Roosevelt High School (Yonkers, New York)

Sherwood House is a historic home located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1740 and is a 3-story frame structure on an exposed basement built into a hillside. Additions and modifications took place about 1810, 1850, and 1880. It features a 2-story porch spanning the entire facade and 2 dutch doors. The house was extensively remodeled in 1955. Also on the property is a 1+1⁄2-story, frame caretaker's cottage and a barn. Both were built about 1840.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is now owned by the Yonkers Historical Society, which offers tours.

Yonkers Water Works is a historic public water works located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. Three buildings remain extant; two were built in 1876 and one in 1898. They are reflective of the High Victorian style. The Tuckahoe Road Pumping Station was built in 1876 and expanded before 1900. The original section is three bays wide and three bays deep with a central projecting pavilion and pedimented gable roof. The gatehouse at Grassy Sprain Reservoir was also constructed in 1876. It is a small, one story masonry building on a high granite foundation. The Tubewell Station was built in 1898 and expanded in 1922. It is a red brick building, one and one half stories high and five bays wide and 13 bays deep.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Hall of Records is a historic corporate archives located at Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was designed by architect D. Everett Waid and built by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1906. The Classical Revival style building consists of a two-story section built in 1906, a third floor that was added in 1920, and two additions that were constructed in 1917 and 1927. It is constructed of steel frame and reinforced concrete, and has a brick curtain wall. The building is "L"-shaped features a convex portico with cast stone columns at the interior of the "L". The building housed over 56 linear miles of filing space in shelving units and cabinets and remained under Metropolitan Life's ownership until 2006.: 3–4, 10 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Eleazer Hart House is a historic home located at 243 Bronxville Road in the Cedar Knolls section of Southeast Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1788 and is a Federal period residence. The building incorporates an earlier tenant farmhouse dating from the Philipse Manor era (1684–1783) and most likely dates to about 1760. The older house is a 1+1⁄2-story, three-by-two-bay building on a stone foundation. The main house is five bays wide on the first floor and three bays on the second. It has a gable roof and is clad in wide shingles, painted white. Also on the property is a 1+1⁄2-story, gable-roofed barn.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Armour Villa is a neighborhood in Northeast Yonkers, New York, that shares a postal zip code with the town of Bronxville, New York. It lies west of the Bronx River Parkway, between Tuckahoe Road and Pondfield Road West. Although part of the City of Yonkers, Armour Villa is just over the border from the Village of Bronxville. Along with several adjoining Yonkers neighborhoods, it has a Bronxville ZIP code. The neighborhood was incorporated in 1889 as the Armour Villa Park Association. The investors who formed the association purchased the property from a man named Cornelius Smith for $39,000; Smith had purchased the land nine years earlier for only $6,500.Cornelius Smith had a son named H. Armour Smith, which has led to speculation of some kind of connection (a relative or an investor) between Smith and Herman O. Armour, who was the head of the New York House of Armour Meat Packing Company. The New York Times reported that several of Armour Villa's houses date to its earliest days. Nancy Little's house, an Arts and Crafts Victorian farmhouse, was built in 1890. The majority of the homes – mostly Tudors, Colonials, and Victorians – were built in the 1920s and 1930s, and are priced from $500,000 to the low $900,000's. There are also a handful of houses priced in the Millions. Interspersed with the older houses are ranches, mostly built in the 1960s and 1970s.

Lawrence Park Historic District is a national historic district located at Bronxville, Westchester County, New York. The district contains 94 contributing buildings, the majority of which are architecturally or historically significant. Developed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century on twenty acres of land closely associated with the historical evolution of the surrounding community, the area attracted as residents many prominent artists and writers of the period. The Park structures were built on a wooded hillside, along winding roads. While in close proximity to one another, they achieve a feeling of seclusion and privacy. Few of the houses have had major alterations, and today Lawrence Park retains much of its original character. Lawrence Park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The district is primarily residential and representative of early suburban growth outside New York City. Bordering Lawrence Park to the south and west is the commercial section of the Village of Bronxville, or village center, with Pondfield Road running down the center. Newer residential areas lie north and east of the district, sharply delineated by changes in terrain.

The mall's anchor stores are Showcase Cinemas, Dick's Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Whole Foods Market, Lowe's, and Legoland Discovery Centre.

Winchester Villages is a gated community in the northeastern segment of the city of Yonkers in Westchester County, New York. It was built by the Ginsburg Development Company and completed in 1997. It consists of 188 semi-attached homes. The homes originally sold for under $300,000, making them among the most affordable options in Westchester County at the time. The complex includes a playground, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse with a small gym and party facilities. The development has drawn criticism for its car-dependent design, as its only entrance is located on East Grassy Sprain Road, a not pedestrian-friendly road parallel to the northbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway. The closest bus stop is nearly two miles away.

Plashbourne Estate is a historic estate located in the Lawrence Park West section of Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was designed in 1911 by the architectural firm of Carrère and Hastings and built for artist Violet Oakley (1874–1961) in the Tudor Revival style. It is a 2+1⁄2-story stone building with an irregular compound plan and cross-gabled roofline. After 1915, it became the home of Anna Lawrence Bisland (1872–1950), third daughter of William Van Duzer Lawrence, who resided there until her death. Grayson L. Kirk (1903–1997) resided at Plashbourne Estate from 1973 until his death.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
