Nightengale House

The Edwin W. Marsh House is (or was) a historic house at 17 Marsh Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 1+1⁄2-story five-bay wood-frame house was built c. 1851, and had a rear ell. The Cape style cottage had vernacular Greek Revival styling, including corner pilasters. It had a bracketed entry portico that was probably added during the Italianate period (1860s-70s).The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The lot is now occupied by a multiunit townhouse (pictured).

Faith Lutheran Church, formerly known as Salem Lutheran Church, is a historic church at 199 Granite Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The church was built in 1894 to serve a growing congregation of Scandinavians who had come to Quincy to work in its granite quarries. The stones for this granite Gothic Revival church building were hauled and dressed by members of the congregation. Its only major modification since its construction has been the addition of a chapel in 1914.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

South Quincy is a neighborhood of Quincy, Massachusetts. Located in the south central portion of the city, South Quincy is bordered on the north by Quincy Center and West Quincy, on the east by Quincy Avenue and the Quincy Point neighborhood, on the south by Braintree and on the west by Interstate 93.

The John Quincy Adams Birthplace is a historic house at 141 Franklin Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is the saltbox home in which the sixth United States President, John Quincy Adams, was born in 1767. The family lived in this home during the time John Adams helped found the United States with his work on the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolutionary War. His own birthplace is only 75 feet (23 m) away, on the same property. Both houses are National Historic Landmarks, and part of Adams National Historical Park, operated by the National Park Service.

The John Adams Birthplace is a historic house at 133 Franklin Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is the saltbox home in which Founding Father and second president of the United States, John Adams, was born in 1735. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is now administered by the National Park Service as part of the Adams National Historical Park, and is open for guided tours.

The Christ Church Burial Ground is a historic cemetery at 54–60 School Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is the cemetery of the Anglican Christ Church congregation, the second to be established in colonial Massachusetts. It is the site of the congregation's first church building, completed 1727, of which only a foundation element survives. The site's oldest grave marker is dated 1737; there may be older, unmarked graves. There are about 75 marked graves.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Quincy Water Company Pumping Station was a historic pumping station at 106 Penn Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. The two-story brick Italianate building was built in 1883 to meet the demand of Quincy's growing population for water. In addition to the pumping facilities, the building house offices and an apartment for the superintendent. Its use as a pumping station was discontinued in 1899 after Quincy joined with what is now called the MWRA.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, but has since been demolished.

A statue of poet Robert Burns by Henry Hudson Kitson is installed along The Fens in Boston's Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. Between 1975 and 2019, it stood in Boston's Winthrop Square.

The Charles Marsh House was a historic house at 248 President's Lane in Quincy, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in the 1860s, and was described as one of the city's finest examples of Italianate styling. It has been demolished around 2009. Its setting was described as a "Spacious lot adjoining Robert Burns park but close to commercial Granite Street...."The house was (and remains) listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Christ Church is a historic church in Quincy, Massachusetts. It is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. The parish first congregated for lay-led services in 1689, and officially formed in 1704. It is believed to be the oldest continuously active Episcopal parish in Massachusetts. The building is a Tudor Revival structure constructed in 1874; it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The Rev. Clifford Brown is the current rector.

The Cranch School is a historic school building at 250 Whitwell Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built in 1900 to a design by local architect Arthur Wright, it is a high-quality local example of Renaissance Revival and Queen Anne architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It was converted to a condominium building in the 1980s.

The Edward J. Lennon House is a historic house at 53 Taber Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. Built c. 1888 for a local health inspector, this 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame house is a well-preserved Queen Anne cottage. Its main gable had Stick style decoration and bands of decorative shingles, and its porch was elaborate decorated, but these details have either been replaced (in the case of the porch) or obscured by the application of modern siding (see photo). The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
