Willowridge High School is a public high school in Houston, Texas, United States and part of the Fort Bend Independent School District. Willowridge serves grades 9 through 12. The school serves many areas of northeast Fort Bend County east and north of FM 2234, and a section of Houston inside Fort Bend County, including the neighborhoods of Briargate, Chasewood, Willow Park II, Mayfair Park, Ridgemont, Ridgegate, and Briar Villa. The school also serves the Fort Bend County portion of Shadow Creek Ranch, a community within the city of Pearland [2]. This school is well known for its marching band, known as the "Mighty Eagle Marching Band." Under band directors Mr. Ronald Thornton (head), Delcenia Hill, Maurice Ross, Robert Lee, and Robert Jackson, the band performed at the Rose Bowl in 1994 and Orange Bowl in 1996. In 2001, the band participated in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and in the summer of 2005, the Willowridge Band vacationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, a rarity for high school bands. The band also hosted the Bands of America contest at Rice Stadium on October 1, 2005. They have consecutively won 1st place at the MLK Battle Of The Bands and All-American Battle Of The Bands. The school is also renowned for its basketball program. In 2001, the men's team accomplished the rare feat of having two McDonald's All-Americans in Daniel Ewing and T. J. Ford, who went on to play for Duke University and Texas, respectively.

Windsor Village is a community in Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. The Windsor Village United Methodist Church is located in the community. The name of the community reflected a British motif popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The Windsor Village Church Family is a United Methodist megachurch in Windsor Village in far Southwest Houston, Texas. As of March 2020, the church's senior pastor is Suzette Caldwell. Prior to 2020, Kirbyjon Caldwell, who continues to maintain a visionary role at the church, was its senior pastor for over thirty-eight years. In 2013, the church had 17,045 members, making it one of the largest Methodist churches in the United States. The church membership is mostly black; as of 2001, the church is one of six mostly black Methodist churches in the U.S. with a membership of over 3,000 members, and one of 94 churches total with a membership of over 3,000. In 2006, it was also one of the largest black churches in the US. It reported an average weekly worship service attendance of 2,600 in 2020 (compared to 3,700 in 2018 and 2700 in 2019).

Leader's Academy High School for Business and Academic Success, previously the High School for Business and Economic Success (HSBES), was a Grade 7–12 state charter school located on the campus of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Windsor Village, Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. The school was formerly named Gulf Shores Academy. In 2011 it merged with Benji's Special Educational Academy into Victory Preparatory Academy.

KUHT (channel 8) is a PBS member television station in Houston, Texas, United States. Owned by the University of Houston System, it is sister to NPR member station KUHF (88.7 FM). The two stations share studios and offices in the Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting on the campus of the University of Houston. KUHT's transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County. In addition, the station leased some of its studio operations to Tegna-owned CBS affiliate KHOU (channel 11) from August 2017 to February 2019 when the latter's original studios were inundated by Hurricane Harvey. KUHT also serves as the default PBS member station to the neighboring Beaumont–Port Arthur and Victoria markets (the latter along with KLRN in San Antonio) as they do not have their own PBS station. It is available on cable and satellite providers in both markets, although Lake Charles member station and Louisiana Public Broadcasting outlet KLTL-TV is carried by some cable providers in the extreme eastern areas of the Beaumont–Port Arthur market. KUHT is notable as the first public television station in the United States.

KTRK-TV (channel 13) is a television station in Houston, Texas, United States, serving as the market's ABC outlet. Owned and operated by the network's ABC Owned Television Stations division, the station maintains studios on Bissonnet Street in Houston's Upper Kirby district. Its transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County.

Corinthian Pointe is a large planned affordable subdivision located in Houston, Texas, in the United States. It is a part of the larger master planned community Pointe 2.3.4, and is within the 5 Corners District.Corinthian Pointe is located immediately outside the 610 Loop and inside Beltway 8 near Reliant Park. The Windsor Village United Methodist Church's Reverend Kirbyjon Caldwell, Pyramid Residential Community Corporation, and Ryland Homes established the community in the 2000s; the church is the largest United Methodist Church in the United States. Caldwell said that the neighborhood is the largest residential subdivision in Houston that was developed by a non-profit group. According to the church, it is the largest residential subdivision developed by a nonprofit group in the City of Houston.The community, which spans 220 acres (0.89 km2), included 462 homes by the end of 2006. The subdivision cost 173 million United States dollars to build. About 80% of the subdivision's homes are classified as "affordable" by the City of Houston according to Genora Boykins, the chairperson of Pyramid Residential Community Corporation.The West Orem Family YMCA built for $7 million, Kingdom Builders' Community Center built for $68 million and including a church and a prayer center, the Zina Garrison Tennis Center built for $3.5 million, an independent living center built for $8.1 million, a children's medical clinic built for $1 million, and retail outlets that are next to and were developed for the subdivision.

KPRC-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Houston, Texas, United States, affiliated with NBC and owned by Graham Media Group. Its studios are located on Southwest Freeway (I-69/US 59) in the Southwest Management District (formerly Greater Sharpstown), and its transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County. Houston is the second-largest television market (after WXIA-TV in Atlanta) where the NBC station is not owned and operated by the network.

KBXX (97.9 FM) is a commercial radio station in Houston, Texas. It airs a rhythmic contemporary radio format, mostly made up of hip-hop music and R&B. It is owned by Urban One as part of a five station cluster with KMJQ, KKBQ, KHPT, and KGLK. The studios and offices are located in the Greenway Plaza district. KBXX has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts. The transmitter is on Farm to Market Road 2234, near Fort Bend Parkway in Southwest Houston. It broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format. Previously, the HD2 subchannel aired Vietnamese language programming, both talk and pop music. KBXX-HD2 provided the primary feed for FM translator 101.7 K269GT in Humble.

The studios and offices are located in the Greenway Plaza district of Houston. KKHH has an effective radiated power ERP of 100,000 watts. The transmitter is off Farm-to-Market Road 2234 near the Fort Bend Parkway in Southwest Houston. KKHH broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format; the HD-2 subchannel carries Audacy's LGBTQ-oriented talk and EDM service Channel Q, while the HD-3 subchannel simulcasts the CBS Sports Radio programming heard on co-owned KIKK.

The Senior Road Tower is a guyed mast for FM and TV broadcasting, measuring 1,971 feet (601 m) tall, located in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County near Missouri City, Texas, United States. The present mast was built in 1983. It replaced a previous tower that collapsed in a construction accident in December 1982, killing five workers. While historically also used for television, its primary purpose was and is to transmit FM radio stations.

KETH-TV (channel 14) is a religious television station in Houston, Texas, United States, airing programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). It is owned and operated by TBN's Community Educational Television subsidiary, which manages stations in Texas and Florida on channels allocated for non-commercial educational broadcasting, and serves as the subsidiary's flagship station. KETH-TV's studios (and CET's general offices) are located on South Wilcrest Drive in the Alief section of Houston. The station's transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County.
