The 63 Building (Korean: 63빌딩), officially called 63 SQUARE (formerly Hanwha 63 City), is a skyscraper on Yeouido island, overlooking the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. At 249 meters (817 ft) high, it was the tallest building outside North America when it opened on July 27, 1985, and remains the tallest gold-clad structure in the world. It stood as South Korea's tallest building until the Hyperion Tower surpassed it in 2003, but remained the country's tallest commercial building until the Northeast Asia Trade Tower was topped-out in 2009.The 63 Building was built as a landmark for the 1988 Summer Olympics. 63 is something of a misnomer since only 60 floors are above ground level. Floors 61-63 are restricted areas. The skyscraper is the headquarters of Korea Life Insurance, Industrial Bank of Korea Securities, and other major financial companies. The design of the structure is based on the Hanja character for person or human being (人 or in) in a subtle reference by the designers to the business of Daehan Life, the insurance company that constructed the building.

Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market or shortly Noryangjin Fish Market (Hangul: 노량진 수산시장) is an extensive farmers fish market in the neighborhood of Noryangjin-dong in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is located east of 63 Building, and just south of the Han River. Metro line One passes through at Noryangin station near-by. Exit the station at exit 1 and walk under the bridge. Noryangjin Fish Market was established in 1927 as Gyeongseong Susan (Hangul: 경성수산) on Uijuro(Hangul: 의주로) in Jung-gu near Seoul Station and moved to its current location in central Seoul in 1971.In a poll of nearly 2,000 foreign visitors, conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in November 2011, stated that visiting the Market is one of their favorite activities in Seoul.

Noryangjin Station (ko:노량진역) is a metro station in central Seoul, South Korea. The station is located in the Noryangjin-dong (neighborhood) of Dongjak-gu (ward) and is also a stop on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Seoul Subway Line 9. This stop is a popular destination for those seeking to eat raw fish, and other assorted seafood, as a large, covered sea food market is located next to the station, accessible by foot bridge. The Line 1 station is also notable in that Exit 1 and 2 have the same number as Exit 1 and 2 of Line 9's station.

Dongjak District (Dongjak-gu) is one of the 25 gu that make up the city of Seoul, South Korea. Its name was derived from the Dongjaegi Naruteo Ferry, on the Han River which borders the district to the north. It was the 17th gu created in Seoul, after being separated from Gwanak District on 1 April 1980.

Bongwon Temple (or Bongwonsa) is a South Korean Buddhist temple in Bongwon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, near Yonsei University. Situated to the northeast of the university on the hillside of Ahn Mountain, this is the head temple of the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism. It was founded in 889 by Master Doseon and located on the current site of Yonsei University. It moved to its present location in 1748. Part of the temple was destroyed in 1950 during the Korean War. In 1966 a new hall was built, but this was later moved to another part of the city. In 1991, while a new Hall of 3000 Buddhas was being built, a fire destroyed the Main Buddha Hall, which was rebuilt in 1994. In the summer of 2004, it was discovered that serial killer Yoo Young-Cheol had buried around eleven bodies of his victims near the temple. More than 50 monks live at the temple and are engaged in education and social welfare work.

The Wonhyo Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the districts of Yongsan-gu and Yeongdeungpo-gu. The bridge was completed in 1981 (1981). It was the 13th to be built on the Han River.

Ankara Park (Korean: 앙카라공원), also called Sister Park (자매공원) is a park in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, South Korea. It is named for Ankara, Turkey, and has been open since May 1, 1977.

Yeouinaru Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 5. Because of having to cross the Han River by a deep tunnel and not by a rail bridge, it is the deepest train station in South Korea with a depth of 27.5 metres (90 ft) below sea level.

The Hangang Railway Bridge (Korean: 한강철교; Hanja: 漢江鐵橋) crosses the Han River in Seoul, South Korea and connects Noryangjin Station and Yongsan Station.

Saetgang Station is a railway station on Line 9 and Sillim Line of the Seoul Subway.

The Parc 1 Tower is a supertall skyscraper in Seoul, South Korea. It stands 333 m (1,093 ft) and contain 69 floors. Construction stopped in 2011 but resumed in early 2017.

Yeouido (Hangul: 여의도, English: Yoi Island or Yeoui Island) is a large island (or eyot) on the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It is Seoul's main finance and investment banking district. Its 8.4 square kilometers are home to some 30,988 people. The island is located in the Yeongdeungpo-gu district of Seoul, and largely corresponds to the precinct of Yeoui-dong. The island contains the National Assembly Building, where the National Assembly of South Korea meets, Korea Financial Investment Association, the large Yoido Full Gospel Church, the 63 Building, and the headquarters of LG, Korean Broadcasting System, and the Korea Exchange Center. Due mainly to its importance as a financial district and its central location, Yeouido is home to some of Seoul and South Korea's tallest skyscrapers, including International Finance Center Seoul, Parc1 Tower, the Federation of Korea Industries Tower, as well as the iconic 63 Building.
