The Embassy of Afghanistan in Moscow (Persian: سفارت کبرای جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان در مسكو/ Pashto:په مسکو کې د افغانستان د اسلامي جمهوریت لوی سفارت) is the diplomatic mission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the Russian Federation. It is located at 42 Povarskaya Street (Russian: Поварская ул., 42) in the Arbat district of Moscow. Following the fall of the country to the Taliban in August 2021, the embassy remained in operation as a representative of the Islamic Republic, until the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs accredited Taliban appointee Jamal Nasir Gharwal as charge d'affaires on 9 April 2022.The mission is housed in historical Ponizovsky House, designed by Lev Kekushev, although its exterior was later radically altered and does not display signs of Kekushev's Art Nouveau style. In 1902 Jacob Reck's development company purchased a large Volchkov estate, split it in two lots, and invited Kekushev to design two luxury mansions for resale. The better known Mindovsky House (present-day Embassy of New Zealand) was set right on the street corner, with the main entrance facing the spacious inner courtyard. Ponizovsky House was set back from Povarskaya street line, allowing a narrow strip of garden between the wall and sidewalk; its main entrance faces the corner of Povarskaya Street and Skatertny Lane. Period photographs show that the building had a flattened yet prominent dome above the main entrance and a smaller curvilinear gable above Povarskaya street facade; overall styling was reserved, with clear vertical lines of windows cut through a tiled wall. In 1914, when Kekushev was already inactive, Ponizovsky House was rebuilt to a neoclassical design, losing the dome and all original exterior finishes.

Designed by Alexander Kaminsky one of the most important Russian architect between 1860 a 1880, the construction is one of the first and still rare examples of civil construction in the city in a pseudo-Russian style, marked by references from traditional Russian culture before "Peter the Great" era. From early 2019 to late 2020, due to restoration of the main building, the Residence of Brazilian Ambassador was temporarily settled at Tsvetkov's mansion (Особняк Цветкова)

The National Film Actors' Theatre or State Theatre of Cinema Actors (Russian - Государственный театр киноактёра) is a theatre company in Moscow, Russia, founded in December 1943 by the Council of People's Commissars to train film directors and film actors and to provide work for film actors between shoots. It is housed in a building originally built as a house of culture for political prisoners by two of the Vesnin brothers between 1931 and 1935. The Embassy of the Republic of Georgia in Moscow was the diplomatic mission of Georgia in the Russian Federation. It was located at 6 Maly Rzhevsky Lane (Russian: Малый Ржевский переулок, 6) in the Arbat district of Moscow. On 29 August 2008, Georgia broke diplomatic relations with Russia and withdrew all its diplomats from Russia and closed the Georgian Embassy in Moscow. They also ordered Russia to withdraw all its diplomats from Georgia and close the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi. Russia and Georgia had previously fought a five-day war over two Georgian breakaway regions declaring independence, South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Georgia is represented through the Georgian Interests Section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia located in the same building. The building, completed in 1902, was designed by architect Sergey Solovyov as his private home. It was a part of an upper-class new development area on the northern side of Povarskaya Street, next to the mansions designed by Roman Klein, Alexander Kaminsky and Lev Kekushev. The architect, who worked mostly for public charities and colleges, was usually constrained by his clients, and his own home was his only venture into pure decorative art.
