Geumneung station

Geumchon Station (Korean: 금촌역) is a railway station of the Gyeongui–Jungang Line in Geumchon-dong, Paju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

Paju Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Paju, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 22,000 people and opened in 2001.

Unjeong station (Korean: 운정역) is a railway station on the Gyeongui–Jungang Line in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. This station is located in Unjeong District, and the administrative district is Unjeong 4-dong. It is a separate station from GTX-A Unjeong Jungang station, located on the opposite side in Dongpae-dong (Unjeong 6-dong), and Unjeong Jungang station is located in the direction of Gyoha District.

Camp Edwards is a former United States Army installation in South Korea home to the 82nd Engineer Company, C Company 702nd Maintenance Battalion, D Company, 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd S&T Detachment and the 618th Medical Battalion (Dental). Named after Medal of Honor recipient Junior D. Edwards, the camp was closed in 2004 and its equipment was moved to Camp Casey. Following its closure, the land was purchased by Ewha Womans University. On 16 October 1989, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 296th Support Battalion, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea was located at Camp Edwards, Korea in direct support of 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. The soldiers of the battalion provided support to the units keeping watch on the Korean demilitarized zone. It was there that the Battalion earned its nickname "Frontline Support." On 16 September 1992, three years later, the 296th Forward Battalion was inactivated.

The Goyang Geumjeong Cave massacre (Korean: 고양 금정굴 민간인 학살; Hanja: 高陽衿井窟民間人虐殺; lit. Goyang Geunjeong Cave civilian massacre) was a massacre of over 153 unarmed civilians conducted between 9 October 1950 and 31 October 1950 by police in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do district of South Korea. After the victory of the Second Battle of Seoul, South Korean authorities arrested and summarily executed several individuals along with their families on suspicion of sympathizing with North Korea. The killings in Goyang coincided with the Namyangju massacre in nearby Namyangju. In 1995 the bodies of the 153 victims were excavated by their families. In June 2006 the Truth and Reconciliation Commission demanded that the South Korean government apologize and erect a monument for the victims. However, the government did not show any intention of following through on the TRCK recommendation. In 2007 the Truth and Reconciliation Commission again demanded that the government apologize, provide compensation, and erect a memorial for the victims; however, the government still refused. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission also clarified most of the victims, including 8 teenagers and 7 women, had no relation to rebels. On November 28, 2011, the Seoul central court ordered the South Korean government to apologize, pay reparations and fund a memorial to the victims' families.

Omma Poom (Korean: 엄마품동산; lit. Mother's Bosom Park) is a memorial park in Bongilcheon-ri, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is dedicated to South Koreans who were adopted abroad. "It was conceived in conjunction with Me & Korea, an organization supporting Korean adoptees in the US."

Camp Howze was a United States Army post in Bongilchon, South Korea, until it was deactivated and turned over to the South Korean Army in 2005.

Goyang National Baseball Training Stadium (Korean: 고양 국가대표 야구훈련장) is a baseball stadium in Goyang, South Korea. The stadium is used by the Goyang Dinos of the KBO Futures League. The construction started on December 8, 2009, and was finished on August 8, 2011. It is also a temporary home stadium and club training center for Goyang Dinos.It is also used as a training ground for the national baseball team of Korea. From 2012 to 2014, it was used as the home stadium of the first independent baseball team in Korea and the training ground for the club.
