Monsignor Fraser College (also called as Monsignor Fraser, MFC, or Fraser) is a Roman Catholic specialized dual-track Alternative and Adult High School run by the Toronto Catholic District School Board in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with six campuses and various programs. The school was named in honour of John Andrew Mary Fraser (1887-September 3, 1962), the founder of the Scarborough Foreign Mission Society and a missionary.

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Lutheran Church–Canada congregation in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The church was completed in 1952, it was designed by W.E. Noffke, who was a prolific architect in Canada, he designed many Lutheran church buildings across the province. It is located at the corner of Sherbourne and Bloor Street in the northeast of the city's downtown. It was founded in 1931 as a Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod congregation, the second in the city after St. John's Lutheran Church. It originally catered to German immigrants in the city, and the services were all in German until the Second World War when it was decided to switch to English. After meeting in a number of temporary sites around the city, the church purchased land at Bloor and Sherbourne in 1943 and completed the present building in 1952. Services in German resumed, and as new immigrant groups to Canada arrived services began in other languages including Latvian and Estonian in 1952 and separate Korean services in 1988.

Sherbourne is a subway station on the Bloor–Danforth line in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The station, which opened in 1966, is located west of Sherbourne Street on the south side of Bloor Street East. The station primarily serves the St. James Town neighbourhood and the southern portion of Rosedale. Wi-Fi service is available at this station. In December 2021, this station became an accessible subway station after undergoing renovations that began in August 2019.

Following the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837 Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada Sir George Arthur directed the construction of a Sherbourne Blockhouse, and a ring of six other blockhouses -- to guard the approaches to Toronto in case there was another rebellion. The Sherbourne Blockhouse was located at the northern end of Sherbourne Street, at the current intersection with Bloor, just south of the Rosedale Ravine. The blockhouses were two stories tall, and designed to accommodate up to 44 soldiers. The two stories were at 45 degrees to one another—a design intended to make it easier to observe in all directions. Construction of the blockhouses was budgeted at 330 British Pounds. They were completed in 1838. By 1850 they were staffed by a skeleton crew of former soldiers, who served as caretakers. The Spadina Blockhouse was demolished sometime before 1854. The Yonge Blockhouse was demolished in 1865. The Sherbourne Blockhouse was demolished in 1875. Numerous sketches of it have survived to the current day.

Casey House is a specialty hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that cares for people living with and at risk of HIV. They provide inpatient and outpatient services and are located in the downtown area, at the corner of Jarvis and Isabella streets. When it was founded in 1988, by a tenacious group of volunteers and renowned journalist and activist, it was the first specialized facility of its kind in Canada. It is named after Casey Frayne, whose mother June Callwood was one of the principal volunteers whose efforts brought about the founding of the hospital.

Our Lady of Lourdes is a Roman Catholic parish church in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1879 and served by the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Since 1969 it has been administered by the Society of Jesus on behalf of the Archdiocese of Toronto. It is located at 520 Sherbourne Street in Downtown Toronto. It was designed by Frederick Charles Law who modelled the church on the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo. In 1986, it was given a centennial plaque by Heritage Toronto.

The facade walls of the postmodern building are light pink, with light green roof and light green window frames.

St. George—St. David was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada that existed between 1987 and 1999 that returned Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario at Queen's Park. The riding was created before the 1987 election when the former electoral districts of St. George and St. David were merged. It was named after St. George's and St. David's wards, which had been historical names for two wards in the City of Toronto. The riding was abolished for the 1999 provincial election.

Toronto New School is an independent, not for profit secondary school in Toronto, Ontario. Toronto New School opened its doors in February 2010, offering an interdisciplinary curriculum to high school students in grades 9 through 12. The school emerged after SOLA (School of Liberal Arts) went bankrupt. The principal and vice principal of SOLA created Toronto New school. Toronto New School went bankrupt in two years.

The Keg Mansion is a former residential building that is presently used as a location for a The Keg restaurant, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building was initially known as Euclid Hall, a prominent downtown heritage building located at 515 Jarvis Street.The building was originally built in 1867 for Arthur McMaster, nephew of Canadian senator and banker, William McMaster. In 1915, the building's was bequeathed by the Massey family to Victoria College, a federated college of the University of Toronto. In 1976, The Keg repurposed the building to serve as a restaurant.

The Hambourg Conservatory of Music was a private music conservatory in Toronto, Canada, that was operated by the Hambourg family of musicians from 1911 through 1951. Established by pianist Michael Hambourg and his sons, the cellist Boris Hambourg and the violinist Jan Hambourg, the school was originally located on the Gooderham property at the northeast corner of Sherbourne and Wellesley Streets. In 1913 the school relocated to 194 Wellesley St E at the corner of Sherbourne St. At that point in time the building's attic was transformed into a recital hall.Michael Hambourg served as the school's first director until his death in 1916 when his sons succeeded him as co-directors in that role. Boris Hambourg became sole director of the conservatory in 1920 when Jan moved to Europe to pursue a career as a concert violinist. Boris's wife, the New Zealand born pianist Maria Bauchope, served as the business manager of the school. They continued in these roles until 1951 when the school closed just three years before his death.The Hambourg Conservatory of Music employed an international staff and their faculty consisted of several well known musicians. This attracted a global student population and several prominent musicians were trained at the school.

The Wellesley Hospital was a teaching hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada affiliated with the University of Toronto. It was founded by Dr. Herbert Bruce as a private hospital, but became publicly operated in 1942.
