Valencia's Aquarium

On March 28, 2018, a fire broke out during a prison riot in the cells at the Carabobo state police headquarters in Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela. The fire killed at least 68 people and injured scores of others. The fire is one of the deadliest incidents ever in a Venezuelan prison since the 1994 Sabaneta prison fire, in which more than 100 inmates died.Four prosecutors have been named to investigate the circumstances preceding the victims' deaths. The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights requested an investigation and reparations for the families of the fire victims.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Valencia en Venezuela (Latin: Archidioecesis Valentinus in Venetiola) is an archdiocese located in the city of Valencia in Venezuela.

The Camoruco railway terminus (Spanish: Estación Camoruco del Ferrocarril) in Valencia, Venezuela, is a rare survival of a 19th-century railway station in the South America country. The building is also known as the Rectorado of the University of Carabobo. When the Puerto Cabello and Valencia railway closed in the 1950s, the station was transferred to the University of Carabobo which converted it for administrative use.

Valencia (Spanish pronunciation: [baˈlensja]) is the capital city of Carabobo State and the third-largest city in Venezuela. Carabobo State (Spanish: Estado Carabobo, IPA: [esˈtaðo kaɾaˈβoβo]) is one of the 23 states of Venezuela, located in the north of the country, about two hours by car from Caracas. The state capital city is Valencia, which is also the country's main industrial center. The state's area is 4,369 km2 (1,687 sq mi) and as of the 2011 census, had a population of 2,245,744. Carabobo State was the site of the Battle of Carabobo on 24 June 1821. This was a decisive win in the war of independence from Spain, and was led by Simón Bolívar.

Forum de Valencia is an indoor sporting arena located in the Venezuelan city of Valencia, Carabobo. The capacity of the arena is 10,000 and is used mostly for basketball and concerts.

Estadio José Bernardo Pérez is a multi-use stadium in Valencia, Venezuela. It opened on October 8, 1955, and holds 15,500 people. Originally named Estadio Cuatricentenario, it primarily served as the home stadium for the Industriales de Valencia baseball club. Prior to the 1965–1966 season, the ballpark was renamed in honour of José Bernardo Pérez, a prominent local athlete. It is currently used mostly for baseball games and serves as the home of the Navegantes del Magallanes. The stadium co-hosted the 2006 Caribbean Series.

Estadio Misael Delgado is a multi-use stadium in Valencia, Venezuela. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Carabobo FC. The stadium holds 10,400 people (all seaters) and was reopened in 2001 (last remodel). The stadium hosted the 1994 South American Games and the Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 de 1977 in which Diego Maradona participated.

Miguel Peña is by far the largest civil parish in the municipality of Valencia, Carabobo, and one of the most populous in Venezuela. It is located in the Southern part of the city and it has most of Valencia's poorest slums. It has a surface of some 200 km² for a density of some 2500 inhabitants per km².

Plaza de Toros Monumental de Valencia is a bull ring in Valencia, Venezuela. It is used for bull fighting and other events like concerts and fairs. It is the second largest bullring in the world, the first being the Plaza de toros México. The stadium holds 24,708 people and was built in 1968.
