The Haverford State Hospital was a psychiatric hospital outside of Philadelphia. Its extensive former grounds occupy the northern sections of Delaware County west of the city of Philadelphia, in Haverford Township. A residential development, Haverford Reserve, now occupies the former site of the asylum.

Bridge in Radnor Township No. 2 is a historic brick and concrete arch bridge located at Villanova in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1905, and is a 75-foot-long (23 m), arch bridge with a single arch with a 10-foot-long (3.0 m) span. It features an ornate parapet cap. It spans the Meadowbrook Run.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Glenays, also known as Leighton House, is a historic home located in Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The property was purchased by Richard Roger Montgomery and his wife Elisabeth Binney Montgomery in 1859. It is a three-story, stucco over stone Italian Villa style dwelling built in three sections. The first section was built in 1859, with additions built in the late-19th century and 1925. The 1925 addition and garden walls (1928) were designed by architect George Howe (1886–1955).For many years, the estate was the home of Archibald R. Montgomery and later, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Biddle. In 1974, it was used as the "Designers' Show House" by the Philadelphia Vassar Club to benefit their scholarship fund. As of 2017, it was abandoned and in a state of disrepair. As of 2021 the land has been subdivided to build new houses. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr, commonly referred to as, SHA or Sacred Heart, is a highly selective, independent, private, Roman Catholic school for girls. Sacred Heart is located on the Main Line in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and consists of a Lower, Middle, and Upper School with approximately 232 in enrollment. The school is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools.

The Allgates is located in Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The large estate contained 19 buildings. The largest of them is the Mansion House, designed by Wilson Eyre, and completed in 1912. The Frog Tavern was built in 1731, and the Federal School was built in 1797. The complex of buildings was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 15, 1979, and the Federal School was listed separately in 1971. The estate was built for financier Horatio Gates Lloyd, simultaneously partner in Drexel and Co. and J.P. Morgan and Co. and President of the Commercial Trust Co. of Philadelphia, and his wife Mary Helen Wingate Lloyd.The area was landscaped the Olmsted Brothers (1911-1915); Additions to the garden were made by Ferrucio Vitale. The gardens did not survive. Since Allgates listing on the NRHP, the estate has been developed with several new large residences. Both the Mansion House and the Federal School remain, however.

Ithan Creek (also known as Ithan Run) is a tributary of Darby Creek in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 4.2 miles (6.8 km) long and flows through Radnor Township and Haverford Township. The creek's watershed has an area of 7.39 square miles (19.1 km2) and is highly developed. It has three named tributaries: Browns Run, Kirks Run, and Meadowbrook Run. Ithan Creek is within the Piedmont Uplands physiographic province. The creek was historically the site of several mills and has been subjected to numerous floods over the years. In 1902, a sewage company began dumping raw sewage into the creek, but this practice was stopped in 1905. The creek is in approved trout waters. It is the site of Ithan Valley Park, a small park with hiking and fishing opportunities and the Radnor Valley Country Club.

Meadowbrook Run (also known as Meadow Brook Creek) is a tributary of Ithan Creek in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 1.9 miles (3.1 km) long and flows through Radnor Township and Haverford Township.

Cobble Court is a historic house originally commissioned by the distiller J. Hazeltine Carstairs, who owned 50 acres from Marple Rd. to Ardmore Ave. Originally named Spring Hill Farms, the house was built alongside the first hole of the Merion Golf Club west course in 1924. Sold to Henry Bryer, the owner of Bryers, a prominent ice cream manufacturer, who installed the cobblestone courtyard, and changed the name to "Cobble Court." In 1963 the Breyers estate was subdivided and the main house sold to Stuart Saunders of the Pennsylvania Railroad. After Carstairs, the home was purchased by Marian and Marvin Garfinkel. The house is on the local survey of historic buildings. The home was designed by John Russell Pope, an architect who is also credited with designing the Jefferson Memorial and the National Gallery of Art.

The Federal School is a historic one-room schoolhouse located on Darby Road in Haverford, Pennsylvania near the Allgates Estate. It was established in 1797, and was called the Federal School because of the community's pride of being part of the Federal United States, but not much else is known about it until 1849, when the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania purchased the building and officially renamed it the Haverford Seminary Number 1. It served as a public school from then until Horatio Gates Lloyd bought it in 1940. After his family moved out it served as a storage building. The Historical Society of Haverford Township restored it in 1991. The Federal School now has 1849 school re-enactments for 4th Graders in the School District of Haverford Township. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The American College Arboretum (35 acres) is an arboretum located on the campus of The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, at 270 South Bryn Mawr Avenue. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum began in 1959 when the college started preserving trees, and was formally established as an arboretum in 1994. Today the arboretum contains about 600 labeled trees of many species, as well as a small valley with a pond. It also features the Samuel Weese Conifer Collection and the Margaret Bradshaw Sundial Garden.

Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is a coeducational college-preparatory and religiously pluralistic Jewish day school for grades 6 through 12, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Founded in Center City, Philadelphia in 1946 as Akiba Hebrew Academy, the school renamed itself in 2007. It is the oldest pluralistic Jewish secondary school in the United States.

The American College of Financial Services (The American College) is a private online university focused on professional training for financial practitioners and located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It offers several professional certifications and master's degrees. Annually, The American College educates approximately 40,000 students, mainly through distance education. The institution was founded as The American College of Life Underwriters in 1927 by Solomon S. Huebner of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Huebner was a professional involved in the development of economic theory. His theory of human life value is used in the field of insurance. It was his vision for a college-level professional education program for insurance agents that led to the creation of The American College.Today the college offers professional training to all types of financial practitioners. When the institution began, programs focused exclusively on providing education to life insurance professionals. The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation was the first credential offered by The College. Today The College provides training for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam, The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, and the Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) master's degree. Twenty full-time faculty members and financial experts work at the campus.The American College campus was bought by the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in 2007.In May 2019, The American College moved its operational headquarters to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
