Smålands Nation is one of thirteen student nations of Lund University in southern Sweden. The name comes from the historical province of Småland. It was one of the first nations formed after the foundation of the university, but has periodically been merged with other smaller nations due to low membership counts. Smålands Nation is distinguished among Lund's nations as it is the only politically aligned nation, becoming officially socialist in 1972. It is due to its political nature that it is the only nation without membership in the various student bodies linking the other twelve nations together, such as the Academic Association and Kuratorskollegiet. The nation considers itself to be politically aware, striving for equality between the sexes, protesting against pollution of the environment and other focusing on other criticisms of modern society. The nation holds a weekly feminist cafe, Ronja, a forum for gender and LGBT issues. If food is served, it is commonly vegan. The pub is open on Wednesdays and live bands, often from Gothenburg, perform onstage. Clubs are held on Saturdays and feature primarily electronic music.

Lund Municipality (Swedish: Lunds kommun) is a municipality in Scania County, southern Sweden. Its seat is the city of Lund. As most municipalities in Sweden, the territory of municipality consists of many former local government units, united in a series of amalgamations. The number of original entities (as of 1863) is 22. At the time of the nationwide municipal reform of 1952 the number had been reduced to six. In 1967 the rural municipality Torn (itself created in 1952) was added to Lund. The City of Lund was made a unitary municipality in 1971 and amalgamated with Dalby, Genarp, Södra Sandby and Veberöd in 1974 completing the process. Since 2016, the municipality is subdivided into 16 districts for the purposes of population and land registration. Dalby Söderskog, one of Sweden's national parks, is located within the municipality near Dalby. Municipal bird of Lund is Eurasian penduline tit.

Sjöbo Municipality (Sjöbo kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Sjöbo. The present municipality was created in 1974 when the former market town (köping) Sjöbo was amalgamated with the surrounding rural municipalities. There are fifteen original entities within today's municipality.

Spyken is an upper secondary school (gymnasieskola) in Lund, Sweden. The students are sometimes referred to as spykister (spykists) or, by some, spykopater (spychopaths).

The Regional Archives in Lund, Landsarkivet i Lund, is located in Lund and is one of the Regional Archives in Sweden, responsible for keeping records of local and regional government authorities in the historical provinces Scania, Blekinge and Halland, with exception of Malmö which is handled by the Malmö City Archives. The archive was established in 1903 in a brick building drawn by Carl Möller in what was then the outskirts of Lund. A large extension to this building was made in 1971, drawn by Berndt Nyberg. Later on the Regional Archives needed new space teamed up with several other archives in the region and built a new archive facility called Arkivcentrum Syd on Gastelyckan in south-eastern Lund. The first landsarkivarie (regional archivist) was Lauritz Weibull, who served until he was appointed professor at Lund University in 1919. He was then succeeded by one of his brothers, Carl Gustaf Weibull, who held the position until 1946.

Lunds nation is one of thirteen student nations of Lund University, Sweden. With its 3,409 members, Lunds is the fourth-largest nation in Lund.

Botaniska trädgården (English: The Botanical Garden) is a botanical garden in central Lund, Sweden, open to the public daily without charge. The 8 hectares site contains 7000 species of plants, of which 2000 are found in the greenhouses representing nine different climate zones. It is owned and operated by Lund University. Its international identification code is LD.

Kulturen (Swedish: [kɵlˈtʉ̌ːrɛn]) is an open air museum in Lund in Lund, Sweden. Occupying two blocks in central Lund, Kulturen is Sweden's and the world's second oldest open-air museum after Skansen in Stockholm. It contains historic buildings, dating from the Middle Ages to the 1930s, set in gardens or cobblestone streets. The complete name of the museum is Kulturhistoriska föreningen för södra Sverige.

Lund (, US also LU(U)ND, Swedish: [ˈlɵnːd] ) is a city in the southern Swedish province of Scania, across the Öresund strait from Copenhagen. The town had 91,940 inhabitants out of a municipal total of 121,510 as of 2018. It is the seat of Lund Municipality, Scania County. The Öresund Region, which includes Lund, is home to more than 4.1 million people.Archeologists date the foundation of Lund to around 990, when Scania was part of Denmark. From 1103 it was the seat of the Catholic Metropolitan Archdiocese of Lund, and the towering Lund Cathedral, built c. 1090–1145, still stands at the centre of the town. Denmark ceded the city to Sweden in the Treaty of Roskilde in 1658, and its status as part of Sweden was formalised in 1720. Lund University, established in 1666, is one of Scandinavia's oldest and largest institutions for education and research. The university and its buildings dominate much of the centre of the city, and have led to Lund becoming a regional centre for high tech industry.

The Dalby Runestone, previously called the Sjöstorp Stone, DR 298, is a runestone from Dalby in Scania, Sweden. Today, the stone is located outside the Kulturen museum in Lund. The stone was carved during the Viking Age, and is made of granite. The style, with straight, vertical bands of runes, is called RAK.

The Skårby Runestones are two Viking Age memorial runestones originally located in Skårby, which is about ten kilometers northwest of Ystad, Scania, Sweden.

Stäket is one of the oldest buildings remaining in Lund. It currently serves as a restaurant, which is also called “Stäket”.
