Prazeres (English: pleasures) is a civil parish in the municipality of Calheta in the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira. The population in 2011 was 704, in an area of 10.03 km2. Prazeres is located along the main Regional 222 Roadway, linking it to Fajã da Ovelha and Estreito da Calheta. Agriculture continues to be the driving activity in the region, although commercial establishments are scattered within the community.

Estreito da Calheta (Portuguese for strait of Calheta) is a civil parish in the municipality of Calheta in the Portuguese island of Madeira. The population in 2011 was 1,607, in an area of 14.32 km2.

Praia da Calheta (English: Calheta Beach) is a beach located near the town Calheta, on the island of Madeira, Portugal. It is one of the few sandy beaches of Madeira, with sand imported from North Africa. However, these sand-imports were quite controversial, as the sand was taken from Western Sahara, a Non-Self Governing Territory which has been largely occupied by Morocco since 1975. The imports are considered to be a violation of international law, as the consent of the people of the territory is required in the exploitation of the territory’s resources.The Madeira officials have neglected to consult the Sahrawi people on the sand purchases and instead opted to engage in business with Morocco. The latest confirmed shipments from occupied Western Sahara to Calheta took place in 2010.

Calheta (Portuguese pronunciation: [kɐˈʎetɐ] ) is a municipality on the southwest coast of Madeira, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 11,521, in an area of 111.50 km2.

The Levada das 25 Fontes is a levada that is located in Rabaçal, Paul da Serra, Madeira, Portugal. It is one of the most visited levadas on the island. Access is possible via the road ER110 in Paul da Serra. From there walking or taking a bus is possible to the start of the levada which is at the casa do Rabaçal, from here it is possible to get to the lagoon of the Wind (Lagoa do Vento), 25 Fontes Falls and the Risco levada, which leads to the impressive Risco waterfall that emerges from the lagoon. A valley of vertical walls where different types of volcanic rock allow water from the upper water table to emerge in the form of numerous fountains along the walls of the mountain. The only problem is the narrowness of the road, in the middle of the Laurel forest and other walkers.

Madalena do Mar is a civil parish in the municipality of Ponta do Sol in the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira. The population in 2011 was 516, in an area of 2.07 km².

The 25 Fontes ("25 Springs" in English) is a group of waterfalls located in Rabaçal, Paul da Serra on Madeira Island. Access is possible via the Levada das 25 Fontes.The waterfall is 30m high, consisting of a group of different water streams coming vertically down the mountainside. At its foot there are rocks covered in small plants and a small natural pool.It is involved in the primitive forest Laurisilva of Madeira, in the Macaronesia archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean. The forest in this location consists of large quantities of bay trees.

The Risco Waterfall ("Risco" meaning risk in English) is a group of waterfalls located in Rabaçal, Paul da Serra, in the Madeira Islands. The waterfall is 100m high, consisting of a group of different water streams coming vertically down the mountainside. At its foot there are rocks covered in small plants and a small natural pool.

Canhas is a civil parish in the municipality of Ponta do Sol in the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira. Extending into the interior from the coast, the parish has an area of 16.66 km2. It has a population of 3,769 (2011).

The Cascata dos Anjos (Angels Waterfall) is a waterfall located in the civil parish of Anjos, municipality of Ponta do Sol, on the Portuguese island of Madeira. The waterfall cascades over the rockface onto the old E.R.101 regional roadway, and spills into the sea below.
