St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin

St. Nicholas Without is a former Church of Ireland parish church in Dublin, Ireland. For several hundred years the north transept of St. Patrick's Cathedral formed the church, with a wall separating it from the cathedral.

St. Bride's Church was a Church of Ireland church located in Bride St., Dublin, Ireland. It was closed in 1898 and demolished to make way for social housing.

The medieval University of Dublin (Latin: Universitas Dubliniensis) was an early unsuccessful attempt to establish a university in Dublin, the capital city of the Lordship of Ireland. Founded in 1320, it maintained an intermittent existence for the next two centuries, but it never flourished, and disappeared for good at the Reformation in Ireland (1534–41). It was located in St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. It had no connection with the present University of Dublin, better known as Trinity College Dublin, which was founded in 1592.

Marsh's Library, situated in St. Patrick's Close, adjacent to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, Ireland is a well-preserved library of the late Renaissance and early Enlightenment. When it opened to the public in 1707 it was the first public library in Ireland. It was built to the order of Archbishop Narcissus Marsh and has a collection of over 25,000 books and 300 manuscripts.

Liberties College is an educational institution in Bull Alley Street, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. It offers further education courses, including Post Leaving Certificate courses. The college is housed in an Edwardian building, described in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage record as displaying elements of the "free Queen Anne idiom" and the "Flemish Renaissance" style.The courses offered include Counselling, Health Care, Montessori Education, Social Studies, Tourism, and Information Technology. At Liberties College many students avail of Back to Education and Training Support, via the BEA and VTOS schemes.Liberties College is under supervision of the CDETB/City of Dublin Education and Training Board umbrella body.

The Iveagh Trust is a provider of affordable housing in and around Dublin, Ireland. It was initially a component of the Guinness Trust, founded in 1890 by Edward Cecil Guinness, 1st Earl of Iveagh, great-grandson of the founder of the Guinness Brewery, to help homeless people in Dublin and London. It is not otherwise related to the brewery company.

Plunket Street Meeting House, was the site of two churches, first a Presbyterian Church, then an independent reformed faith evangelical church on Plunket Street (now John Dillon Street and Thomas Davis Street), Dublin. It was situated between Patrick's St. and Francis St.

The National Archives of Ireland (Irish: Cartlann Náisiúnta na hÉireann) is the official repository for the state records of Ireland. Established by the National Archives Act 1986, taking over the functions of the State Paper Office (founded 1702) and the Public Record Office of Ireland (founded 1867). In 1991, the National Archives moved to its current premises in Bishop Street, Dublin. The Archives stand on the site of the Jacob's Factory, one of the garrisons held by rebels during the 1916 Easter Rising. The National Archives of Ireland cites their mission statement as, "Securing the preservation of records relating to Ireland which warrant preservation as archives and ensure that appropriate arrangements are made for public access to archives." They hold records relating to all of Ireland, including documents that refer to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland; although Northern Ireland does have their own archives which is titled the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland.

The Cabbage Garden (Irish: Garraí an Chabáiste) is a former burial ground off Upper Kevin St. in Dublin's south inner city.

The Werburgh Street Theatre, also the Saint Werbrugh Street Theatre or the New Theatre, was a seventeenth-century theatre in Dublin, Ireland. Scholars and historians of the subject generally identify it as the "first custom-built theatre in the city," "the only pre-Restoration playhouse outside London," and the first Dublin theatre.

The Church of St Nicholas of Myra (Without) is a Roman Catholic church on Francis Street, Dublin that is still in use today. The site has been used as a place of worship as far back as the 12th century. The current church was built in 1829 and dedicated to Saint Nicholas in 1835.

Golden Lane (Irish: Lána an Óir) is a street on the Southside of Dublin city. It runs from Bride Street in the west to Longford Street and Stephen Street in the east. It is intersected by Ship Street, Whitefriar Street and Chancery Lane. It is one of the oldest streets in Dublin outside of the city gates and walls and dates from at least 1466. It was originally named Cross Lane, and is shown as such on John Speed's map of Dublin of 1610. This changed around the time the Goldsmith's Guild moved to Goldsmith's Hall at 22 Golden Lane in 1812 however the Golden Heart pub was also located on the street in the 18th century as well as a number of other goldsmiths. From 1709 to 1812 Goldsmith's Hall was located on nearby Werburgh Street. As of 2023, none of the original pre-20th century buildings remain on the street above ground level.
