Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located at Fourteenth and Meridian Streets in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, and of the Archbishop of Indianapolis, most recently Archbishop Charles C. Thompson. Silas Chatard, the first Bishop of Indianapolis, established the cathedral parish in 1892, and named it after Saint Peter and Saint Paul, two apostles of Christ. The cathedral parish became known for its liturgical celebrations and sacred music performances. The architectural firm of Renwick, Aspinwall and Russell, W. L. Coulter of New York designed the Classical Revival-style cathedral, adjacent chapel, and bishop's residence (rectory). The cathedral complex was built in stages. The rectory and chapel were completed in 1892. The cathedral and a temporary facade were built between 1905 and 1907; the permanent facade was erected in 1936. The high altar of the unfinished cathedral was consecrated on December 21, 1906. William Whetten Renwick, nephew of American architect James Renwick Jr., was responsible for the cathedral project and designed its original interior decoration. The Indianapolis architectural firm of D. A. Bohlen and Son was local supervisor for construction of the chapel, rectory, and cathedral, and also designed some of the interior furnishings. August Bohlen supervised construction of the permanent facade.

The Propylaeum, also known as the John W. Schmidt House or as the Schmidt-Schaf House, is a historic home and carriage house located at 1410 North Delaware Street in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. The Propylaeum was named after the Greek word "propýlaion," meaning "gateway to higher culture." The property became the headquarters for the Indianapolis Woman's Club in 1923, as well as the host for several other social and cultural organizations. It was initially built in 1890-1891 as a private residence for John William Schmidt, president of the Indianapolis Brewing Company, and his family. Joseph C. Schaf, president of the American Brewing Company of Indianapolis, and his family were subsequent owners of the home. The Indianapolis Propylaeum association, formed in 1888 as a joint stock company of women, continues to manage the site as a gathering place and rental facility for cultural activities and private events. The three-story, Neo-Jacobean-style building is constructed of red brick with limestone trim. It sits on a full basement and has hipped roof of slate with several gables. The main features of its exterior include a wraparound verandah, square tower, and porte-cochère. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "The Propylaeum (John W. Schmidt House)" in 1973. The Indiana Historical Bureau erected a state historical marker at the site in 1999.

Vera and the Olga are two historic rowhouse blocks located at Indianapolis, Indiana. They were built in 1901, and are two-story, ten unit, red brick rows on a courtyard. Each building has a hipped roof and each unit is three bays wide. The buildings feature projecting bay windows and front porches.: 2–5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, previously known as the Benjamin Harrison Home, is the former home of the 23rd president of the United States, Benjamin Harrison. It is in the Old Northside Historic District of Indianapolis, Indiana. Harrison's 16-room house was built from 1874 to 1875. It was from the front porch of the house that Harrison instituted his famous Front Porch Campaign in the 1888 United States presidential campaign, often speaking to crowds on the street. In 1896, Harrison renovated the house and added electricity. He died there in a second-story bedroom in 1901. Today it is owned by the Arthur Jordan Foundation and operated as a museum to the former president by the Benjamin Harrison Foundation.

Old Northside is a residential neighborhood near downtown in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is bordered by 16th Street on the north, Pennsylvania Street on the west, Interstate I-65 on the south, and Bellefontaine Street on the east. The Monon Trail runs along the eastern edge of The Frank and Judy O'Bannon Old Northside Soccer Park.Old Northside was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and is home to many residences from the Victorian era.

Calvin I. Fletcher House is a historic home located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1895, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne style brick dwelling on a limestone foundation. It has an elaborate hipped roof with gabled dormers. It features an eight-sided corner tower with pointed arched windows on each side. Also on the property is a contributing carriage house.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Herron High School is a public charter school in Indianapolis, Indiana. It opened for the 2006–2007 school year. Herron is a college preparatory school, providing a classical-based education, and serves grades 9–12. It is located at 110 East 16th Street, just north of downtown Indianapolis in the building formerly occupied by Herron School of Art and Design of Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, with which it is not affiliated. Herron High School has five solids or core classes. Students are required to take all five solids throughout their entire time at Herron. The five solids are Math, English, Science, Social Studies and a foreign language. In addition, numerous other electives are offered, including advanced jazz band, Latin, French, Spanish, various performing arts, and various visual arts. Paintings by alumni and current students adorn the hallways as well.

Pierson–Griffiths House, also known as the Kemper House, is a historic home located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1873, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular, five bay frame dwelling on a low brick foundation. It has elements of Greek Revival and Second Empire style architecture. It features a full-width front porch with grouped columns and a low hipped roof with decorative cut wood cresting around the perimeter.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Wyndham is a historic apartment building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1929, and is a seven-story, four bay wide, Tudor Revival style multicolor brick building. It features a recessed central entrance with pointed limestone arch, intricately detailed oriel window at the second and third floors, and a parapet with four blind trefoil arches.: Part 3, p. 9–10 By the time the current owner, Pearl Companies, bought the building for $1.4 million in 2015, the building had deteriorated to the point that it was almost vacant. Pearl spent $5.7 million for renovations. Originally the building contained 48 apartments, which Pearl reduced to 37 to increase the floor space for each unit. The doorways for the former units, as well as other interior details, were retained.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Chadwick was a historic apartment building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1925 (1925), and was a three-story, five-bay, I-shaped, Georgian Revival style buff brick building with limestone detailing. It featured Tuscan order engaged columns at the entrance.: Part 2, p. 44–46  It was destroyed by fire in January 2011.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and delisted in 2011.

The Seville was a historic apartment building located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1921, and was a three-story, C-shaped, building on a raised basement. It featured elaborate Spanish-influenced terra cotta ornamentation and a wide overhanging stamped tin boxed cornice.: 3  It has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

H. C. S. Motor Car Company was a short-lived Indianapolis, Indiana, automobile manufacturer. It may have built as many as 3,000 cars between the summer of 1920 and 1926, when its doors were closed by its creditors.
