Madrid Xanadú

Estadio El Soto is a stadium in Móstoles, Madrid, Spain. It is currently used for football matches and is the home stadium of CD Móstoles URJC. The stadium holds 14,000 spectators.

Arroyomolinos (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈaroʝomoˈlinos]) is a municipality of the autonomous community of Madrid in central Spain. As of 2019, it had a population of 31,396.

Móstoles-El Soto, is one of two railway stations serving the town of Móstoles in the Community of Madrid, Spain. It is situated on the Madrid-Móstoles-El Soto railway and is owned by Adif. The station currently serves as the western terminus of one of Madrid's commuter lines (Cercanías Madrid line C-5). There are plans to extend the line across the Guadarrama valley to Navalcarnero. A contract was awarded to OHL, but work has been paralysed by the financial crisis. The station which was constructed in the 1970s is in need of updating.

Villaviciosa de Odón (Spanish pronunciation: [biʎaβiˈθjosa ðe oˈðon]) is a municipality in the western zone of the Community of Madrid in Spain. The town is located 15 km west of Madrid's city center, in the western zone of the metro area. The Spanish Air Force Museum and the Universidad Europea de Madrid are located within the municipality. Villaviciosa's quiet lifestyle and its proximity to Madrid propitiated rapid and extensive development during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Because of its proximity to the Universidad Europea de Madrid, it has become a university town, with well-developed residential area and amenities for students. The town contains the Castle of Villaviciosa de Odón.

Manuela Malasaña [maˈnwe.la ma.laˈsa.ɲa] is a station on Line 12 of the Madrid Metro, named for the nearby school IES Manuela Malasaña, which is named for the Spanish heroine Manuela Malasaña (1791–1808). It is located in fare Zone B2.

The Castle of Villaviciosa de Odón is a palace-fortress complex found in the small town of the same name near Madrid, Spain. It is located on Madrid Avenue. The first construction on the site was built in the 15th century by the Counts of Chinchón. On this building, in 1496 the Marquis of Moya, Andrés Cabrera y Beatriz Fernández de Bobadilla, built the first Castle. During the Revolt of the Comuneros, the captains Diego de Heredia and Antonio de Mesa, knocked down the castle in 1521. In 1583 don Diego Fernández de Cabrera y Bobadilla, third count of Chinchón, commissioned its reconstruction from the royal architect Juan de Herrera, who made one of the towers different from the others, giving the castle a more asymmetric profile.Two centuries later, in 1738, the King Philip V of Spain bought the county and granted the title of Count of Chinchón and ownership of the castle to his son the infante Luis (half-brother of Ferdinand VI of Spain). He, in turn, commissioned Ventura Rodríguez to restore the castle and gave the locality its present name, Villaviciosa de Odón. On August 17, 1758, after the death of his wife Bárbara de Braganza, Ferdinand VI moved to the fortress where he died the following year. In 1797 María Teresa de Borbón, Countess of Chinchón, whose portrait was painted by Goya, married the prime minister Manuel Godoy, favorite of Charles IV of Spain. In 1808, having separated from the Countess, Godoy was dismissed after the Mutiny of Aranjuez, and imprisoned in this castle, which had belonged to his father-in-law.

Pradillo [pɾaˈðiʝo] is a station on Line 12 of the Madrid Metro, located near the Plaza del Pradillo ("Meadow Square") in Móstoles. It is located in fare Zone B2.

The Hospital Universitario Rey Juan Carlos is a general hospital in Móstoles, Spain, part of the Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS) network.Inaugurated on 21 March 2012, it is the second hospital in the municipality of Móstoles, after the Hospital Universitario de Móstoles. The management was allocated to Capio, a private company; this was a cause of protests at the time of the opening.

The Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de los Santos (Spanish: Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Santos) is a hermitage located in Móstoles, Spain. The building is baroque in style. The exterior shows some mudéjar influence. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1994.

Móstoles ([ˈmostoles]) is a municipality of Spain located in the Community of Madrid. With over 200,000 inhabitants, it is the region's second most populated municipality after Madrid. Móstoles was a small town for a long time, but expanded rapidly in the second half of the 20th century. The city also hosts the main campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
