Bredagh GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Down, Northern Ireland. It fields teams at all levels from U8 to Senior in Men's and Ladies Gaelic football, Hurling and Camogie. It had its previous pitch, Bredagh Park, taken off them in December 1998 but moved next door to Cherryvale Playing Fields, owned by the Belfast City Council. Bredagh is one of the few clubs in Down without a pitch to call its own but it is a flourishing and resurgent club benefiting from both a changing demographic in the Ballynafeigh area and from solid work at increased training at underage levels. In 2006, the footballers won the Down Junior Football Championship and the Hurlers won Division 3 of the Ulster Club Hurling League. In 2007 the hurlers won the Down Junior Hurling Championship and Division 2 of the All County Hurling League - both for the first time. In 2008 they won Antrim League Division 4B. At underage level they won the Division 1 (14s) and Division 2 (16s)Down Hurling Championship at U14 and U16. The U14 Hurling team also won Division 1of the county league and the Division 1 Down Feile. They were also narrowly beaten in the final of the Division 2 All-Ireland Feile in County Clare. In 2010 the hurlers won the Down Intermediate Hurling Championship for the first time along with Antrim League Division 4A. In 2011 Bredagh Won The Down Junior Football Championship Beating Dromara 4.10 To 0.09 in the final.2011 also saw Bredagh Senior Hurlers compete in the Down Senior Hurling Championship for the first time in the history of the club. In 2012 Bredagh Senior Hurlers won the Down Junior Hurling Championship for the second time after re-structuring from the Down County Board saw them drop from Senior Championship to Junior. The Senior Hurlers made history in October 2012 when they won the Ulster Junior Club Hurling Championship for the first time in the club's history beating Na Magha of Derry 4-18 to 3-07 at Casement Park. The Senior Men's Footballers gained promotion to Down Division 2 in 2012. 2016 saw the Men's Footballers and men's hurlers both win their respective Intermediate Championships. The footballers achieved victory over An Riocht in Pairc Esler and the hurlers achieving victory over Ballycran in Newcastle. Also in 2016, the ladies footballers went on to win the Senior Championship wrh a victory over Castlewellen in Downpatrick. 2017 saw the men's footballers win the Down Intermediate Football Championship.

St Joseph's College (Irish: Colaiste Naomh Iósaf) is a Catholic maintained secondary school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is located in the Ravenhill area of south Belfast.

Cregagh (from Irish an Chreagaigh 'the rocky place') is an area southeast of Belfast in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is the name of a townland and has been adopted as the name of an electoral ward of Belfast City council. The townland dates back to medieval times, when it was part of the territory held by the O'Neills of Clannaboy. The area is centred on the Cregagh Road. The Woodstock/Cregagh Road is a continuous arterial route in the city, with the Woodstock making up the lower half of the route and the Cregagh the upper half. It runs from the Albertbridge Road, close to the Short Strand, to the A55 Outer Ring road.

The A55 road forms Belfast's outer-ring road.

Castlereagh College was a further and higher education college in east Belfast. In 2007, it merged with the Belfast Institute of Further and Higher Education to form part of the Belfast Metropolitan College. The site is home to 6 buildings in total with classrooms for different disciplines.As of 2023, The Castlereagh site has been proposed for closure amid tightening budgets within the Belfast Metropolitan College, along with problems maintaining the building due to age.

Forestside Shopping Centre (better known as Forestside) is located in Newtownbreda in the southern suburbs of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The first phase of the centre, the 39,000 square feet (3,600 m2) Sainsbury's store, opened in March 1997. The popularity of the centre has exceeded expectations with traffic congestion a problem in peak trading seasons. Sainsbury's was obliged to pay for extensive roadworks on the A24/A55 junction.

Ormeau Park is the oldest municipal park in Belfast, Northern Ireland, having been officially opened to the public in 1871. It is owned and run by Belfast City Council and is one of the largest and busiest parks in the city and contains a variety of horticulture, woodland, wildlife and sporting facilities.The park is open daily from dawn to dusk. It features basketball, netball, soccer and tennis facilities, bowling greens, pavilions, car parking, cycling (and BMX track), ecotrails, horticultural displays, an orienteering course, a playground, seasonal bedding, specimen trees, and multiple walks. The park opens on to the Ormeau Road, the Ormeau Embankment, Park Road, and the Ravenhill Road. Access to Belfast city centre is available on Metro bus routes 7A - 7D.

Forster Green Hospital was a non-acute hospital located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It offered a range of services including neurology, care of older people, and a child and family centre. The hospital was located on a 47-acre site in South Belfast. It was managed by the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and closed in 2012. Located within the hospital grounds is the regional child and adolescent mental health inpatients unit, Beechcroft. This opened in 2010. Knockbreda Wellbeing and Treatment centre is also located within the grounds of Forster Green and opened in 2009. This has been described as a "one stop approach" to healthcare as it offers a wide range of healthcare services for the local community including general practice and physiotherapy.

Wellington College Belfast (better known as Wellington College or WCB) is a co-educational, grammar school located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The most recent principal is David Castles. The school was formed when, in 1989, the all-boys' Annadale Grammar School and the all-girls' Carolan Grammar School merged to become a single

Annadale Grammar School for Boys was an all-boys school located on the Annadale Embankment skirting the River Lagan in south Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 1990, Annadale Grammar School (all boys) amalgamated with Carolan Grammar School (all girls) and became known as Wellington College Belfast.

Castlereagh (from Irish An Caisleán Riabhach, meaning 'the grey castle') is a townland and former hamlet in the civil parish of Knockbreda, barony of Castlereagh Lower, in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is southeast of Belfast and now at the fringe of the city's suburbs. The townland has an area of 415 acres (168 ha).
