Tribeca Grill is a New American restaurant located at 375 Greenwich Street (at Franklin Street) in Tribeca, Manhattan, in New York City, co-owned by Robert De Niro and Drew Nieporent. Celebrity investors include Bill Murray, Sean Penn, Christopher Walken, Ed Harris, and Lou Diamond Phillips, among others. It opened in 1990. The Executive Chef is Brenton Lee. The large mahogany bar in the center of the restaurant is from the former Maxwell's Plum restaurant.

177 Franklin Street is a historic six-story commercial building located on Franklin Street between Hudson and Greenwich streets in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. Originally built in 1888, 177 Franklin Street was owned by real estate investor William Grupe and designed by architect Frederick Jenth, with construction starting in 1887. The structure was originally designed as a five-story building; a sixth story was added in 1890 by architect Robert Callack.The building has a neo-Grec façade composed of a one-story base and a five-story upper section. Some surviving historic features include a pressed metal cornice, prominent brick-and-stone lintels, a brick corbel table, wood sash windows, and cast-iron piers from the Lindsay, Graff & Megquier foundry, as indicated on two clear foundry marks. The building was renovated by Michael Kirchmann of GDSNY and is the headquarters and flagship location for lifestyle retailer Shinola.

Chanterelle was a fine dining restaurant that opened in New York’s SoHo in 1979 before moving to Tribeca in 1989. The restaurant closed in 2009. David Waltuck was the chef and one of the owners. Another owner was his wife Karen.Hugh Merwin wrote that Chanterelle “changed the way NYC Restaurants did business by making good food and service less stuffy.”. Watluck won a James Beard Best Chef award. The restaurant won the Best Restaurant in America James Beard Award in 2004 and four star reviews from The New York Times in 1987 and 1993.The Watlucks wanted to offer a three star Michelin experience “in an informal contemporary American setting.” Gael Greene published “rave reviews” less than a month after the restaurant opened which was the first of many such reviews. The reviews by the Times were written by Ruth Reichl and Bryan Miller.

North Moore Street is a moderately trafficked street in TriBeCa, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It runs roughly east–west between West Broadway and West Street. Automotive traffic is westbound only.

388 Greenwich Street, originally called the Shearson Lehman Plaza and more recently the Travelers Building, is a skyscraper at 388 Greenwich Street, with frontages on North Moore and West Streets, in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. 388 Greenwich Street forms a complex with the neighboring 10-story 390 Greenwich Street near the Hudson River. Currently, the two buildings comprise the global headquarters of financial services corporation Citigroup. 388 Greenwich stands about ten blocks north of the World Trade Center site and is among TriBeCa's tallest. Like many other office buildings in Manhattan, 388 Greenwich Street contains in addition to office space, a fitness center, full-service dining facilities, a medical center, a conference center, a day care center, and an outdoor park. The building is one of the few in New York with double-deck elevators. On September 11, 2001, the building's courtyard was used as a triage center.

408 Greenwich Street is a post-modern neoclassical condominium designed and built by Morris Adjmi Architects. It is located in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The design of the building was inspired by Italian architect, Aldo Rossi. It is included in the Fifth Edition of the AIA Guide to New York City.

Duane Park is a small, triangular public urban park located in the diamond of the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The park is bordered by Hudson Street to the east and branches of Duane Street on north and south sides. It was originally laid out by Calvert Vaux.The park is supported by a non-profit group, The Friends of Duane Park, whose website contains a brief history of the park and its neighborhood.The city of New York purchased Duane Park in 1795 from Trinity Church for five dollars. The park is surrounded by beautiful, turn of the century, architecturally ornate loft buildings which were constructed during the 19th century. Duane Street, which borders the park, is named for James Duane, an important parishioner at Trinity Church.

The Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is a public community college in New York City. Founded in 1963 as part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, BMCC grants associate degrees in a wide variety of vocational, business, health, science, engineering and continuing education fields. BMCC's original campus was scattered all over midtown Manhattan, utilizing office spaces, hotel conference rooms, and various spaces throughout Manhattan. In the mid-1970s, CUNY began scouting for suitable property on which to erect a new campus of its own. The current campus has been in use since 1983.Currently, with an enrollment of over 27,000 students the BMCC student body is nearly two-thirds female and has a median age of 24, with attending students hailing from over 100 different countries. The Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development at BMCC serves more than 11,000 students who complete non-credit bearing and certificate programs in allied health, information technology and media arts, career training and personal development, English as a Second Language and other areas. Another 10,000 students are enrolled in distance education programs. BMCC has a faculty of nearly 1,000 full-time and adjunct professors.

The Partisan Defense Committee describes itself as "a class-struggle, non-sectarian legal and social defense organization that champions cases and causes in the interests of the whole of the working people." The PDC works in accordance with the political orientation of the Spartacist League. The committee organizes demonstrations and performs legal work in defense of "class struggle" prisoners. Its longest standing campaign has been in defense of Mumia Abu-Jamal. It has also organized counterdemonstrations in response to rallies planned by the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists.
