Westchester Country Club

The 2015 KPMG Women's PGA Championship was the 61st Women's PGA Championship, held June 11–14 at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York, a suburb northeast of New York City. The 2015 edition saw major changes to the event, due to a new partnership between the LPGA and the PGA of America. The event was renamed from the "LPGA Championship" to the "Women's PGA Championship" (making it a sister event to the men's PGA Championship), and its purse was increased from $2.25 million to $3.5 million. KPMG also became the new title sponsor of the event, replacing Wegmans.

The Apawamis Club is a private country club located in Rye, New York, Westchester County, long known for its 18-hole golf course and prominence in the sport of squash. The 1911 U.S. Amateur Championship was contested here, resulting in a playoff between the reigning British Amateur champion, Harold Hilton, and his lesser-known American opponent, Fred Herreshoff. Apawamis is also the home base of a nationally recognized junior squash program and hosts the world renowned Briggs Cup tournament.

School of the Holy Child, established in 1904, is an American all-girls', Catholic, independent, college-preparatory school for grades 5 through 12, located in Rye, New York. The school is guided by the educational philosophy of Cornelia Connelly, the founder of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, and her dedication to developing "young women of conscience and action".

The Harrison New York Temple, previously known as the White Plains New York Temple, was a planned temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) that was to be constructed in Harrison, New York. Construction of the temple was to take place on a 24-acre site purchased by the LDS Church at the intersection of Interstate 287 and Hutchinson River Parkway. Reportedly, efforts had been underway until 2004, but construction was never started and eventually suspended. After delays by lawsuits and objections by local officials, this temple was removed from the list on the LDS Church's official temple website soon after the dedication of the Manhattan New York Temple. Any decision to build a temple on this site would constitute a new announcement.

Rye Country Day School, also known as Rye Country Day or RCDS, is an independent, co-educational college preparatory school located in Rye, New York. Its Upper School (grades 9–12), Middle School (5–8), and Lower School (Pre-Kindergarten-4) enroll a total of 886 students on its 35-acre campus. Rye Country Day attracts students from over 40 school districts in the tri-state area. The School's $5.9 million financial aid budget provides significant tuition grants to the families of 143 students (16%) in the school. 35% of RCDS students self-identify as people of color.

Texaco Headquarters is a corporate campus in White Plains, New York. When it opened in 1977, the building became the new head office of Texaco, which had been based in the Chrysler Building in Manhattan since 1930. Design was undertaken by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, who assigned the project to J. Walter Severinghaus. After Chevron acquired Texaco in October 2001, the building was purchased by Morgan Stanley in March 2002.

US Post Office-Rye is a historic post office building located at Rye in Westchester County, New York, United States. It was built in 1935 and designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Louis A. Simon. It is a one-story symmetrical flat roofed building in the Colonial Revival style. The front facade features a central, recessed entrance with broad limestone surround and shallow decorated cornice. The lobby features a mural by Guy Pene du Bois painted in 1938 and titled "John Jay at His Home."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.The building was renamed the Caroline O'Day Post Office on October 23, 2010, in recognition of Congresswoman Caroline O'Day's public service.

Widow Haviland's Tavern, also known as Square House Museum, is a historic inn and tavern building located at Rye, Westchester County, New York. It is a frame, gambrel roofed building with portions believed to date to the early 18th century, about 1730. It opened as a tavern about 1760. John Adams (1774), George Washington (1789), and General Lafayette (1824) are among the well known customers. It ceased use as a public house about 1830, then was a private residence until 1903, after which it became the municipal hall. It has been used since 1964 as a local history museum.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Rye African-American Cemetery, also known as the African Cemetery in Rye, is a historic 1.4 acre cemetery on North Street in Rye, New York. It was established as a burying ground for local African-Americans in 1860 through a donation of land by the Underhill family with the intent that it “shall forever hereafter kept, held and used for the purpose of a cemetery or burial place for the colored inhabitants of the said Town of Rye, and its vicinity free and clear of any charge". At least 35 of the individuals buried there are American veterans including men who served with the 20th United States Colored Infantry Regiment. The last documented burial in the cemetery was in 1964. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. In 2004, it was added to the African American Heritage Trail of Westchester County, a group of 14 sites which include Stony Hill Cemetery, Villa Lewaro and the Jay Estate.
