Morris Park station is a planned passenger rail station on the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line, to be located in Morris Park, Bronx. The station is planned to open in 2027 as part of the Penn Station Access project. It will be located at Morris Park Avenue adjacent to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with entrances from both sides of the tracks.

Albert Einstein College of Medicine is a research-intensive medical school located in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City. Founded in 1953, Einstein operates as an independent degree-granting institution as part of the integrated health care system, Montefiore Health System (Montefiore Medicine), which includes affiliates such as Jacobi Medical Center. Einstein ranks 13th among top U.S. medical schools for graduate success in academic medicine and biomedical research (i.e., awards, publications, grants, and clinical trials). Einstein is well rated in clinical care, and its NIH funding per investigator consistently ranks among the highest in the nation (7th among US universities in 2019).Einstein offers a M.D. program, a Ph.D. program in the biomedical sciences and clinical investigation, and two Master of Science (M.S.) degrees. Admission to Einstein is highly competitive, with one of the lowest acceptance rates among medical schools in the United States.The Einstein MSTP is one of the oldest, largest, and most distinguished MD/PhD programs in the U.S. Einstein was one of the original three MD/PhD programs to be awarded funding from the National Institutes of Health in 1964, and has received continuous funding since then. The MSTP is currently training over 100 MD/PhD students.The college is named for the world-renowned physicist and humanitarian Albert Einstein.

Bronx Psychiatric Center (BPC) is a state-operated psychiatric hospital in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. It is part of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) system and provides inpatient, outpatient and residential psychiatric services, primarily for adults with serious mental illness in Bronx County and the surrounding region. The center is located on the Bronx Behavioral Health Campus, a 436,000-square-foot complex that opened in 2015–2016 and includes a 156-bed adult psychiatric hospital, the 86-bed New York City Children's Center – Bronx Campus, and a 188-bed residential village providing transitional and supportive housing.

Westchester Square is a residential neighborhood geographically located in the eastern section of the New York City borough of the Bronx. Our Saviour Lutheran School is a private, Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, co-educational school in Morris Park, Bronx, New York City, New York, United States. The origins of its younger grades' school began in 1942, and its high school was established in 1955. It is part of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.Its class sizes are small and there is a dress code. It is an accredited member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology is a division of Yeshiva University. Along with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, it is located at the Louis E. and Doris Rousso Community Health Center on Yeshiva University’s Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus in the Bronx, New York. The Westchester Square–East Tremont Avenue station (formerly Westchester Square station) is a local station on the IRT Pelham Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of East Tremont and Westchester Avenues in Westchester Square, Bronx, it is served by the 6 train at all times except weekdays in the peak direction, when the <6> train takes over.

The Huntington Free Library is a privately endowed library near Westchester Square in the New York City borough of the Bronx, which is open to the public. It has a non-circulating book collection. The Reading Room has mostly early-20th century items. It includes a special collection of books and photographs on local Bronx history. Its general collection contains current newspapers, magazines, and reference books.

Jacobi Medical Center (NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi) is a municipal hospital operated by NYC Health + Hospitals in affiliation with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The facility is located in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City. It is named in honor of German physician Abraham Jacobi, who is regarded as the father of American pediatrics.Founded in 1955 as Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, the hospital opened concurrent with the opening of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This was the first time a medical school and municipal hospital entered into a formal affiliation agreement at the same time they were both built—and their relationship continues to this day. Jacobi is a primary clerkship site for 3rd- and 4th-year medical students from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Jacobi offers residency training programs in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Radiology. It also offers many joint residency programs with Montefiore Medical Center.Jacobi provides health care for some 1.2 million Bronx and New York City area residents. It is one of the 11 acute care hospitals of NYC Health + Hospitals and a partner in the North Bronx Healthcare Network with the North Central Bronx Hospital. As one of the largest medical facilities of NYC, Jacobi houses the Bronx's only burn unit and Level I trauma center. The hospital also houses a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and FDNY EMS Station 20 (formerly NYC*EMS Station 23). Jacobi had over 320,000 clinical visits and over 100,000 emergency department visits in 2016. Jacobi also houses the only Snakebite Treatment Center in the tri-state area.The Jacobi Hyperbaric Medicine Service provides care for both inpatient and ambulatory patients in a large facility featuring a spacious, 23-foot long chamber. This room-like chamber is one which patients and medical support staff can actually walk into. It can comfortably accommodate up to nine patients at a time. Operating around the clock, the Hyperbaric Medicine Service provides life-saving care for burn victims and smoke inhalation injuries. In addition, Jacobi is the designated New York City Referral Center for the Diver's Alert Network, providing emergency care for decompression sickness. It also treats patients suffering from gas gangrene and acute air embolism, and is widely used on an elective basis to promote wound healing from radiation injuries, compromised skin grafts, diabetic ulcers, and osteomyelitis.

The Church of St. Francis Xavier is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Archdiocese of New York, located at 1703 Lurting Avenue, Morris Park, in the Bronx. The parish has a church and school, both of which were founded by the Rev. James Edward Kearney (1884–1977), later the Bishop of Salt Lake City and Bishop of Rochester.
