The Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) (Georgian: საქართველოს საზოგადოებრივ საქმეთა ინსტიტუტი) was created in 1994 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Four separate schools of the Institute offer MA, BA programs and training courses in the spheres of Public Affairs, Local Governance, Journalism, International Affairs and Law, as well as a PhD program in the social sciences. GIPA is considered one of the top three universities in Georgia, alongside the Free University of Tbilisi and Tbilisi State University.The Georgian Institute of Public Affairs is a national center for development of practices in Public Administration, Law, Politics and Journalism. Since its establishment, GIPA brought together leaders from business, media, civil society and public services to contribute to developing effective governance at state, municipal and local levels as well as independent and viable media in Georgia through interactive education programs, research and training.The university is governed by a board, some of which are appointed by the existing members whereas others are elected by the university academic board. The board also appoints the rector, who, as an executive director of the university, is responsible for its strategic development. Previous directors of GIPA include Giorgi Margvelashvili. Apart from graduate degree and certified training programs, GIPA carries out many research and training projects. It also publishes student newspaper "Brosse Street Journal" and manages the first English-language and student run Radio GIPA.

Tbilisi State Conservatoire (Georgian: თბილისის სახელმწიფო კონსერვატორია, Tbilisis Saxelmc̣ipo Ḳonservaṭoria) is the State Conservatoire of Georgia, located in the capital Tbilisi.

Rustaveli National Theatre (Georgian: შოთა რუსთაველის სახელობის აკადემიური თეატრი Shota Rustavelis Sakhelobis Akademiuri Teatri) is the largest and one of the oldest theaters of Georgia, located in its capital Tbilisi on Rustaveli Avenue. Housed in an ornate Rococo-style edifice, the theatre was founded in 1887 and since 1921 has carried the name of Georgia's national poet Rustaveli.

The Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi (Georgian: სასტუმრო „ბილტმორ თბილისი“) is a luxury hotel in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, operated by the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. The Biltmore Hotel Tbilisi is the first Biltmore outside of the United States and first hotel in the newly presented upscale luxury Biltmore Collection of the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. The Grand Opening ceremony took place on July 31, 2016. Located on Rustaveli Avenue, the city's main thoroughfare, the hotel occupies the historical Soviet-era building IMELI, constructed in the 1930s, and a 32-floor skyscraper, built in the 2010s. Remaking of the old building as well as erection of the new one was heavily criticized by preservationists.About $140 million was invested in the new hotel, mostly by the United Arab Emirates-based construction company Dhabi Group.

The Supreme Court of Georgia (Georgian: საქართველოს უზენაესი სასამართლო, romanized: sakartvelos uzenaesi sasamartlo) represents the court of the highest and final administration of justice in the country. It was established in 2005 as the cassation instance court. It is located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in a building designed by Aleksander Szymkiewicz and built in 1894.The Supreme Court oversees the administration of justice at common courts. Its activities are to be guided by the principles of legality, collective nature, publicity, equality of parties and competitiveness, as well as the irremovability, immunity and independence of judges. The Supreme Court of Georgia considers claims on judgments made by the Courts of Appeal. It supports the introduction of the unified interpretation of the law and the establishment of common judicial practice. Through the substantiated clarification and comparison of legal norms and by establishing court practice, the Court of Cassation is intended to ensure prompt and streamlined functioning of the judiciary.

The Zarya Vostoka building is an office building in Tbilisi on Rustaveli Avenue. It was built in 1931 by the Armenian architect David Chisliev as the headquarters for the Russian-language newspaper Zarya Vostoka in the constructivist style. At the same location was until 1913 a wooden circus building owned by the Nikitin brothers. The building later housed the publishing house Merani and was until 2007 a protected monument of national importance. Currently renovations are under progress that according to some critics threaten the historical substance of the building.

The Tbilisi Marriott Hotel is a luxury five-star Marriott hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia, located in 13 Rustaveli Avenue, the city's main boulevard. It was built as a high-class hotel on the commission of the wealthy Armenian merchant Mikael Aramyants from 1911 to 1915.

Giorgi Leonidze State Museum of Literature, Georgia (Georgian: საქართველოს გიორგი ლეონიძის სახელობის მუზეუმი ) was founded in 1930 upon the initiative of David Arsenishvili, a legendary museum-founder, who also was the creator of Tbilisi Theater Museum, and later the famous Andrej Rublow museum in Moscow. The greatest supporter for this initiative was Georgian poet Titsian Tabidze, who, together with the group of symbolist writers – the Blue Horns (Georgian: Tsisferyantselebi / ცისფერყანწელები ) – advocated the creation of a literature museum since 1919. Tabidze, together with Ivan Enikolofow, was also the first chair of the museum.

The Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel is a hotel in the city center of Tbilisi located on Rose Revolution Square. The hotel was built in 1967 by the Soviet government as the premier luxury hotel of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic and was named Hotel Iveria after the ancient kingdom of Iveria. As a result of the war in Abkhazia in 1992, the hotel became a refugee camp housing more than 800 refugees. In 2004 the refugees were removed from the hotel and offered $7000 per room. The dilapidated hotel was stripped down to its steel structural frame and completely rebuilt as a modern luxury business hotel, managed by the Radisson Hotels group. It reopened in 2009 as the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel.

The Tbilisi Art Gallery (Georgian: თბილისის სამხატვრო გალერეა), or the National Gallery is an art gallery located on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi. Historically, it is known to Tbilisians as the Blue Gallery, taking its name from the various shades of the blue-green paint previously adorning the facade, although the building is now painted grey.

The death of Arina Glazunova occurred on the night of September 27, 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Glazunova was a 24-year-old Russian influencer who died after falling into an underground subway passage while taking a selfie video. The accident received wide attention online and sparked conversations about infrastructure safety in Tbilisi.

The Kashveti Church of St. George (Georgian: ქაშვეთის წმინდა გიორგის სახელობის ტაძარი) is a Georgian Orthodox Church in central Tbilisi, located across from the Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue. The Kashveti church was constructed between 1904 and 1910 by the architect Leopold Bilfeldt, who based his design on the medieval Samtavisi Cathedral. The construction was sponsored by the Georgian nobility and bourgeoisie. Kashveti was built on the site of a damaged church built of brick at the request of the Amilakhvari family in 1753. Significant contributions to the current church's ornate design were made by N. Agladze. Kashveti's frescoes were painted by the influential Georgian painter, Lado Gudiashvili, in 1947. The name "kashveti" is derived from Georgian words kva for a "stone" and shva "to give birth." Legend has it the prominent 6th century monk David of Gareja of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers was accused by a woman of making her a pregnant in Tbilisi. David prophesied his denial would be proved when she gave birth to a stone. She did, and the place received the name of "kashveti".
