Bunker Hill is a historic home at Millersville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It is a large, eclectic, frame dwelling which reflects several periods of growth. The final composition embodies the late-19th century Victorian Picturesque, A.J. Downing "cottage" style of architecture. The main block, which contains the principal entrance, was constructed about 1820 and a large two story wing was added to the rear about 1870. Later additions occurred throughout the 20th Century. Several 19th century frame outbuildings and a caretaker's house are on the site, including a smokehouse/dairy, root cellar, tool house, chicken house, slave quarters, carriage house, ice house, pumphouse, barn, and corncrib.Bunker Hill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Arundel Formation, also known as the Arundel Clay, is a clay-rich sedimentary rock formation, within the Potomac Group, found in Maryland of the United States of America. It is of Aptian age (Lower Cretaceous). This rock unit had been economically important as a source of iron ore, but is now more notable for its dinosaur fossils. It consists of clay lenses within depressions in the upper part of the Patuxent Formation that may represent oxbow swamp facies. It is named for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

The Rising Sun Inn is a historic home in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It is a mid- and late-18th-century 1+1⁄2-story frame house. The earlier section dates to about 1753 and is covered with a gable roof and features a brick gable end. In the late 18th century, a frame, one-room gambrel roof wing was added to the northwest gable end of the house. Since 1916, it has been used as the headquarters of the Ann Arundel Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.The Rising Sun Inn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Childs Residence, also known as the George Miller Residence and Millersville Store and Post Office, is a historic home and associated buildings at Millersville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The home is a c. 1840 1+1⁄2-story frame dwelling with a large 2-story frame addition built about 1852. Also on the property are a frame smokehouse/dairy built about 1840, and a c. 1920 frame store. It served as the dwelling of the first Postmaster in Millersville, and is noteworthy for having continuously served as the Post Office and community store for 130 years. It is now home to the Anne Arundel County Trails program. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

On the property are several outbuildings, including a frame summer kitchen; a stone and frame ice house; a frame, brick, and stone springhouse/dairy; a frame privy, chicken house, tool shed, and corncrib; a large, elaborate frame stable; and a frame tenant house.The Abbington Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States, serving a population of more than 564,195 per 2015 census estimates across 588 square miles (1,500 km2) of jurisdiction. Howard's Adventure is a historic slave plantation located in Gambrills, Maryland in Anne Arundel County. The historic estate was a starting point for the prominent Hammond Family of the region. The House was built by Charles Hammond after 1710. It was the home of Matthias Hammond, builder of the Hammond–Harwood House, and Colonel Rezin Hammond, builder of Burleigh Manor. The house remnants and Hammond Graveyard now site within the U.S. Naval Academy farm complex.
