Otradnoye (Moscow Metro)

Otradnoye District (Russian: райо́н Отра́дное) is an administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 10.16 square kilometers (3.92 sq mi).

Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology (MITT; Russian: Акционерное общество «Корпорация Московский институт теплотехники», lit. 'JSC Corporation "Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology"') is a Russian (formerly Soviet) engineering and scientific research institute founded on May 13, 1946. The institute is located in the Otradnoye District in the north of Moscow. Previously, it was primarily focused on developing ballistic missiles and rockets to increase the nation's strategic deterrent capability. Today, it is also involved in civilian projects and has modified some of its intercontinental ballistic missiles into launch vehicles to be used for satellites. The name can also be translated as Moscow Institute of Thermal Equipment.

On February 3, 2014, 15-year-old high school student Sergey Gordeyev (Russian: Сергей Гордеев; also spelled Sergei Gordeev) opened fire at School No. 263 in Otradnoye District, Moscow, Russia, killing a teacher. Gordeyev then took 29 students hostage, killed one police officer, and injured another. Later on, he surrendered to the authorities. It is the second reported school shooting in Russia's modern history.

School No. 263 (Russian: средняя школа № 263) is located in Otradnoye District, North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow and has high school-level students.The 2014 Moscow school shooting occurred there on February 3, 2014.

The Tubden Shedubling (Russian: Тубден Шедублинг, Standard Tibetan: ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཆོས་འགྲུབ་གླིང) is a Buddhist temple complex in Otradnoye District, Moscow, and the first in the Russian capital.

Vladykino (Russian: Владыкино) is a station on the Little Ring of the Moscow Railway located at Otradnoye District and Marfino District, North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow. The station is served by Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro.

Bibirevo (Russian: Бибирево) is a station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened in 1992, and until the extension to Altufyevo was the terminus of the line. The station is a pylon-trivault, but the columns are cylindrical rather than the rectangular shape found on other similar stations.

Vladykino (Russian: Владыкино) is a station on the Serpukhovsko–Timiryazevskaya line of the Moscow Metro. The station provides transfer to Vladykino station on the Moscow Central Circle.

The Tsitsin Main Moscow Botanical Garden of Academy of Sciences was founded in April 1945, and claims itself to be the largest botanical garden in Europe. It covers a territory of approximately 3.61 km², bordering the VDNKH Exhibition Center, and contains a live exhibition of more than twenty thousand different species of plants coming from various parts of the world. The garden also has a scientific research laboratory and contains a rosarium with twenty thousand rose bushes, a dendrarium (arboretum), an oak forest with the average age of the trees exceeding 100 years, a Japanese garden and a greenhouse of more than 5000 square meters.

Sviblovo District (Russian: район Свиблово) is an administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 4.41 square kilometers (1.70 sq mi).

Bibirevo District (Russian: район Бибирево) is an administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug near Moscow Ring Road, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 6.45 square kilometers (2.49 sq mi).
