Cheonggyesan is a mountain in South Korea. It extends over the district of Seocho-gu in Seoul, the national capital, and the cities of Gwacheon, Uiwang, and Seongnam in the province of Gyeonggi-do. It has an elevation of 620 m (2,034 ft).Cheonggyesan Mountain is located in the outskirts of Seoul and has Seoul Land, a theme park, Gwacheon Seoul Grand Park, Seoul Racing Park, and Gwacheon National Science Museum. The hiking trail is located in Seocho, Gangnam, and there are Cheonggye Valley, Ganarigol, Yangjae Freight Terminal, and Senjyeong-dong. In addition, there is a hiking trail from Mangyeo-dong in Gwacheon, and it is popular to walk from Cheonggyecheon, Uiwang-dong to Imsubong Mangyeongdae. On the south-west, Cheonggyesa Temple, which was built during the Silla Dynasty, is located at the eastern foot of Seoul Memorial Park and the Gyeongbu Expressway flows southeast.

Cheonggyesa (Hangul: 청계사; Hanja: 淸溪寺) is a temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism in Uiwang, Cheonggyesan (Seoul/Gyeonggi). The temple was first built in Silla Kingdom era.

Guryong Village (Korean: 구룡마을) is a shanty town in Seoul, South Korea. It is just across a six-lane motorway from Dogok-dong of the affluent Gangnam District.It has been called "the last slum in Seoul's glitzy Gangnam district", "the last shanty town in Gangnam", and "the last remaining urban slum in Seoul", although this claim has been treated skeptically due to the continued existence of at least two other notable areas.The settlement first arose around the time of the city's rapid development prior to the 1988 Olympic Games. It was an illegal settlement at the time, as it was built on privately owned land.The settlement persisted over decades, despite multiple efforts to resettle the residents. Beginning in the mid-2010s, the Seoul government has been gradually moving residents out of the area, and offering them apartments in the area or elsewhere at significantly reduced rents. By 2019, it was reported that 406 of 1,107 households (36.7%) had been relocated.

Academy of Korean Studies (한국학중앙연구원, AKS) is a South Korean research and educational institute with the purpose of establishing profound research on Korean culture. It was established on June 22, 1978, by Ministry of Education & Science Technology of South Korea (교육과학기술부). The Academy has dedicated to interpreting and analyzing Korean culture in general, defining the academic identity of Korean studies, and educating scholars.

Yangjae Citizen's Forest (Maeheon) Station is a subway station in Seoul, South Korea, on Seoul Metropolitan Subway's Shinbundang Line. It opened on October 28, 2011. The subway station appears in episode 1 of the Netflix TV show Squid Game where the main character Gi-hun, is recruited into the death games.

Seoul Land (Korean: 서울랜드) is an amusement park opened in 1987, in Gwacheon, a city in Gyeonggi-do province, South Korea. It is located in the Seoul Grand Park complex. It opened just before the 1988 Summer Olympics. It has about 40 rides, including roller coasters and movie theaters. Seasonal festivals are held in the park. It is smaller than Everland, but closer to Seoul, about one hour away from downtown. Approximately 3–3.5 million people visit the park each a year. Roughly a third of its 300,000 m2 is green space, the rest being packed with attractions.

Seoul Grand Park is a park complex to the south of Seoul, South Korea, in the city of Gwacheon (과천시). Facilities at Seoul Grand Park include hills and hiking trails, Seoul Grand Park Zoo, Children's Zoo, a rose garden, Seoul Land amusement park, and the Seoul Museum of Modern Art. The attractions all have separate admission fees. Line 4 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway stops at Seoul Grand Park Station. A shuttle bus from the station visits the art museum and upper park entrance. This zoological garden has lions, rhinoceros, Siberian tigers, llamas and even macaws and parrots.

Unjung-dong (운중동, 雲中洞) is one of the 19 dongs of Bundang-gu, in the city of Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea.
