Celiny [t͡sɛˈlinɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bodzentyn, within Kielce County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Bodzentyn and 24 km (15 mi) east of the regional capital Kielce.

Bodzentyn Castle (Polish: Zamek w Bodzentynie) is a ruined castle in Bodzentyn, Poland. It was built in the second half of the fourteenth century.

Gmina Bodzentyn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Kielce County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Bodzentyn, which lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of the regional capital Kielce. The gmina covers an area of 160.32 square kilometres (61.9 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 11,677, of which the population of Bodzentyn is 2,241, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 9,436. It is known for a unique version of kapusta that includes sheep intestine and kohlrabi. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Sieradowice Landscape Park.

Bodzentyn belongs to Lesser Poland, and was granted town charter in 1355. The town lies in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, here main office of the Świętokrzyski National Park is located.

Łysogóry is the largest mountain range in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains of central Poland. It is 25 km long, and runs from the Lubrzanka river in the northwest, to the area of Nowa Słupia in the southeast. It contains the highest peak of the Świetokrzyskie Mountains (Łysica) and its most famous mountain (Łysa Góra).Łysogóry can be divided into two parts: eastern half, densely covered by the Jodlowa Wilderness (Puszcza Jodlowa), which contains both highest peaks of the range, and it lies within boundaries of Swietokrzyski National Park, western half, less forested and with smaller peaks.Łysogóry is mostly made of quartzite, with numerous stone runs. The range is crossed by several tourist trail - red trail of Edmund Massalski, and two blue trails.

Łysica [ˈwɨˈɕit͡sa] is the highest mountain in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains of Poland. Its height is 614 metres (2,014 ft). It is located in the Świętokrzyski National Park and there is an abbey below it, on a site that might have been a pagan temple before the times of baptism of Poland. Łysica, which is also called Gora Swietej Katarzyny (St. Catherine's Mountain) lies in western part of the Lysogory range, near the village of Swieta Katarzyna. It belongs to the so-called Crown of Polish Mountains (“Korona Gor Polskich”), as it is the highest mountain of Holy Cross Mountains. Łysica has two peaks - western (613 m) and Eastern (Agatha's rock, pol. Skała Agaty) - 614 m)). The mountain is made of quartzite and slate, its northern and southern slopes are marked by the stone run. Furthermore, on the southern slope, at the height of 590 meters, there is a small bog. Most of Łysica is covered by a forest, near the peak there are fir trees, below which are beeches. Łysica is inhabited by birds of prey, such as the lesser spotted eagle, the Eurasian sparrowhawk, and the Eurasian hobby.

The Świętokrzyskie Mountains (Polish: Góry Świętokrzyskie, IPA: [ˈɡurɨ ɕfjɛntɔˈkʂɨskʲɛ] ), often anglicized to Holy Cross Mountains, are a mountain range in central Poland, near the city of Kielce. The mountain range comprises several lesser ranges, the highest of which is Łysogóry (literally "Bald Mountains"). The two highest peaks are Łysica, 614 m (2014.44 ft), and Łysa Góra, 594 m (1948.81 ft). Together with the Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska and some other regions, the mountains form a region called the Lesser-Poland Upland (Wyżyna Małopolska). Geologically speaking, the Holy Cross Mountains possess also a margin which extends further than the mountains themselves; the Owadów–Brzezinki palaeontological site is situated in the margin of the Holy Cross Mountains, but not in the mountains themselves. They cover an area of 1684 km2 (650 mi2). The approximate location is 50°53′N 20°55′E.
