Methodist Hospital is one of three major facilities comprising the Nebraska Methodist Health System. The hospital is located at 8303 Dodge St. in Omaha, Nebraska.With more than 2,000 full-time employees and over 400 physicians on active staff, Methodist Hospital provides cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, women's services, cancer care, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and comprehensive diagnostic services.Nebraska Methodist Hospital admits approximately 22,000 patients every year. It was the first hospital in Nebraska to earn Magnet designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

The Indian Hills Theater in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, was a movie theater built in 1962 showcasing films in the Cinerama wide-screen format. Its location was at 8601 West Dodge Rd. The theater's screen was the largest of its type in the United States. Despite the protests of local citizens, Hollywood legends, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the theater was demolished in 2001 by Nebraska Methodist Health System for a parking lot.

Peony Park was an amusement park located at North 78th and Cass Streets in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1919, over the next seventy-five years the 35-acre (140,000 m2) park included a 4.5-acre (18,000 m2) pool, beach and waterslide, a ballroom that billed itself as "1 acre under one roof," an open-air dance area for 3000 dancers, amusement rides, and various sundries. The park closed in 1994. Throughout its existence the park maintained its status as Nebraska's largest amusement park.

The NP Dodge Company This story begins with one of the greatest brother acts ever seen in these parts – Grenville and Nathan Phillips Dodge. What a trail they blazed when they left Massachusetts, one in 1853 and the other in 1854, to homestead in Douglas County, followed by their parents and sister a few years later. The duo founded a land office in 1855. Grenville went on to serve as a general in the Civil War and help found the Union Pacific Railroad. N.P. stayed in the land-sale business and built the foundation for what is now America’s longest running, family-owned, full-service real estate firm and one of Omaha’s signature businesses, the NP Dodge Company. The birth of the Company, in a tiny office in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is part of the birth of the metro area and the American West. The Dodge brothers surveyed land in Nebraska and Iowa and represented eastern investors interested in purchasing real estate as new territories opened up to a growing and land-hungry nation.

Crossroads Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, at the intersection of 72nd and Dodge Streets. Originally opened in 1960 by Omaha's Brandeis department store, the mall has been home to several major chains, including Sears, Target and Dillard's before the store closed in 2008. The mall is now demolished, and is expected to be redeveloped as a mixed-use center, called The Crossroads, in 2024.

Creighton Preparatory School (simply referred to as Creighton Prep or Prep) is a private, Jesuit high school for boys in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was established in 1878 under the name Creighton College and is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. Creighton College was founded by John A. Creighton and named after Edward Creighton, developer of the transcontinental telegraph line. It was founded from a $100,000 grant and donated to the Catholic Church, leading to its inception as a Jesuit institution. Creighton College separated into Creighton University and Creighton Preparatory School in 1958. Over the 142 years since its founding, Creighton Prep has grown from an initial class of 120 students to a student body of 1021 individuals (2016). Creighton Prep holds a rivalry with Westside High school in Omaha, NE and is the recipient of nearly 200 individual State Championship and All State Championship titles. Creighton Prep has received the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award for Academic Excellence and has its education programs are grounded in Jesuit Philosophies. Creighton Prep offers 20 AP courses, 23 honors courses and 24 dual enrollment classes partnering with both University of Nebraska Omaha and Creighton University, and admittance is dependent on an annually held entrance exam. Creighton Prep was used as a site for the filming of Downsizing, a 2017 American science fiction comedy-drama film directed by Alexander Payne.

Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy (formerly known as Creighton University Medical Center-Saint Joseph Hospital) is a hospital located in Central Omaha, Nebraska in the United States. On April 24, 2012, CUMC signed an agreement to be part of the Alegent Health System (now CHI Health) during the summer of 2012. The CUMC-Saint Joseph Hospital closed June 9, 2017 while simultaneously the academic medical center and trauma services opened at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy. The building has been remodeled into apartments by NuStyle Development, and opened in June 2018. The apartment complex is now called "The Atlas".
