Cianjin District, Kaohsiung

City Council (Former site) is a station on the Orange line of Kaohsiung MRT in Cianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Ba Ba - Central Park (Chinese: 巴巴中央花園; pinyin: Bābā zhōngyāng huāyuán) is a residential skyscraper located in Qianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. As of December 2020, it is the 15th tallest building in Kaohsiung. The height of the building is 144.4 m (474 ft), and it comprises 39 floors above ground, as well as seven basement levels. The building was completed in 2015.

King's Town Hyatt (Chinese: 京城凱悅; pinyin: Jīngchéng Kǎiyuè) is a 35-story, 137 m (449 ft) tall residential skyscraper located in Qianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Construction of the skyscraper began in 2005 and it was completed in 2009. Designed by the Hong Kong based architectural firm P&T Group, the residential building provides 174 units of luxury apartments, with facilities such as a swimming pool, banquet hall, fitness center and a sky lounge on its topmost floor. As of December 2021, it is the 23rd tallest building in Kaohsiung.

The Xin-Fu-Hwa (Chinese: 馨馥華大樓; pinyin: Xīn fù huá dàlóu), is a residential skyscraper located in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Construction of the building began in 1998 and it was one of the tallest residential buildings in Kaohsiung when it was completed in 2000. The height of the building is 149 m (489 ft), and it comprises 41 floors above ground. The building is located close to Kaohsiung Central Park, with a view of the cityscape of Kaohsiung on its top floors.

Central Park (traditional Chinese: 中央公園; simplified Chinese: 中央公园; pinyin: Zhōngyāng Gōngyuán; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-iong Kong-hn̂g) is a park in Cianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The park is an oasis of greenery in the midst of a heavily built-up urban area.

Kaohsiung Li De Baseball Stadium (Chinese: 高雄市立立德棒球場; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Lìdé Bàngqiúchǎng) is a baseball stadium in Cianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is mainly used for junior and amateur level baseball games, but also frequently hosts the minor league games of the Lamigo Monkeys, a professional baseball team based in Chengching Lake Baseball Field and also uses Li De Stadium as a secondary stadium.

The Kaohsiung Twin Towers, also known as Illuna Towers (Chinese: 夢萊茵), is a complex of twin residential skyscrapers completed in 1996 and located in Qianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The height of the buildings are 142 m (466 ft), comprising 35 floors above ground, with a floor area of 52,628.4 m2 (566,487 sq ft). As of December 2020, it is the 19th tallest building in Kaohsiung.

Yancheng District (Chinese: 鹽埕區; pinyin: Yánchéng Qū; Wade–Giles: Yen²-chʻêng² Chʻü¹) is a district in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It is the smallest district in Kaohsiung City. It has been the least populous district of Kaohsiung since 2004. Yancheng District is also an old town of Kaohsiung.

The Love River or Ai River (simplified Chinese: 爱河; traditional Chinese: 愛河; pinyin: Ài Hé; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ài-hô) is a river (canal) in southern Taiwan. It originates in Renwu District, Kaohsiung City, and flows 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) through Kaohsiung to Kaohsiung Harbor. Love River is the spine of Kaohsiung, playing a similar role to the River Thames of London. It is of great cultural significance to the people of Kaohsiung and plays an important role in its economy and tourism. A riverside park, the Love River Park, runs along the riverbank in downtown Kaohsiung City. A night market operates in the park, and there are three outdoor cafés, often with live bands. Boats which hold about fifteen people take tourists up and down the river. The scenery is enhanced by attractive city structures near the river, such as the Holy Rosary Cathedral, Kaohsiung Bridge, and the Kaohsiung District Court. Cultural events such as concerts and the Lantern Festival are often held by the river. The Love River was once heavily polluted, when raw sewage and industrial waste water flowed untreated into the river. Recent efforts by the city government to divert the waste water to the treatment plant in Cijin District has resulted in significantly improved water quality. Love River is now used for sightseeing, and there are duck boats, love boats and gondola rides for tourists to enjoy the city view. In 2018, mayor Han Kuo-yu proposed that a ferris wheel be built on the bank of Love River to create a romance industry and improve the economy.

Formosa Boulevard (Chinese: 美麗島站; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bí-lē-tó-chām) is a station of Kaohsiung Metro located in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung. It is currently the sole interchange station between metro lines in Kaohsiung.Formosa Boulevard station is named after the Formosa Boulevard project, a remodelling of Kaohsiung's Jhongshan Road in preparation for the 2009 World Games. Formosa Boulevard is in turn named after the Formosa Incident. Transferring from the Red line to the Orange line (or vice versa) takes roughly 4 minutes.

Sinsing District (Chinese: 新興區; Hanyu Pinyin: Xīnxīng Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Sinsing Cyu; Wade–Giles: Hsin1-hsing1 Ch'ü1) is a downtown district of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.

Central Park is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The station is named after the nearby Central Park.
