], meaning 'peninsula of the yew trees'), officially an Ros, is a small seaside commuter town in Fingal, Ireland. It was one of the few towns of the historic County Dublin. Rush lies on the Irish Sea coast, between Skerries and Lusk, and has a small harbour. It had a population at the 2011 census of 9,231.Rush was once known as the "market garden of Ireland" for the large role market gardening played in its economy and culture. Nowadays, Rush is no longer a centre of national horticulture and has instead evolved into a growing commuter town on the northern fringes of the Greater Dublin Area.

Shenick Island or Shenick's Island (Irish: Oileán na Sionnach, meaning 'fox island') is an island that lies east of Skerries, County Dublin, Ireland. It is populated only by seals that harbour on the western side of the island and a few different species of seabirds nest there. It may be reached by boat but at low tide you can reach it by crossing a sand bank. The most prominent feature on Shenick Island is a Martello tower. It is possible to climb into this with some effort. The martello tower is relatively intact however any wooden floors are long gone. The spiral staircase is still intact and access to the tower roof is possible. The old cooking grate is still intact but the iron grate is heavily rusted. The tower is exactly 1 mile from the great windmill in Skerries and approximately 1 mile from the Monument on Strand Street and the Martello tower on Red Island. The Island had a population of four people in 1841. Shenick Island can be reached most easily at Spring Tide

St Patrick's Island (Irish: Inis Pádraig, meaning 'St Patrick's Island') is the most distant of three low-lying uninhabited islets off the headland of Skerries, County Dublin in Ireland. It is an island of low cliffs and lies about 1.5 km from the mainland, with vegetation consisting of grasses, brambles and other species such as hogweed. It is the most important of the three islands for breeding seabirds. Cormorant, shag and herring gull are the most prominent species. In 1148 the Primate Gelasius, Archbishop of Armagh and Papal Legate St. Malachy convened a synod on this island. Fifteen bishops, over two-hundred priests, and many other clergy attended with the intention of reforming the Irish church. The synod is recorded in the continuation of the Annals of the Four Masters, the Annals of Inisfallen, and the continuator of the Annals of Tigernach.

Skerries Harps is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Skerries, County Dublin, Ireland, playing Gaelic football, hurling and camogie. The club is located on the Dublin Road in Skerries with a main pitch and club house at this location. The club has just under 40 teams competing at all levels in football, hurling, camogie and ladies football. The club plays at senior level in football and camogie, intermediate level in ladies football and junior hurling. Current president is John Clinton and the club Chairman is Niall Murphy.

Skerries (Irish: Na Sceirí, meaning 'Rocky Islands') is a coastal town in Fingal, Ireland. Historically Skerries was a fishing port and later a centre of hand embroidery. These industries declined in the early 20th century, however, and it became both a resort town and a commuter town for Dublin.
