Vestre Prison (Danish: Vestre Fængsel) is the main jail of the Danish capital, Copenhagen. Erected in 1895, it is Denmark's largest prison with a total capacity of 530 inmates. It primarily houses pretrial detainees, not convicted felons.

StreetMekka is a 2,200 square metre indoor venue for street sports and street culture in the Kongens Enghave district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The activities include Street basketball, parkour, dance, street soccer, street art, beat production, and DJing. It is situated at Enghavevej 82 D, adjacent to Copenhagen Skatepark. Founder and the idea of streetmekka came from Samir Bohammouch in year 2003 who plays Streetbasketball in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Idea was based from the need of having a free place for all people in all ages to come and play streetbasketball all year around, specially in the typical cold weather season in Denmark.

Copenhagen Skatepark, also referred to as CPH Skatepark, is an indoor skateboarding venue located at Enghavevej in the Kongens Enghave district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen Skatepark is also involved in the operation of a 4,500 square metre outdoor skatepark in Fælledparken in which opened in 2011.

Enghave station is a former station on the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. The station opened on 11 November 1911. S-train service commenced on 1 November 1934 and was latterly served by trains on Vestbanen and Frederikssundbanen. Until 1923, the station was called Vester Fælledvej. The station closed on 3 July 2016, when it was replaced with a new station 200 metres farther west, named Carlsberg station, which connects to the new residential area being built in the Carlsberg neighbourhood.

Kongens Enghave ("king's meadow"), commonly known as Sydhavnen ("south harbour") or the postal district of 2450 Copenhagen SV (southwest) is a district in southern Copenhagen. While its core is a largely pre-WWII former working class district, it also contains an upscale residential area along the harbour having been developed after 2000, scattered industrial areas, large parks such as Valbyparken and Sydhavnstippen, allotment gardens and parts of Vestre Kirkegård, the city's largest cemetery. The area has historically been a working class quarter, dissected by major transport corridors and characterized by industry along the harbour-front. Since the turn of the millennium, this picture is starting to change. While the central parts of the district in general remains a relatively poor neighbourhood with social challenges, the harbour-front areas of Sluseholmen and Teglholmen have undergone massive redevelopment into new residential neighbourhoods. A cluster of IT and telecommunications companies have also emerged in the area. The former Nokia Copenhagen headquarter is now occupied by a branch of Aalborg University. However, the traditional parts of the district still haven't undergone the gentrification process seen in more central former working class areas such as Vesterbro and Nørrebro.

Sydhavn is a station on the Køge radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is named after Sydhavnen (South Harbour), a district of southern Copenhagen.

Carlsberg station (Danish pronunciation: [ˈkʰɑˀlsˌpɛɐ̯ˀ stæˈɕoˀn]) is an S-train station in Copenhagen, Denmark, that serves the Carlsberg area of the Vesterbro/Kongens Enghave district. Situated on the Høje Taastrup radial of the S-train network, it opened on 3 July 2016 and replaced Enghave station, which was located 200m east.

The J. C. Jacobsen Garden (Danish: J. C. Jacobsens Have), also known as the Academy Garden (Danish: Akademihaven), is a public garden in the Carlsberg area of Copenhagen, Denmark. The main entrance is through a pergola on the left-hand side of the Tap E building, a former bottling plant which now serves as a cultural venue.

Tap E is a former storage building of a bottling plant in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, part of Carlsberg's historic brewery site which is now known simply as the Carlsberg area. After the production of beer in the area stopped in 2009, the listed building has been taken unto use as a cultural venue which houses both a centre for modern dance, Dansehallerne, and Fotografisk Center, a gallery and digital laboratory dedicated to fine art photography. The building borders on the J. C. Jacobsen Garden accessed through a pergola running along the left-hand side of the building.

Fotografisk Center is an exhibition space in Copenhagen, Denmark, dedicated to international and Danish photographic art. Since 1 January 2016 it has been based in the Copenhagen Meat Packing District (Det Brune Kødbyen) at Staldgade 16, 1799 Copenhagen V.

Carlsberg (Danish pronunciation: [ˈkʰɑˀlsˌpɛɐ̯ˀ]) is an area located straddling the border of Valby and Vesterbro districts in central Copenhagen, Denmark approximately 2.4 km from the City Hall Square. The area emerged when J.C. Jacobsen founded his original brewery in the district in 1847. The first brewing took place on 11 November 1847 and production continued until 30 October 2008, when production was moved to Fredericia in Jutland. The Jacobsen House Brewery is however still located in the district and produces specialty beers. The entire brewery grounds spread over more than 30 hectares and is currently being transformed into a new city district in Copenhagen. The area is dominated by numerous historic and restored 19th- and early 20th-century buildings, many of which have lavish ornamentations, as well as two historic gardens. The buildings have served a wide array of original functions, some of which are not immediately associated with the production of beer. These include a lighthouse, stables, Italianate villas and a museum. After the decision was made to close the brewery, plans were launched to redevelop the area into a new district. A master plan for the area draws on inspiration from classical, dense city centers with short, winding streets, passageways and small squares. It will also feature ten slim towers. The planned district will aim at sustainability and an active urban life. The plan won the master planning category at the 2009 World Architecture Festival.
