Franklin Township Public Library

Villagers Theatre is a community theater located in the municipal complex of Somerset, New Jersey, United States. It was founded in 1960 and is still running today. The group has a New Playwrights Series where unpublished plays are performed.

Colonial Farms, also known as the Voorhees House, is located at 1719 Amwell Road in the Middlebush section of Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1793 by P. Metz in a Georgian style. It is part of the Middlebush Village Historic District. The oldest building in the district, it was used in 1834 to organized the Middlebush Reformed Church. The location also includes a contributing large, red shingle, 19th-century Dutch barn. It is now the Stage House Tavern.

Middlebush Reformed Church known as "the church with the red doors", is located at 1 South Middlebush Road at the corner of Amwell Road in Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. It is the fourth oldest church in Franklin Township. It was organized in 1834, and the New York Times noted their first church was built in Colonial times and was one of the landmarks of the region. The church is a contributing property of the Middlebush Village Historic District that was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 24, 2007.The church is a part of the Reformed Church in America.

The Franklin Township Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Franklin Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising 10 schools, had an enrollment of 7,150 students and 703.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.2:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

The Middlebush Village Historic District is a historic district located in the Village of Middlebush, an unincorporated community within Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 24, 2007. It includes 37 contributing buildings and three contributing sites.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,326. It is perhaps most distinguished as being the host section for Franklin Township's municipal complex. Middlebush still has a rural feel with 19th-century homes and tree-lined streets. Middlebush was once a stop on the Millstone and New Brunswick Railroad, and this legacy is evident in the street named Railroad Avenue that presently has no railroad tracks in sight.

The Wyckoff-Garretson House is a historic house located at 215 South Middlebush Road, Somerset, New Jersey which was built in 1730 by Cornelius Wyckoff. It is a contributing property of the Six Mile Run Historic District, added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1995.

Cedar Hill Prep School is a non-sectarian private school in the Somerset section of Franklin Township, New Jersey, offering an education from pre-school to grade 8. The school educates children from towns in central New Jersey including Somerset, south Bound Brook, Bridgewater Township, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, South Brunswick, South Plainfield, Edison and Piscataway.
