Kenton Hundred

Cheswold is a town in Kent County in the U.S. state of Delaware. It is part of the Dover, Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,923 in 2020.

Delaware Airpark (FAA LID: 33N) is a public use airport serving the Dover area. It is owned by the Delaware Department of Transportation and operated by the Delaware River and Bay Authority and located one nautical mile (2 km) west of the central business district of Cheswold, a town in Kent County, Delaware, United States. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.33N is home to Delaware State University's flight training program, providing its students with year-round flying capability. Every May, Dover plays host to NASCAR racing events at the Dover International Speedway. Many race teams, drivers, and fans use Delaware Airpark because of its proximity to the track.

Bishops Corner is an unincorporated community in Kent County, Delaware, United States. Bishops Corner is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 13 and Delaware Route 42, east of Cheswold.

Delaplaine McDaniel House was a historic home and farm located at Kenton, Kent County, Delaware. The house was built about 1880, and was a two-story, three-bay, center hall plan stuccoed brick dwelling with a gable roof. Attached to each gable end were one-story flat-roofed wings. The front facade features en elaborate entrance reflective of a mix of architectural styles. Also previously on the property were a frame tenant house with attached summer kitchen, servant's quarters dwelling, a large two-story barn, and a variety of agricultural outbuildings. It was owned by Philadelphia merchant Delaplaine McDaniel, 1817-1885. The historic house and farm were demolished sometime between 2017 and April 2020 to expand the adjacent crop field. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Hoffecker-Lockwood House, also known as "Bellevue," was a historic home located at Kenton, Kent County, Delaware. The house dated to the mid-18th century, and was a two-story, three-bay, hall-and-parlor plan brick dwelling. Attached was a low, two-story, west gable brick wing built part of the original structure and served as a service wing. The interior featured Georgian-style paneling. Also on the property were a contributing kitchen, smokehouse, barn and stable.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was demolished before 1992.

Little Creek Hundred is one of two Delaware hundreds of the name, the other being Little Creek Hundred in Sussex County.

Durham-Shores House is a historic home located near Dupont Station, Kent County, Delaware. It is an L-shaped dwelling constructed in two parts. Its original plan was as a "house and garden" style dwelling a 1 1/2-half-story, two-bay dwelling containing a single finished room on the ground floor and a second room above. The original section was built about 1860. A two-story, four-bay, block built about 1910, forms the stem of the "L."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Delaware Technical Community College, Stanton Gymnasium is a 1,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Newark, Delaware on the Stanton campus of Delaware Technical Community College. It was announced as the original home to the Delaware Stars, a basketball team in the USBL, before they moved to Pratt Gymnasium.

Delaware Tech is an open admission institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The college offers two Bachelor of Science degrees, more than 100 associate degrees, diplomas, and numerous certificate programs. Of these programs, 48 are accredited degree programs with articulation agreements with 61 other higher learning institutions. It is the only community college in the state. The four-component campuses that make up the college are the Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown, Delaware, the Stanton Campus in Stanton, Delaware, the Charles L. Terry Campus in Dover, and the Orlando J. George, Jr. Campus in Wilmington, Delaware.

T. H. Denny House, also known as "Mount Pinder," is a historic home and farm located at Kenton, Kent County, Delaware. The house dates to the last quarter of the 18th century, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall plan brick dwelling. It has a gable roof and the front facade features an entrance portico added in the mid-19th century. It has a rear wing also added in the mid-19th century. Also on the property are a contributing barn, stable, and machine shed.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
