The Museum of Pizza was a pop-up exhibition, or "selfie museum", of pizza-themed art that took place in Brooklyn, New York, from October 13 to November 16, 2018. The Museum of Pizza, otherwise known as MoPi, hosted over 25,000 people in its six-week run. The Museum of Pizza featured artwork by over 25 different artists, including large-scale pizza-inspired custom installations by Adam Green, Shawna-x, Signe Pierce and Emma Stern, Gazoo To The Moon, and more. A group show titled "The Psychedelic Pizza Parlor" was curated by RJ Supa of Yours, Mine, and Ours Gallery (located in downtown Manhattan) and featured work from Sarah Bahbah, Hein Kohn, Adam Parker Smith. Andrew W.K.'s custom pizza guitar was also on display. The Museum also displayed 70 pizza boxes from Scott Wiener's Guinness World Record holding pizza box collection.The Museum of Pizza was produced by Brooklyn-based media company Nameless Network. Kareem Rahma was inspired by a cave system in Lebanon, which served as the inspiration for the Museum's "Cheese Cave" exhibit.A preview party was held at the New Museum.

Bushwick Inlet Park is a public park in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. The park currently stretches along the East River between North 9th and 12th Streets, and is eventually planned to reach into Greenpoint at Quay Street. The park is named for Bushwick Inlet, which will be in a future northern extension. Bushwick Inlet was originally a creek named Bushwick Creek, which was fed by two tributaries in Williamsburg. The site of the present-day park was used by manufacturing businesses in the mid-19th century, especially the Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal. By the late 19th century, Bushwick Creek had been used as a sewage outflow from the surrounding area. The creek itself was infilled through various stages, and the infill operations were completed by 1913. Plans for Bushwick Inlet Park were devised in 2005, during the rezoning of a 175-block area in Greenpoint and Williamsburg. However, acquisition of the land took several years and cost tens of millions of dollars. The city was able to complete the purchase of the land for the proposed park in 2016, after years of negotiations. The only parts of the park that are open to the public are a series of soccer and football fields, which opened in 2010, and a community center, opened in 2013. The community center, which also houses offices for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, includes features intended to be environmentally sustainable, such as a sloping green roof, solar panels, and geothermal heating.

The Bedford Avenue station is a station on the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and North Seventh Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, it is served by the L train at all times. With an annual total of 9,388,289 passengers for 2015, Bedford Avenue is the busiest subway station in Brooklyn outside of Downtown Brooklyn, as well as the busiest station in Brooklyn served by one subway service.

The Isle of Skye is a Scottish pub located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in New York City, United States, which officially opened on April 5, 2013 with Steve Owen and Scott Cook as owners. The name derives from the Hebridean Isle of Skye in Scotland.

Greenpoint was the terminal train station for the Evergreen Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. Greenpoint station opened on May 15, 1879 and was located at the intersection of Quay Street and Franklin Street at Greenpoint. A ferry connected with trains at the station operating across the East River to 23 Street in Manhattan. Greenpoint had one island platform. The station closed on September 28, 1885.

Marsha P. Johnson State Park (formerly and also known as East River State Park) is an 11-acre (4.5 ha) state park in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The park stretches along the East River near North 7th, 8th, and 9th Streets, with views of the Williamsburg Bridge and Midtown Manhattan. East River State Park opened in 2007 on the site of the Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal. The park was renamed in honor of gay rights activist Marsha P. Johnson in 2020, becoming the first New York state park to be named after an LGBTQ person.

National Sawdust is a nonprofit music producer and venue in Brooklyn, New York with the goal of providing "composers and musicians across genres... a setting where they are given unprecedented support and critical resources essential to create and share their work." The organization is named after its building's original tenant, an early 20th century sawdust factory by the same name. It was founded in 2015 by composer Paola Prestini and attorney Kevin Dolan. Since then, National Sawdust has featured artists and ensembles including Philip Glass, Yo-Yo Ma, Nico Muhly, Yo La Tengo, Chris Thile, Pussy riot, Tanya Tagaq, Agnes Obel, Joan Tower, John Corigliano, the International Contemporary Ensemble, yMusic, Missy Mazzoli, Royce Vavrek, Du Yun, Karole Armitage, and Anthony Roth Costanzo.

Music Hall of Williamsburg (formerly Northsix) is a New York City venue located at 66 North 6th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. The venue is operated by The Bowery Presents, a group stemming from Bowery Ballroom. It has a capacity of 650 people and has shows on most nights of the week.

Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord is a historic Russian Orthodox cathedral at 228 North 12th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. The cathedral was designated a New York City landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1969, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Smorgasburg is an open-air food market that originated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn next to the East River. It takes place every Saturday in an empty lot. The name Smorgasburg is a portmanteau of “Smörgåsbord” and “Williamsburg.” Dozens of vendors sell their food and wares. It initially was started in 2011, by Jonathan Butler and Eric Demby as an offshoot of Brooklyn Flea. Originally, some businesses were not able to set up at Brooklyn Flea due to limited space, so the founders created a food-centered version of the original market. They chose Brooklyn due to location and affordability of space. The food tends to be small-batch and innovative foods. Smorgasburg grew quickly in popularity and some vendors were able to upgrade to brick-and-mortar locations.There is wide variety of food from over 100 vendors. It has since expanded to other locations, which are subject to change. Currently, it is open in Williamsburg on Saturdays and Prospect Park on Sundays from April through October in both locations. It has also expanded to Los Angeles in 2016. It takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alameda Produce Market. This was also a way to revive a part of Los Angeles that was dead for many years, which is now referred to as The Row. At the Los Angeles location they feature over forty vendors and bring in around 8,000 people every Sunday.

Delaware & Hudson was a restaurant in New York City. The restaurant had received a Michelin star, before closing.

Wagmag, a Brooklyn Art Guide, is a free monthly listings magazine with information about Brooklyn's numerous contemporary art galleries, including opening receptions and exhibitions. The magazine serves the communities of: Bedford–Stuyvesant, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Bushwick, Carroll Gardens, Clinton Hill, Cobble Hill, Dumbo, Fort Greene, Gowanus, Greenpoint, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Red Hook and Williamsburg. Wagmag is printed and online, listing gallery venues with a 16-page pamphlet publication that lists each month's art, the reviews, how to get about, and a special section for openings and events. Wagmag is produced by "ARTfront, Inc." a not-for-profit organization and so can be taken for free. The expanded guide also includes critics' suggestions of exhibits to see as well as a website that has exhibition details.
