North-Western Tunnel (Russian: Северо-Западный тоннель) is a road and subway tunnel in Moscow, Russia. It is a part of the Krasnopresnensky prospekt, that extends the M9 motorway to the city center, and of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Metro Line. It is about 2.8 km (1.7 mi) long and is the fourth longest in-city tunnel of Europe (after the Dublin Port Tunnel at 4.5 km, the Södra länken in Stockholm at 4.5 km and Giovanni XXIII Tunnel in Rome at 2.9 km). It runs under the Serebryany bor forest. The double-level tunnel combines the road and railway traffic. The tunnel was opened on December 27, 2007.

Strogino (Russian: Строгино), formerly known as Ostrogino (Острогино), is a district in North-Western Administrative Okrug of Moscow, Russia, located on the right bank of the Moskva River about 12 km west-northwest of central Moscow. An eponymous Moscow Metro station Strogino on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line was opened here on January 7, 2008. The Moscow Ring Road runs down the western border, and the Moskva River borders the district on the north and east. The area of the district is 18.643 square kilometres (7.198 sq mi). Population: 152,500 (2017 est.)

Krylatskoye Ice Palace (Russian: Ледовый дворец «Крылатское») is an indoor ice arena for speed skating and bandy located in Krylatskoye District, Moscow, Russia.[1] It is the home of Dynamo Moscow bandy club.

The Krylatskoye Sports Complex Velodrome is an indoor velodrome in the Krylatskoye district of Moscow, Russia. It was built in 1979 according to a design from a team of architects for the 1980 Summer Olympics and hosted the track cycling events. The velodrome is situated on Krylatskaya street, between the Krylatsky Hill and the Rowing Canal.

Krylatskoye (Russian: Крылатское) is a Moscow Metro station in the Krylatskoye District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, between Strogino and Molodyozhnaya stations. Before 2008 it was the terminus of the Filyovskaya Line.

Strogino (Russian: Строгино́) is a Moscow Metro station in the Strogino District, North-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, between Myakinino and Krylatskoye stations. The station opened on 7 January 2008 as a part of a massive Strogino–Mitino extension, and used to be the terminus of the line until its extension to Mitino on 26 December 2009. Originally planned as part of a massive chordal line, construction began in the late 1980s, but after major delays in finances work has stalled and was restarted much later, in 2004. The overall design, adopted by architects A. Orlov and A. Nekrasov is a shallow depth single vault. Running along its snow-white colour, is a set of wedges which contain 16 triangle-shaped caissons, each housing the lighting element, in shape of a giant droplet. The platform itself is covered in bright grey granite and contains a series of arrow-shaped benches made of wood with stainless steel markings. The station contains two vestibules, both located under the Stroginsky Boulevard, although the opening of the Western one was postponed due to the delays of escalator contractor in Saint Petersburg. Both vestibules are connected to subways that lead to large glazed pavilions, located not far from the intersection with the Tallinskaya street (Eastern) and the Kulakova street (Western). As the station was only the first stage of the extension, its terminus state was temporary, as the line continues northwestward to Mitino since December 2009. There were plans to make this station a cross-platform interchange with the Kalininskaya Line which would then take over the Mitino extension, and the terminus station of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya would revert to Strogino; however, currently Kalininskaya Line is projected to be connected to the Solntsevsky radius.

The Krylatskoye Sports Complex Archery Field is a sports venue located in Moscow, Russia. Located near the Canoeing and Rowing Basin, it hosted the archery competitions for the 1980 Summer Olympics.

Krylatskoye District (Russian: райо́н Крыла́тское) is a territorial division (a district, or raion) in Western Administrative Okrug, one of the 125 in the federal city of Moscow, Russia. It is located in the west of the federal city. The area of the district is 12.0446 square kilometers (4.6504 sq mi). As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 78,509.

Zhivopisny Bridge (Russian: Живописный Мост, lit. Picturesque bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge that spans Moskva River in north-western Moscow, Russia. It is the first cable-stayed bridge in Moscow. It opened on 27 December 2007 as a part of Krasnopresnensky avenue. It is also the highest cable-stayed bridge in Europe. The author of the project is the architect Nikolay Shumakov.

The Krylatskoye Rowing Canal is a canoe sprint and rowing venue located in the Krylatskoye Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia. Constructed in 1973, the venue hosted the 1973 European Rowing Championships. It then hosted canoeing and rowing competitions for the 1980 Summer Olympics. It was the host venue for the 2014 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships.

Dynamo Palace of Sports in Krylatskoye (Russian: Дворец спорта «Динамо» в Крылатском) is a multi-purpose indoor sporting arena located in Krylatskoye District, Moscow, Russia. The arena has mainly been used to host futsal, boxing, and basketball. The seating capacity of the arena is for 5,000 people.
