Meşher is an exhibition space on Istanbuls Istiklal Street operated by the Vehbi Koç Foundation. The name Meşher is the Ottoman Turkish word مشهر / مَشْهَرْ meaning exhibition or exhibition space. Meşher was founded in 2019 in the building that formerly housed the Arter.

Saint Mary Draperis (Italian: Santa Maria Draperis, Turkish: Meryem Ana Draperis Latin Katolik Kilisesi) is a Roman Catholic Church in Istanbul, important for historical reasons. Established in 1584, the church is one of the most ancient Roman Catholic parishes of Istanbul.

The Lebon Patisserie & Café (Turkish: Lebon Pastanesi, Beyoğlu) was a historic pastry shop and café in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey. Opened in 1810, it closed its doors in the 60's. Seeing a patent gap at the end of the 80's, two entrepreneurs named Şakir Ekinci and Abdurrahman Cengiz saw a potential and opened a Patisserie/Cafe with the same name in the 90's. This second Lebon closed its doors at the end of October 2022 due to low performance.

Surp Yerrortutyun Armenian Church (Armenian: Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցի), is an Armenian Catholic Church located in Beyoğlu Municipality, Istanbul, Turkey. The church was built at the very beginning of the 18th century by four Austrian priests. It burned in 1762 after the reconstruction, it was struck by fire again in 1831 and was rebuilt in 1836. The Church was purchased on May 25, 1857, by Armenian Catholics.The Turkish name of this temple is Surp Hovhan Vosgeperan Ermeni Katolik Kilisesi, because is it an Armenian church that belongs to the Catholic Roman Church, as opposed to the majority of the Armenian churches in the world, that are part of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Vosgeperan means Golden Mouthed in Armenian. This church is dedicated to Saint John Chrysostom, He was Archbishop of Constantinople (the original name of Istanbul), and he is considered an Early Church Father. He was a very notable preacher, famous for his eloquence and his many writings. (Hence the term Golden Mouthed). This church is located a few steps away from Taksim Square and the famous pedestrian boulevard Istiklal Caddesi. If you are not looking for it, you may miss it, since it is located behind a tall wall in a narrow street. Both the outer wall and the walls of the church are pink. Vosgeperan is not a very ornate or luxurious temple. It is rather simple and elegant, with many elements made of marble, gold and wood. The lamps, the altar and the pulpit are beautiful. When you are inside, the quiet atmosphere invites prayer and meditation.

Refik Restaurant was a tavern in Asmalı Mescit, Beyoğlu, Turkey founded by Refik Arlslan (1923–2011) in 1954. Arslan ran the Refik for almost 70 years. The restaurant remained operational for some time after Refik Arslan died in 2011. Refik was known as "one of the last remaining 'real' tavern keepers". After his death it is noted that what used to be place of community changed into a generic for-profit restaurant, losing its magic. It eventually closed down in 2020.

Pera Museum (Turkish: Pera Müzesi) is an art museum in the Tepebaşı quarter of the Beyoğlu (Pera) district in Istanbul, Turkey, at Meşrutiyet Avenue No. 65 (adjacent to İstiklal Avenue and in close proximity to Taksim Square.) It has a particular focus on Orientalism in 19th-century art.

English High School (Turkish: Beyoğlu Anadolu Lisesi), is one of the most prestigious and selective high schools in Turkey. The school is also one of the oldest foreign high schools in Turkey.

On March 9, 2004, an attack on a restaurant in the Kartal district of Istanbul, Turkey killed Hüseyin Kurugöl, a waiter in the restaurant, and injured five others. The two Islamic militants who carried out the attack, Engin Vural and Nihat Doğruel, were holding automatic weapons and had ten homemade pipe bombs strapped to their flak jackets when they entered the restaurant frequented by freemasons. Shooting the guard in his feet, they entered the dining hall and began firing at the forty people in the room. Then they detonated bombs at the entrance, killing Kurugöl. One of the militants died in the attack, the other was seriously injured. This attack occurred 911 days after the September 11 attacks. On March 11, the newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi received a statement which claimed that an al-Qaeda affiliated group, Jund al-Quds, ('Soldiers of Jerusalem'), had carried out the attack. The statement's primary purpose was to claim responsibility for the March 11, 2004 Madrid attacks. In August 2004, the trial of the suspects began. While Turkish authorities said there was likely an al-Qaeda link, the surviving bomber, Engin Vural, claimed it was an independent act he planned along with the dead bomber, Nihat Doğruel. The prosecution charged that a man named Adem Çetinkaya, who was also charged, organized the attack and was also planning to bomb a private television station.

The Palace of Venice (Italian: Palazzo di Venezia, Turkish: Venedik Sarayı) is a historic property in the Beyoğlu (formerly Pera) neighborhood of Istanbul, Turkey. Form the early 16th century to the late 1930s it has been the seat of diplomatic missions of, successively, the Republic of Venice, French Empire, Habsburg monarchy, and Kingdom of Italy to the Ottoman Empire. Following the latter's abolition in 1922 and subsequent relocation of the Italian embassy to the new capital of Ankara, the Palace of Venice has served as the Italian Consulate-General in Istanbul, as well as a residence for the ambassador when in town. The building was altered repeatedly following episodes of fire and disrepair, and the current structure mostly results from reconstruction in the 1910s. The large surrounding property also hosts the Italian school or Liceo Italiano di Istanbul, originally established in the 1880s by Austria-Hungary.

Mikla is a contemporary restaurant in Istanbul, known for its "New Anatolian Kitchen". Opened in October 2005, Mikla is on the top two floors of The Marmara Pera Hotel located in the historic Pera region, with its view of Istanbul.
