KBRZ (1460 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Missouri City, Texas. It is operated by Sangeet Radio and owned by Daij Media, LLC. The station airs a South Asian radio format targeted at the Greater Houston radio market, with listeners originally from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh now living in Southeast Texas. To offer listeners the choice of hearing the programming on FM radio, KBRZ uses two low-power translator stations: 95.1 K236AR in Missouri City and 103.5 K278CR in Houston.

George Ranch High School is a secondary school located in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas, United States, south of Richmond. The school is part of the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. The school was established in fall 2010 with the intent of relieving the student populations at the other high schools in LCISD. George Ranch High School has approximately 2700 students. It serves: portions of Rosenberg, unincorporated portions of Fort Bend County, the LCISD portion of Sugar Land (including Greatwood), Thompsons, and the communities of Crabb, and Canyon Gate.The school's address is 8181 FM 762, Richmond, TX 77469, adjacent to Reading Junior High School. They won the 5A/D1 State Football Championship on December 18, 2015, defeating Lake Ridge High School 56–0. Clubs like TSA (Technology Student Association) also are very popular in this school as repeated TSA national appearances are very common.

Greatwood is a neighborhood within the city of Sugar Land in the state of Texas. It was formerly a census-designated place located in Fort Bend County. The population was 11,538 at the 2010 census, up from 6,640 at the 2000 census. It was annexed into the City of Sugar Land on December 12, 2017.

The district is represented by Republican Troy Nehls, who was elected in 2020 over two-time challenger Democrat Sri Preston Kulkarni. From 2009-2021 Texas's 22nd Congressional District was represented by Peter Graham Olson(Pete Olson). From 1985 until 2006 the district was represented by former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and before that, former Congressman and three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul briefly in 1976 and again from 1979 to 1985. The Cook Partisan Voting Index, which derives its data from the two most recent presidential elections, gave the district a 10-point Republican lean compared to the national average until its 2021 review, when it was lowered to 4-points.

It is a part of the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD). Its boundary includes portions of Rosenberg, most of Pleak, and all of Kendleton. It also includes the unincorporated area of Powell Point.

The Beauford H. Jester Complex, formerly the Jester State Prison Farm, refers to a complex of Texas Department of Criminal Justice prisons for men in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas. Individually they are Jester I Unit, Carol Vance Unit (Jester II Unit), Jester III Unit, and Wayne Scott Unit (Jester IV Unit). Texas State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway) bisects the prison property. Cornfields surround the Jester property.A portion of the property is within the Pecan Grove CDP.

B. F. Terry High School is located in Rosenberg, Texas, United States, and is part of the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. Terry serves all of Beasley, and serves parts of Rosenberg, and the unincorporated communities of Booth and Crabb. It formerly served most of Pleak.It is named after Benjamin Franklin Terry, the leader of the 8th Texas Cavalry of the Confederate Army, also known as Terry's Texas Rangers. He was also a prominent slaveowner and Delegate to the Texas Secession Convention of 1861 where Texas formally ratified its rationale to join the Civil War against the United States.

New Territory is a master-planned community within the city of Sugar Land, Texas, United States. It was formerly a census-designated place (CDP) and in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Sugar Land, in unincorporated Fort Bend County. It was annexed into Sugar Land on December 12, 2017. The population was 15,186 at the 2010 census, up from 13,861 at the 2000 census.
