Fabryczna, Wrocław

Fabryczna (Polish pronunciation: [fabˈrɨt͡ʂna]) is a former borough of Wrocław located in the western part of the city. Before the changes in 1991, it was the largest district of Wrocław. On 21 March 1991, the newly created City Office of Wrocław assumed many of the functions previously carried out within the borough. The name, though, remained in use, mainly for statistical and administrative purposes.Fabryczna is a Polish adjective derived from the noun fabryka ('factory'), and therefore the name roughly translates as 'industrial.' It is located in the western part of the city, on the left (south) side of the Oder river.

Muchobór Wielki (Polish pronunciation: [muˈxɔbur ˈvjɛlki], German: Groß Mochbern, [ɡʁoːs ˈmɔxbɛɐ̯n]) is a district in Wrocław located in the south-western part of the city. It was established in the territory of the former Fabryczna district. Initially a village, the settlement was incorporated into Wrocław on January 1, 1951.

The Stadion Wrocław (English: Wrocław Stadium), known for sponsorship reasons as the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław since 2021, is a UEFA Category Four association football stadium built for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. The Stadium is located on aleja Śląska (English: Silesian Avenue) in the district of Fabryczna, Wrocław. It is the home stadium of the Śląsk Wrocław football team playing in the Polish Ekstraklasa. The stadium has a capacity of 45,105 spectators, all seated and all covered.The Stadion Wrocław is the largest arena in Ekstraklasa and the third largest in the country (after the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw and the Stadion Śląski in Chorzów). Stadium construction began in April 2009 and was completed in September 2011.Stadium opening took place at 10 September 2011 with boxing fight between Tomasz Adamek and Vitali Klitschko for WBC heavyweight title. The first football match, between Śląsk Wrocław and Lechia Gdańsk, was played on 28 October 2011. Śląsk won the match 1–0 and Johan Voskamp was the first goalscorer at the new stadium.

Mokronos Górny [mɔˈkrɔnɔs ˈɡurnɨ] (German: Oberhof) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kąty Wrocławskie, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. The village has a population of 432.

Strachowice is a neighborhood in Wrocław, Poland, located in the southwestern part of the city. Originally a village, it was included within the city limits of Wrocław in 1973.The Copernicus Airport Wrocław is located in Strachowice.

Ślęza (Polish: [ˈɕlɛ̃za]; German: Lohe) is a 78.6 km river in Lower Silesia, southern Poland, a left tributary of the Oder. It starts in the Niemcza Hills (Polish: Wzgórza Niemczańskie), part of the Sudeten Foreland (Przedgórze Sudeckie), and flows near Mount Ślęża through the Silesian Lowland (Nizina Śląska) and enters the Oder in Wrocław. The most important tributary is the Mała Ślęza ("Small Ślęza"). The most important towns on the river are: Niemcza, Tyniec nad Ślęzą, Jordanów Śląski and Wrocław. The name is probably derived from a Silesian word meaning "wet swampy place". In a papal bull from Hadrian IV in 1155, the river is called the Selenza. The names of the Ślęza and Mount Ślęża are both of Silesian origin, but the Ślęza is spelled with a standard z and Mount Ślęża is spelled with a ż, pronounced like an English zh.

It is Poland’s 5th busiest airport. The airport is located 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of the city centre, at Graniczna street 190. It has one runway, one passenger terminal, one cargo terminal and one general aviation terminal. Wrocław airport is also often used by Polish Air Force, US Air Force, NATO air force and Heavy Airlift Wing.

Mokronos Dolny [mɔˈkrɔnɔs ˈdɔlnɨ] (German: Niederhof) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kąty Wrocławskie, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.

Wrocław Muchobór is a railway station in Wrocław, at Traktowa Street in the Muchobór Mały housing estate located at the crossroads of the Wrocław-Szczecin and Wrocław-Guben lines. Only passenger trains towards Zielona Góra and Legnica stop at the station. It is an important railway junction where the freight ring road begins (from the north-western side). Over the course of several decades, three stations were named Muchobor or Mochbern, station in Muchobor Wielki is now Wrocław Zachodni, and Gądów is now Wrocław Gądów. Within the station, there is the Local Control Centre launched in 2011. The station is popular due to the fact that it is located in an office district, also called Mordor.In 2018, 700-999 passengers were passing through the station daily.

Smolec [ˈsmɔlɛt͡s] (German: Schmolz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kąty Wrocławskie, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.It lies approximately 12km north-east of Kąty Wrocławskie, and only 1,2 km south-west of the regional capital Wrocław, within its metropolitan area. The village has an approximate population of 5,000 including new neighbourhood site.
