Spurveskjul is Nicolai Abildgaard's former country house in Virum north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Frederiksdal is a country house on the Furesø Lake north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The estate includes the earliest example of a maison de plaisance in Denmark, and covers 328 hectares of land of which circa 200 hectares are forest.The estate dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was an ecclesiastical property known as Hjortholm within the Ancient Diocese of Roskilde. After the reformation, it became a possession of the Danish crown and saw industrial use during the 17th century. Frederiksdal was acquired by the Schulin family in 1743 and has remained in the family since. It is currently owned by the eighth generation of the Schulin family.

Virum station is a station on the Hillerød radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. It serves the neighbourhood of Virum north of Lyngby. The station is served by E trains.

Christianelyst is a listed house situated on the northern shore of Bagsværd Lake in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Neoclassical property consists of a main wing and two side wings surrounding three sides of a courtyard which is open to the north. The garden to the south of the house slopes down towards the lake.

Sophienholm is a former manor house and exhibition venue located north on the shore of Lake Bagsværd in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality in the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark.The main building was originally a country home built in 1769 by Johan Theodor Holmskiold who named the house after his wife Sophie Holmskjold. Its next owner, Constantin Brun, had it completely rebuilt at the turn of the 19th century into its present appearance, and it became a lively cultural venue during the Danish Golden Age when his wife, the writer and salonist Friederike Brun, played host to many prominent Danish and foreign cultural figures of the time.

Marienborg, a mid 18th-century country house perched on a small hilltop on the northern shore of Bagsværd Lake, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of downtown Copenhagen, has served as the official residence of Denmark's prime minister since 1962. It is frequently used for governmental conferences, summits and other official purposes, including the prime minister's new year speech. Unlike the residences of many other heads of government and state (e.g. the White House, 10 Downing Street, La Moncloa and Élysée Palace), Marienborg does not serve as the government headquarters or contain the office of the prime minister. The Prime Minister's Office is instead located in Christiansborg on Slotsholmen in downtown Copenhagen. Marienborg was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1964.

Holte station is the railway station in Holte near Copenhagen, Denmark. It is served by S-trains on the Hillerød radial. The station is also served by nine bus routes, providing connections to all nearby towns and villages.

Tusculum (Nybrovej 375) is an 18th-century house situated on the north side of Bagsværd Lake, close to Marienborg and Sophienholm, Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, some 10 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark.

Lake Bagsværd is a lake in northeastern Zealand, Denmark. After Furesø, it is the second largest lake in the Mølleå system. The lake is an appendix to the Mølleåen via Furå further on to Lyngby Lake. The water quality in the lake is not suited for swimming as the lake still receives spillover from three outlets from the public sewer system. The sewer pollution is worsened by the fact that the water in the lake stays in the lake for several years. The lake receives very small amounts of clean water from the surrounding areas. Mostly because of very intensive fresh water pumping from nearby wells. Bagsværd is the site of various international rowing, sailing, kayaking and windsurfing competitions. In the summer with its numerous beaches and only 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of Copenhagen, it is a site of relaxation for the Danish people. A small part of the westernmost area of the lake has always been a part of Værløse Municipality and after its merger with Farum Municipality on 1 January 2007 is now a part of Furesø Municipality. Bagsværd is the adjacent suburb.

Aldershvile slotspark is a public park in Bagsværd, Gladsaxe Municipality, situated on the south side of Bagsværd Lake in the northwestern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally laid out as the Romantic gardens of a country house, Aldershvile, the park still contains the ruins of the main building, which was destroyed in a fire in 1909.

Frederikslund is a former country house now located in the middle of a neighbourhood of single-family detached homes at Frederikslundsvej 21 in Holte, Rudersdal Municipality. some 20 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was completed in 1803 to a Neoclassical design by Joseph-Jacques Ramée. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1978. Frederikslund Skov, a small woodland between Furesø and the Hillerød rail line, takes its name after the property..

Søllerød Town Hall (Danish: Søllerød Rådhus), now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in Holte some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.
