Belfast School of Theology

Stranmillis University College is a university college of Queen's University Belfast. The institution is located on the Stranmillis Road in Belfast. It had 1,210 students in 2019/20. The school offers the BEd, PGCE and TESOL, as well as other courses.

Queen’s Business School (QBS) is the business school of Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. It delivers undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education in business, management, economics, accounting, finance, and related fields. The school is notable for its triple crown business school accreditation and its long tradition of economics and business scholarship.

Governor's Bridge is a road bridge in Stranmillis, south Belfast. It was inaugurated on 23 September 1974. It was named after Ralph Grey, Baron Grey of Naunton, the final Governor of Northern Ireland, who left office in June 1973.The bridge forms part of a one-way system along with the neighbouring King's Bridge. Together they connect the Stranmillis and Annadale Embankments, with Governor's Bridge carrying traffic from the latter to the former.A pedestrian and cycle underpass, which opened in 2001, carries National Cycle Route 9 under the bridge on the west side. The underpass is below the waterline and a pump prevents its flooding.

The Lyric Theatre, or simply The Lyric, is the principal, full-time producing theatre in Belfast, Northern Ireland.The theatre's current Executive Producer is Jimmy Fay, previously the founder and Artistic Director of Bedrock Productions.

The Botanic Inn, affectionately known as "The Bot", is a bar/nightclub situated near Botanic Gardens in the Queen's Quarter of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Owned by the Moony Hotel Group, formerly the Botanic Inn Group as of 2016.It has been noted as an example of Victorian architecture in Northern Ireland.A writer for the Sunday Mirror in London wrote: "If I could own any bar in Belfast, purely for profit, it would be this one."

Belfast South (Irish: Béal Feirste Theas, Ulster Scots: Bilfawst Sooth) is a constituency in the Northern Ireland Assembly. The seat was first used for a Northern Ireland-only election for the Northern Ireland Assembly, 1973. It usually shares boundaries with the Belfast South UK Parliament constituency, however the boundaries of the two constituencies were slightly different from 1983 to 1986 and 2010–2011 as the Assembly boundaries had not caught up with Parliamentary boundary changes and from 1996 to 1997 when members of the Northern Ireland Forum had been elected from the newly drawn Parliamentary constituencies but the 51st Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected in 1992 under the 1983–95 constituency boundaries, was still in session. Members were then elected from the constituency to the 1975 Constitutional Convention, the 1982 Assembly, the 1996 Forum and then to the current Assembly from 1998. The constituency is formed from the Belfast City Council districts of Balmoral and Botanic as well as one ward from Titanic and a number of wards from Lisnasharragh and Lisburn and Castlereagh. Friar's Bush Graveyard is Belfast's oldest Christian burial site, located on the Stranmillis Road in South Belfast.

The Ulster Museum, located in the Botanic Gardens in Belfast, has around 8,000 square metres (90,000 sq. ft.) of public display space, featuring material from the collections of fine art and applied art, archaeology, ethnography, treasures from the Spanish Armada, local history, numismatics, industrial archaeology, botany, zoology and geology. It is the largest museum in Northern Ireland, and one of the components of National Museums Northern Ireland.

The Malone Road (from Irish Maigh Lón 'plain of lambs') is a radial road in Belfast, Northern Ireland, leading from the university quarter southwards to the affluent suburbs of Malone and Upper Malone, each a separate electoral ward. The road runs parallel to the Lisburn Road and is linked by over a dozen side streets, while at its northern end, the Stranmillis Road rejoins the Malone Road to form University Road, which in turn joins with the Lisburn Road to become Bradbury Place. Most of the road is in the BT9 postcode district. At the southern end of the Malone Road lies Malone House, a mansion in the late Georgian style. The house is now maintained by Belfast City Council.The residential streets leading off the Malone Road and Upper Malone Road are known for their high property prices, and the area is therefore a byword in Northern Ireland for affluence.

King's Bridge is a road bridge across the River Lagan in South Belfast, Northern Ireland. It opened in 1912 and is named after King George V. Made of reinforced concrete, it is believed to be the first road bridge of this type in Ireland.The bridge forms part of a one-way system along with the neighbouring Governor's Bridge. Together they connect the Stranmillis and Annadale Embankments, with King's Bridge carrying traffic from the former to the latter.

Botanic Gardens is a public garden in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Occupying 28 acres (110,000 m2) of south Belfast, the gardens are popular with office workers, students and tourists. They are located on Stranmillis Road in Queen's Quarter, with Queen's University nearby. The Ulster Museum is located at the main entrance.

Laganbank was one of the nine district electoral areas in Belfast, Northern Ireland which existed from 1985 to 2014. Located in the south of the city, the district elected five members to Belfast City Council and contained the wards of Ballynafeigh, Botanic, Shaftesbury, Stranmillis, and Rosetta. Laganbank, along with neighbouring Balmoral, formed the greater part of the Belfast South constituencies for the Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament. The district was bound to the west by the Malone Road and the M1 Motorway, to the south by the River Lagan and the southern section of the Annadale Embankment, to the east by the Ormeau Park and the Ormeau Road and to the north by College Square North and the Cathedral Quarter. The River Lagan, which gave the district its name, flowed through the centre of the district dividing it in two, with Botanic, Shaftesbury and Stranmillis on the western bank and Ballynafeigh and Rosetta on the eastern bank. Laganbank also contained most of the city centre, including Donegall Square. The south of the district contained some of the most exclusive addresses in Northern Ireland, particularly along the Malone Road. However, the north of the district has areas that suffer economic deprivation, including Donegall Road, Sandy Row and 'the Markets'.
